It took 2 YEARS for this kit to come to me
I got paid back from amazon and then it showed up years later. I looked for it for 3 years before i found one i could.i buy. I drove a coupe and built it to look JUST LIKE MINE in high school
$5 dollar drift missle. Yours came out AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I have a couple of hatchbacks ready to build now.
I love your "out of the box" thinking. Pun intended. Wonderful stuff.
Nothing wrong with building your favourite car in multiple styles. As a scale model truck builder, I've built three Peterbilt 359's in different configurations. Keep up the amazing work!
No worries on the number of AE86’s you’ve built. Even as someone who hates Toyota for personal reasons, I love the simplistic elegance of the AE86 model line.
How come? If your comfortable sharing
I’ve been watching you for years and this is my favorite video you’ve ever done. I love that you’re putting some humor in your commentary!
Same! Absolutely love the comedic commentary.
Thank you very much for the support.🥹🥹And I am glad you like the commentary.🥴

Im also working on an AE86 coupe from fujimi going for the same project car/touge drifter used look, and you have given me a lot of ideas for my build. Great video, love the commentary!
Thank you.🥹Have fun with the build.😏😏
This is the best professional model building I’ve ever seen in my whole life!!!!
Thank you very much.🥹🥹🥹
You killed it with this one, wow!
I don't care what you build because I'm still going to watch, great builds and videos.
From average model builder with clean "out of box" built you grew up into awesome scale model builder with lot of experience and original ideas. I really enjoying every each of your videos from clean built, anime built and your journey to be awesome model builder! Great job as always!!
Greetings from Czech republic!
Lol!! Great video, nothing like challenges they make us stronger
I watched the red Silvia S14 before I watched this video and I am amazed by how much more confident you are while voicing the video! Great job man!
Amazing work! After watching this, I think that I will build a similar abandoned 1/24 car 🤔
Go for it! It’s different from building a shiny new car but it’s lot of fun.😎
Really cool Jun!
Lol I like your talking bits keep it going 👍
Seriously I loved his humor. 2:13 😂
Awesome build.
ya know all the attention to the small details here n there make for a more realistic and believable look and finish and thats deff a project car Excellent build great work love your channel keep building and enjoy!!
This reminds so much of the AE86 that Juicebox here on youtube is currently restoring/making "roadworthy".
Very nice job!
I imagine someone digs this up many years from now, not knowing the origin, and does a restoration project but instead of it being rusty, they restore it to like new.
Very nicely done!
Love these eight six videos, they always cheer me up since i have a plan making my first aoshima soon! wonder how it's gonna turn out though.😅
great video bro!! i started doing modeling because of you
Niiiiiiice!! Enjoy the hobby!👍
Awesome techniques my friend, I did learn a lot from this video
I like the idea of models like this having some kind of back story. It helps with deciding some of the smaller details and really makes it feel real
You're my inspiration for building the Tamiya 1965 Mexican grand prix which is still in progress. Love that you have videos with commentary. You're a legend! More please
Another great work! Love it dude and thanks for the video. ;)
Impressionnant bravo superbe réalisation
With so much high praise you heaped on Fujimi throughout this video, I can only assume you are now endorsed by Fujimi. Congratulations 😄
I love your build videos man, thanks for coming back.
Thank you for the support.😊😊
I hope you can make videos like this more regularly I have been waiting for months
hi love your videos youve encouraged me to experiment more in modeling 👍👍
holy shit dude you’re good at this
Looking good for a Project car, and we all have our favourite cars, don,t we. You got the AE86, i bought last week 6 Mercedes AMG GT,s from tamiya and the 3 Porsches in 1-12 scale and a Nissan GTR in 1-12 scale. You can never have enough of your favourite cars. I like to start also with wheatering and watch a lot of those video,s now, due to chemotherapy i don,t build, but spend my time watching and learning from guys like you.
Bonito Modelo. Me encanta el Toyota Trueno ⚡🌩️ . Lograste obtener un acabado con oxido y desgaste Perfecto. Me hubiera Gustado algunos huecos en las latas. Tus modelos son una inspiracion para mi. 👍👍👍
Amazing build as always. Would love to see you tackle an ST205 Celica one day. Don't see those being built much.
Man its always a good day when you upload
I love the new video format! I hope you don't give up on this hobby and keep filming.
Thank you so much. I am glad you like the new video format.😊😊
Amazing work as usual :]
Thank you very much.❤️
Wow! Another great video. I don’t care how many AE86s you do, they always turn out awesome looking. Your idea on making seat belt buckles is most outstanding. Great job, as always, and keep it up!👍
Thank you.🙏🙏
Amazing 🤩 🎉
It would be so cool to see you do a vintage rally car in a similar fashion!!
Very impressed. I always learn new techniques watching your builds ❤
Thank you Jared.🙏
Nice build
Thank you.🙏
amazing concept amazing work!
You saying you're not an advanced modeler is just about the craziest thing ive ever heard
These videos always make my days better, beautiful work as always
