- Exploring 162 Year Old Abandoned Mansion in Ontario Canada | 4K Abandoned Video
This now abandoned mansion dates back to the 1860's when this huge brick home would have been one of the only structures for miles. Now, the land is surrounded by homes and communities. This home will soon be relocated and surrounded by sprawl and is one of the only areas for miles that has not yes been developed.
There are a few homes on this huge plot of once was once a vast farm, two of these smaller homes are likely to be demolished in the coming years.
There is a major development planned here and thankfully this main home will be moved and incorporated somehow into the plans, whether as a mixed use residential or otherwise.

My God! What a BEAUTIFUL home. It is SO refreshing to see that it is NOT vandalized. There is so much love in there and you can just feel it. Thanks once again for sharing with us!!!
Thank you so much!
Wow, so Love the chair & otto plus the sofa. just sad to see in abandoned house. Yes, the house is massive & what a nice basement..
Really enjoyed this video! Beautiful old farmhouse that wasn't vandalized. I loved the woodwork and the large windows. I also thought the wallpaper throughout the house was tastefully done and matched the era of the house very well. Thanks for another great video!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Such a nice home. I'm happy to hear that it sounds like it will be saved and restored.
What a gorgeous house! It seems to have been well loved all its life and somehow still feels alive. The wallpaper! Wow. Thank you.
Thank you so much!
Beautiful home. Its incredible shape considering how old it is. I hope it has historical protection. Another great explore UBD. Big hugs from Alberta.
Glad you enjoyed it
Gorgeous. I love the woodwork and the wallpaper. We have an old doorbell like that on our house. I am so glad that it won't be knocked down by a developer.
Like how preserved the woodwork is. Great job. Thanks.
Thank you very much!

I hope so!
I love the fireplace it is special. The floors and the wood doors etc are beyond beautiful. Such a waste of a an old beautiful home.
Love 💗 this old house some cleaning and tweaking things I could live in it in about a week. That bath tub is the same one in my house. I love the wall paper in this house also. I hope that no body vandalizes this big beautiful home!!! Keep the video’s coming love them
Absolutely beautiful! I live in Indiana... There are lots of old farm houses in my town. I'm a farm girl and really appreciate houses like this... Thanks for sharing
You are so welcome!
Wow this house is GOALS. I dream of owning a house like that, and such good condition, I saw no damage. Thank you so much for finding this 💕💕
So Beautiful and an awesome explore..Love the brick building too from the outside. 🥰
Such a beautiful old home, really could be brought back to life .. thanks for the tour 🙂

Oh my goodness, I recognize some of these. Thank you. ❤🇨🇦
You are so welcome!
I really love this beautiful house. So glad that no one did any damage here. Thanks for letting us see this house. Huggs
Glad you enjoyed it
They will demolish it.
What is up Dave? Stunning house. I love it so much. Great shape for its age. Glad the vandals haven't found it. Wonder why they blocked off that other staircase. What a beautiful house. I'm so glad to hear that it is not getting demoed. Awesome Dave. 👌. Thanks.
I'm in love with this place!! Incredible find!
Beautiful old house. Love the floors and no damage in the wallpaper. Awesome to see. Thanks for showing it to us. Reminds me of the house I grew up in.
Glad you enjoyed it
Oh wow such a beautiful home
Hi Dave. Such a beautiful farmhouse. I know heritage gets a beauty like this to save, but it seems like they just sit & rot away. It never made sense that places like this are safe from demolition, but they sit & slip away
Glad you enjoyed it
Great photography. Beautiful old house. Loved it.
My wife and me love your videos. We live in Louisiana. Sure disappointed you didn't show expiration dates on the food. Finding approximate dates of the abandonment is one of the most interesting things. Keep on doing what you do cause we like your exploring very much
it's probably just food left behind by squatters.
Stunning, from the 1800's. Back in that time, someone would have been wealthy to live like this. What is the music in the beginning and end?
What an awesome house!!
It looks like one that could actually be restored...
It doesn't look like the residents have been gone all that long....
I honestly didn't know maple syrup could spoil, I've never had that problem!! But I have had it crystallize. 🤷
Another great vid! Keep up the great work.
Stay safe! Good vibes your way!
Awesome video!! Very cool place, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for coming
Enjoyed the video. That house deserves a family to make it a home.
It does!
@@Freaktography awesome.
This Fantastic old house should be saved!
wonderful old house - love the wallpaper throughout and the woodwork reminds me of my grandmothers house. Someone must care for it as all the windows are boarded up and chain link all round. I'd move right in!!!!
What a beautiful home! It looks to be in relatively good shape. It would be cool if someone would come along and update it. Love the stairs.
That front door needs to be re-homed asap! It's absolutely gorgeous!
Wow, what a beautiful house, the wallpaper, woodwork, the original white doorknobs! Someone took a lot of time to make that syrup. Great video 🤗
Farmhouse already 162 years . Nice inside but smelling mold and things in it . Good Dave !
Considering it's age it's in remarkable shape, it's obvious it hasn't been unoccupied for that long. Another great video dude and thank you 👍☮️
Very well kept home love those wooden doors and windows. What is your fav to do ? ❤❤❤❤ stay safe love ya
I wouldn't mind living there!! I'd update the washrooms, electrical, windows and basement. The rest i would keep as original as possible. Looks great for it's age
Thanks you guys see you soon beautiful video
Thank you too
Very beautiful house I really enjoyed the video
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful old house
You are brave! Being alone in a home with windows covered in wood blocking you in & the basement. I felt trapped watching this awesome video…
Beautiful old house. Shame its sitting empty.
Very sweet.
Nice
Very Bella.
Amazing as always!
I don’t believe I have ever seen Kraft peanut butter!
Does the flashlight have a clip? Does it get hot when on?
What a cool farmhouse! Of course I agree with everybody in that the woodwork is just absolutely fantastic! To me though it kind of looks like where the kitchen part is clear in the back might have either been updated or added on? The stairs that would’ve led to the basement would normally be beside the kitchen in an older house like that. So that’s why I think that maybe they added part of it on because the original staircase is blocked. I don’t think I have ever seen a staircase to a basement look that good either in an old house like this. Love all the door hardware and the enamel door knobs! Really nice explore! Take care!
Farmers are just tearing these down and not saving anything from them. I see it all the time here in southern Ontario.. sad really. Even the studs use for the walls could be repurposed 100%
Dave are a beast went come to these abandoned videos 🙏👌🏅
Awsome find I would love to have that house
thanks, yes its a beautiful place
Where in Ontario is this house?
Awesome video by the way! :)
Enjoyed this. Great job as usual.
Awesome, thank you!
Beautiful house, wish someone would restore it.
Love this video. Three chimneys, saw no heat units in the basement, how did they get heat? That huge "new" water heater?, unusual shape, all that maple syrup, the beautiful door knobs, although the windows are newer, none appear to be thermapane or any type of thermal? I am still hung up pont eh lack of heating. So glad to see it is not vnadalized.
Superb work keep going
I have know idea when this was filmed, but I hope that they move it soon. If it was able to be up for sale I would love to buy it.
Its a shame all that maple syrup was spoiled! What a waste. Great video UBD! Can't wait for more!
Filming a horror movie in this house would be awesome! It's so sad there's so many of these structures falling too the wayside.😘hi there buttercup what is up!😉....I would love to physically explore this house, so neat!😌
I totally agree!

