After watching your videos and videos from A4 Garage, I decided to build a Bronco model. My skills and abilities have Improved greatly just from watching you. I have learned so much from you about how patients and precision pays off when detailing and painting. Thank you for sharing your skills, I have been able to do things now that I would have never attempted just one month ago. Again, THANK YOU.
This is museum quality artistry. I actually thought that I was doing pretty good at getting better at building models till I saw this. Now I feel like a 5 year old with a pocket knife and a hammer on a coffee high. Im so impressed with the incredible talent of this man. Truly remarkable. Beautiful build. Stunning end product!
Man, you're something else. Unbelievable work, like something I've never seen anyone do with a model. Absolutely incredible job. Watching this was so relaxing and it was so much fun to watch how you made it. Well done.
The Tamiya Lotus (Caterham Super 7) is a completely different model and most importantly, it is 1:12 scale - twice the size of your 1:24 model. It also has a great bit more detail in it, not just the diecast frame, suspension and aluminum plate body sections. Fully functioning metal suspension and even tiny removable lug nuts on the wheels. I know this as I have built two versions that were made - the standard full fender and the cycle fender special. They were $400 kits when released, a tad more than your 1:24. I will say that you did an excellent job with what you had to work with - very nice work fabricating the aluminum body portions!
@@kenji-plasticmodels - Each to his own. That's why they make different sizes (scale) models of varying complexity, to appeal to a wide assortment of customers. As a kid, I built dozens of model cars in 1:24 and 1:18 scale. I got so I didn't need the directions as there were not that many parts and I recognized virtually all of them and knew where they belonged. That is when I decided to build larger models with many more parts, so that I would be challenged a bit in building them. A typical 1:24 scale model car back then - 1950s - had maybe 25-30 parts, if that. They became boring to build. In 1972, I discovered Pocher models which were 1:8 scale and had many metal parts and were assembled with machine screws with very little gluing required. The nicest one I built took me just over a year to complete and had 2,364 parts to it! You had to upholster the seats and doors and sew the fabric convertible top. I had my wife sew the top! I'm 74 now and still building model cars and I very much enjoy the larger ones with far more detail than any smaller ones can provide. They look far more real than the little ones and that has remained my biggest desire.
This is absolutely beautiful. The attention to fine detail and overall quality of work throughout is incredible. I'm now subscribed and will be checking out your other builds. Truly impressive.

I have just brought this model for my first attempt at model building in my retirement, it is inspiring to see just how good this little kit can look with a skilled hand. 👌
I greatly admire your videos and the exquisite level of detail in your work, you are a great craftsman, thank you very much for such a beautiful video, I send you a hug from southern Argentina.
I can only imagine the steady hands you need to complete the super details you've added to this kit. AMAZING! You are not a model builder, you're definitely an artist. I loved watching this video. Thank you for sharing your craft with us. :-)
The amount of times Kenji just says "You know what? I can make this better" and then proceeds to make his own hex and wing nuts to affix pieces to the model. I love the end result every time but, I can't help but shake my head like "oh man he's doing it again" Good show lad. Thanks for the builder ASMR
Wow man. When I saw you sawing off wheelcovers, I thought "oh, a custom one, cool", when I saw you actually creating them, I thought "Wow, that's a thorough build"... and then he started carving ignition key...😮😮😮

@@kenji-plasticmodels Hello. It is a lot of work to get the car back on the road. Lots of research trying to find all of the original parts required. The car is 60 years old so a lot of it is very tired. I was fortunate to find the correct Triumph axle and Ford engine/gearbox within 50 miles of ny home town. The chassis was repaired and skinned by a specialist 60 mikes from me so I was very lucky there. The next job is to get it painted. Your model certainly has been taken to the next level of excellence.
@@kenji-plasticmodels A lot of thinking. Fun and frustration to be honest. The car is very very basic indeed. Things do not fit properly and need to be persuaded to fit . The end product looks good but belies the work that has gone into it. Even repairing and skinning the chassis is a very tine consuming specialist job.
You are the proverbial “mad scientist” and I mean that in the nicest possible way. Your work in impeccable, and the lengths you go to to make these models come alive is mind boggling……. Crazy stuff, I wish I had your passion and imagination.
