hello i had a question i have a 2016 mazda 3 and the wrench light came on for the first 1 the 1 that says scheduled maintenance it came on about a month ago but idk what that means , my car doesn’t need a oil change yet because i still have a good amount of miles and it doesn’t need a tire rotation because i had just done that like a week before that light came on so what does that scheduled maintenance mean and can i reset it for now or do i wait till i do my oil change mid of this month if anyone can help out i would appreciate it thank you
I have a 2018 Mazda 3 sport 2.0, When I go into the screen for my services there isn't any warning lights on for oi change, tire rotation and such, I had a oil change 2 weeks ago now and the light was off and it just came on 2 days ago, What do you suggest I should do, should I go back to the dealer.
What does the maintenance schedule mean? Or do? When it pops up what do I have to do to the car any oil change? Or do I just reset it and the car will be fine? I’m new to Mazda and this popped up and i don’t know what to do any help from anyone?
Not sure if you ever found a response, but it’s literally just a reminder to do your maintenance every x amount of miles. Things like oil change, tired rotation, etc.
@@Kurotama11 Volvo is one manufaturer that no longer supports the theory of tyre rotation. They say is far better to replace each axle independently as & when required. It is sometime since I read the article, but I agreed with their logic at the time. It made sense what they were saying. For example, some tyres have a specific forward rotation: If you swap it to the other side as per "normal tyre rotation measures"...the rotation will be reversed! And you cant just rotate the tyre on the rim: Many now have a dedicated "Outer & inner" side to them. (Momo Tyres for example.) At the end of the day....replacing two at a time makes more economic sense, I feel.
@@patagualianmostly7437 depends on the type of tire, your car, your road condition, etc….cause think about this. If you ride every day with no passenger, your driver side tire will obviously be more worn than your passenger side, as more weight is being put on it. If you drive a truck with things always in the bed, your back tires will probably have more wear. Rotating the tires is mostly about evening the wear on them, even if you do still replace them two at a time. Directional tires are the main ones I’ve seen with a dedicated inner and outer side, because they’re quite literally designed with the direction of rotation in mind.
Loved this video. It helped me to understand what the maintenance symbol meant.

Just reset it yourself as per the above video. It has come on after the timed interval.
You merely changed your oil 2 weeks early.
(Edit for typo.)
Thanks
Tks so much