I loved the floors and fireplace was awesome 👌 nice house for being all boarded up. Some one should be living in it. If it's not 🧟♂️haunted 👻.
hopefully that house gets renovated an lived in for the right reasons
Love the wood work
Me too!
I love a Freaktography heritage house explore!
Shared your video on my Facebook page.
Beautiful place
What an incredible place! I love all of the woodwork! The sidelight and transom windows are gorgeous! Love that doorbell, it has a key switch to turn on the front. When we remodel, we're putting a replica in our back door; nobody goes to the front door. The staircase is massive! I like the ones with doors below and on the side of the staircase. Are you close to a highway? That sounds like vehicles in the background. What happened that the house is abandoned? I'd live there! Ah, yes, well water. I recognize the blue tank because we have well water. I really like the deep windows. The second staircase to the basement being closed off and boxed in is strange. Such a shame it's empty. It's cold here as well. It snowed late last night and the wind is blowing 21mph. What a great explore! Thanks for sharing Dave!~ APRIL LIPKE
You sound like a bird! Chirp chirp
That's really recent pantry items. PC only recently switched to that box design for their Mac and Cheese
Just beautiful 🌹
With a house like this it’s definitely a good thing that they boarded it up, hopefully it does help to protect some of the beautiful details.
This house is a bit unusual having the basement fully finished and the basement floor is raised since it sounds like your walking on plywood not concrete.
Really the only way to tell if there was a staircase under the front stairs is to look from the basement.
But most time in a house like this the back secondary staircase leads to the basement, but in the case of this house actually having two ways to the basement is definitely unusual.
Most think when a house has a back staircase it’s for servants and in some larger homes that is the case, but in most cases with a farm house like this if it had one the farmer would use the secondary staircase so he doesn’t disturb the family in the morning, that’s why in most cases the master bedroom is near to the back staircase or in some cases in the master bedroom.
I grew up in this house. Can confirm that there was a staircase underneath. It was the access for the servants when the house was originally built. The rooms in the basement were the servants’ quarters.
@@purpledeadguy666 Going off of the size of the house, wouldn’t think it would have Servants.
Since it’s not overly large, but it’s very beautiful.
Look for dates on things to see what the last year was that it was abandoned please!!
Just so crazy to see these homes abandoned when there are so many people throughout the United States that need homes so sad
He is in Canada but yes so many homes that need people in them.
So many people that can't afford where they live that don't relocate to a place they can afford. It's crazy. I have friends that I grew up with that live in basement apartments instead of moving to more rural locations where real estate is so much cheaper
Are those stairs in a closet at 10:55?
They allot of beautiful places abandoned going to ruins
where is this located? prince edward county?
Old house should be restored and lived in again.
Why why why why is the big question
Does anybody know where this property is so I can see about its purchase? leave a comment pleas😋👍
Interesting how this old home looks so good still....real quality!!!, this generation of so called carpenters couldn't build a birdhouse without it falling apart its all just glue and scrap now.. mdf, osb ,plastic, composites, and laminates its just gross
so this house was occupied until recently
How was it determined to be 162 years old?
the date it was built
@@Freaktography i think @andylowe is asking how we know the age of a property. Do you go by what locals say or did you notice anything that attests to its age? Thanks for another great video.
@@Freaktography I wouldn't think there'd be houses in Ontario that old.
Your viewers leave HUGE comments. Lol! Meep!
So many ppl would live with out hydro and heat there just to have a place to stay and live in and here they sit all empty and alone
Did you have a female with you? I'm listening with my ear buds and I could've swore I heard a woman's voice before you went into the kitchen.
Nope I was alone