Very nice. Good work. Only 1 suggestion. The front wheels with their disc brakes would be highly likely to have a great deal of brake dust grime inside. In late 1984, right after I bought a new 85 Honda Civic S (with a 3bbl carb, next year model, 86, was the 1st year of Si), my brother bought a new 85 Corolla GTS. To those in some other countries than USA, a Corolla Trueno hatchback. 4AGe engine with 5 speed manual. When the original tires were worn out, he installed a set of Enkei basket wheels in 15" with wide low profile tires. Just like the wheels you put on this model. The car was later stolen. Found 2 weeks later in another part of LA stripped and burned. With the insurance money he replaced it with a new AE92 FWD Corolla GTS.
For someone new to this hobby like I am, this was very inspiring to watch. Awesome job man
Great build, congrats ! Now …. How would it looks when the restoration project is done ? There you go, a reason to build another AE86 !
More Fujimi??! NOOOooooo.😂😂
Nice video
Thank you.🙏
As an ae86 owner I can confirm every single 86 has rusty rear arches to some extent 🤣
I love your builds and videos! keep up the awesome work.
Wow, i just discovered your channel, and man, your work is amazing! I work with 1:43 models but anyway, its nice to learn something from сolleagues! I was thinking, maybe it would be cool to also have some see through heavy corrosion in a place or two🤔
Outstanding build. Looks exactly like amateur drifting or track day cars one can find at their local venue. Thank you for sharing your work; I have recently discovered the time investment to make a build video, and it is substantial...
Thank you.😊😊And yes these videos do take a long time to make.😩
@@JunsMiniGarage I spent nearly as long as I did making the model to edit my first build video, and it's still a very poor effort for a video lol. I imagine your highly refined videos likely take twice as long to edit and make as it does to make the model itself! Kudos to you Jun, I certainly appreciate your efforts.
I've waited this video for a while! And as usual amazing build btw will you make the AE86 Levin from Initial D?
Thank you.❤️ I have the Levin from Initial D in my collection. It’s probably not gonna be the next video but it will get built.👍
@@JunsMiniGarage I see,i just thought that you will build it next
Without question this is amazing work and also without question you must build a version like this of the JUICEBOX AE86. The guy Neil from JUICEBOX has spent over 5 years trying to build his own dream AE86. The bodywork of his car has been in a similar state for years but is about to get painted.
It would be amazing to see a model built of it in its current state.
i hope in a few videos he starts to post bloopers cuz i wanna watch those lol😂
I don’t mind AE86 is one of my dream cars !
The intro is amazing 😂😂
Very realistic. Nice! Also, I enjoyed the opening music, which sounded like an old vinyl recording!
I love the top gear style intro lol
Fantastic work! Love all the details you've added to it. Very realistic, Well done 👍🏼👍🏼
Love this build, as with all your models the attention to detail is outstanding 👍🏻
Thank you.🥹🥹
Nice to see this variant of the AE86 built up, because as you said the liftback is more common among the kit manufacturers. When I was growing up I saw more coupes than liftbacks, and my father owned a Cressida with a blue interior, so this is bringing back some memories for me. I also like your decision to do it as a beater in need of restoration. Any thoughts of doing a "before" and "after" build?
Nice. I would have added a clearer part of the windscreen where the wiper blade had been on. Just a suggestion!
Also, bird poo! Theres always bird poo on old cars! 😂
That rist effect is really nice.
This is also truer than all of the scale "restorations". Each time they buy a 1/24 whatever and then put it in the condition that he is doing with this and then say the found it that way and "restore it. As I always state, I would have liked to see the work to get it to the before stage, you actually get to see it here. This is like the 1/64 scale videos where someone takes a car of that scale and then turns it into something else. Like a Bentley that is turned into a six-wheeled monster. Or he takes a normal 1965 Mustang and then he turns it into a 1/64 scale tribute to Ken Block's Hoonicorn Mustang.
Super build! I enjoyed it a lot now that you’re adding voice over to your videos.
Thank you so much. I am glad to hear that.🥹🥹
やっぱり缶スプレー,ブラシ,筆塗りが間違い無くて良いですね⭕️一度塗装失敗知ると直せば直す程失敗して最後には叩きつけてしましいます🎉
U still amazing builder, keep them coming love watching ur vids
Thank you for this weathering video. I'm working on a similar project, though of an American car, and I had not thought of using Tamiya panel line paint for weathering and streaking effects. Also, your application of rust effects looks very realistic.
Your weathering looks very authentic, as for wanting a real project car to do up, I wouldn’t bother all it will do is consume loads of money and in about 2 years all that removed rust will be back! Stick to the models it’s far less expensive! 😂😂😂
Absolutely amazing!
Would loooooove to see you build a CRX kit ❤❤
So good to see you back!
mindblowing amazing, your dedication and precision for all little details, makes this old rusted looking race car a masterpiece, i defenitly lerned some about modelism paintjob thanks to you !
Oh and btw, there will never be enough AE86 in modelism and real life , so ... keep doing some more ! LOL
Wow! You are so talented. This is amazing 🔥
Thank you.🥹🥹

Magical !
Awesome video again! It really inspire to start this. Greeting from the Netherlands

Loved it. So cool................
very funny TOP GEAR style intro
