Quick test: Bilt Hamber Auto Foam

The famous prewash detergent Bilt Hamber Auto Foam does a very good job removing almost all loose dirt without scrubbing. Generally speaking the most stubborn types of dirt are too much for it to handle - for example, brake dust that is burnt on the wheels. According to the advertisements, it is biodegradable and doesn't wash away the wax surface (my test subject didn't have any wax on it).
Test car was my Mercedes-Benz W124, which had quite a layer of sand on it after the winter.

Good stuff that cleaning foam. I'd have buffed her up with a polisher after 😁Though I would only do that once year to my car and no more, I sold the polisher 😂. It must be about time you got working again on the Micra? 😁

It is great, takes away most dirt that would otherwise be really hard to remove without scratching the paintwork. Polishing will be a topic for another video… I wish I had more time to work on my cars… Would be good to get the Micra running and moving before the winter!
