I get the big "low pressure" red oil warning light, as a warning to change oil. Every time it's changed, code cleared, no more low pressure warning. It's an over sensitive oil sensor. Basically more short runs cuts more fuel into oil system. Change it every 6 months it'll be fine

I think you’ll find it’s the oil pump strainer that’s blocked with carbon deposits. The sensor resets when you stop and start the car again, don’t neglect this, can cause catastrophic failure if left untreated. Perform a full decarbonisation of the intake system, change and reseat the injector seals and change the oil pump screen behind the sump cover! Just had to do it to mine, carbon deposits clogged the pump screen!

@@WoWhacka mine goes away after an oil change / code reset. Doesn't come back. Ie diesel cut fuel sets off the sensor.
