It would be beautiful to see Georgia get the same kind of support from the US and UK so that a second front can get opened against Russia.

Russia has real genuine problems trying to defend Crimea until they get that bridge back to full capacity. Trying to supply Crimea via sea is a great way to have your ships sunk. Currently except for the limited supply possible across the bridge, Crimea is at the end of a hundreds of kilometers supply line through the Donbas. Any significant advance by the Ukrainians would put the existing supply lines in HIMARS territory.

Very interesting interview. He’s a cautiously optimistic man. Brings me a lot of hope.

The issue with the Russian Orthodox Church is that it split in Ukraine in 2018 and there is now a Ukrainian Orthodox Church and the original church which recognises the Patriarch in Moscow. That Patriarch is close to Putin and shares his ideal of uniting the Rus peoples. So unsurprisingly the armed forces of Ukraine regard the churches and monasteries within the country wo owe allegiance to the church in Moscow as less than loyal.

And it will. Chechnya, Dagestan, Tatarstan around 80 parts of Russia are truly independent states that are temporary occupied by Kremlin. All of them just hate ethnic Russians but have no weapons to fight. People in those place understand that they are used by Kremlin and Russians to invade other countries

That bridge in Crimea has to go. It should be the number one target to hit again.

Russia is not the USSR. The Warsaw Pact, which stood against NATO in the Cold War, included many Eastern and Central European countries, and the Soviet Union itself included Ukraine and several other now independent republics. Russia's strength alone is much weaker than that of the Warsaw Pact or the Soviet Union. Throughout history, in any previous European conflict, Russia must join forces with Britain and/or France in Western Europe to be able to stand against the Central Europe power led by Germany. Russia on its own has never been even close to confronting the whole of Europe. What's more, other powerful nations such as the United States, Canada and Australia also stand behind Ukraine. The outcome of Russia's war of aggression, which is self-defeating, can only be a dead end.

Why does everyone think the fighting will slow down in Ukraine. Do you not think Ukraine has looked at what the Finns did in the Winter war against Russia. The Finns were far more worse off at the beginning of that war than the Ukrainians. If the Ukrainians really want to drive out the Russian, slowing down is not an option. A Change in fighting tactics absolutely, I believe the Russian are going to be in for an absolutely horrible winter in Ukraine. The weather and the general Ukrainian population are not going to be friendly to Russia. Russia will be attacked from virtually every possible angle, Russian Troops will have zero rest, Russian Supply lines will be continually destroyed.

The west at all cost must keep supporting Ukrainians , to fight like the way they are fighting with absolute determination you have to in good conscience help the Ukrainians carry on and give them the means to succeed in regaining there country.
