Just ordered a Mach 4 SL (the 106/115mm travel version) for my wife. I love the blue but she chose sea foam green (partly because I have a Ripley in a similar blue and we don't want to be twinsies). We went with XTR and some carbon upgrades (cranks, stem, seat, and a super light carbon wheel set from Salt Cycles in Utah). And the OneUp dropper post, which I've been using and am totally stoked on. SUPER psyched for the bike, it'll be tough to wait a few weeks for delivery! I'm not due for a new bike any time soon and I love my Ripley even after owning it for 2 years, but I have to admit I'm more than a little jealous. It'll be on the small side for me but I'm sure as heck going to steal it for a ride!
The bike looks awesome. One of my dream bikes possibly one day. The trail looks like a blast. Keep doing what you guys do and keep up the awesome adventures.
I think for the way you two ride Fast Trak T7/T5 front and T5 rear would be the right move. Or Ground Control T7 front and Renegade T5 rear. Adds a layer of grip without loosing too much speed.
@@moandhannahtravel Nice. I looked at the drop bar bike and it has T7 Fastrak Control 2.2 f+r. Grid casing is their tougher casing, which is overkill for old school xc in the desert.
I am wary of racks that are sticking out on one side more than the other(especially on the right side). Had someone's bike on the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 and because the bike(size Med Intense) and its' rear wheel stuck out to the right(like the one on your van), she opened the door as I was driving by and slammed the bike(her own bike I was taking to fix mind you) with her door swinging out. The bike stuck out at most 8" but because it was unexpectedly back behind the car, it took longer for the rest of the trailing protrusion to pass by. Caused damage to bike wheel and door. Luckily no one was injured but I could imagine what if this was a kid closer to the door, a person popping out etc
It’s kind of an optical illusion but it doesn’t stick out too much and definitely not past our mirrors. We definitely would not do that if it wasn’t so high up but yes good to keep in mind!!!
The pivots are some of our favorite!! Hannah falls right in between sizing on almost every bike out there but she tends to size down! She’s 5’8 on the medium and loves it!
@@moandhannahtravel My wife is 5'5" and falls between the medium and small, we went with a 35mm stem on the medium, but not too late to change our minds on that. Most likely she'll end up riding more with the shock in the 106mm travel position to make for a slightly tighter riding position. We went back and forth before deciding on this. The standover is low so it won't be so much a problem there, but more an issue of the longer frame being a bit less snappy handling than the small (but the small may be a little too snappy/skittish on rocky trails). Hannah (and Mo), what's your take on this? I'm still a little nervous about it...
You know I really would’ve been disappointed if that was your raptor. I always thought of you as a more sensible person. You and Hunter are great man. It’s not the truck for you. You need you need you got man you got everything you need a vehicle that you drive, maybe a small economical car would be the way to get around but come on$100,000 truck what a waste😮

Used to ride fixies with Jason back in the early 2000's. He's still such a humble dude whenever I bump into him.
Jason is awesome!!!
I like Hannah's Pivot. Slack and short travel, a nice combination. I even love the baby blue color. Nice!

Thank you so much!!!
Love your channel!! Always fun and interesting and inspiring!! Happy riding!!
Thanks so much!!!!
Looks so fun! Would be curious to hear more specific details on her M4SL build. Hopefully that’s coming in the long term review. :)
I would love to see Hannah put up or take down a bike off that bike rack😂. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy the ride
Nice bike Hanna and awesome trail
Thank you!!!

That’s an awesome combo! We will check it out!

The Raptor joke never gets old : )

Here you go! alnk.to/3J66ccn
I love that trail. It’s just far for me to get to. It does look too overgrown yet.
It’s doing so good!!!
fun times you 2!
Thank you!!!
Sounds like haters don't Mo to get the raptor....get the raptor Mo 🍻.
I want Hannah to race!
If the chance ever presents itself to get a Raptor, you get the Raptor.
Mo, the raptor is a 4cyl trash can
Is the pivot mach 4 sl a chick bike?
Pivot: “Best Bikes in the World”. Hannah’s does look a little small?

@@moandhannahtravel Cool she’s Purty. You should Marry her again.
