The MAM-07 Grublo (Thunderbolt)

- The Grublo is an underwater mobile armor used by Zeon. It can deploy a pair of arms for combat, and they are retracted for storage when the the machine is in cruise mode. Its armament consisted of a large plasma cannon in its "mouth" section, two arm-mounted plasma cannons, and 24 torpedo launchers on the upper section of the mobile armor. A Grublo, belonging to the Kaufmann team, engaged the RX-78AL Atlas Gundam near the oceans surrounding Antarctica to stop it from pursuing the Zeon remnants' Mad Angler-class submarine.
It went off to explore the Titanic
Damn it, now I wonder if a kit exists so someone can paint it like that fucking sub...
It's a variant, the MAM-07OG Grublo Ocean Gate.
The Grublo lost because the XBox controller used to pilot it malfunctioned.
Except it could withstand the water pressure
@@sleightlyabnormal9313 I mean... to a point, as we saw.
At least the pilot died of the bean sword than the decompression. Either ways both types of deaths are a horrible way to go.
At least being vaporized by a beam saber is quick.
Being slowly squashed by crumpling metal Iok Kujan style is worse.
it seems every One Year War MS and MA in Thunderbolt got the "on steroids" redesigns as in they look meaner than derp especially the amphibious MS like the Gogg and Zock.
Acdude.
Me under pressure be like 0:54
Not built to sustain such depth
It still wouldn't of crushed like that, but its a cool effect@@commandermaverick1487
😂
Very relatable.
この機体のパイロットがコックピット内に野球選手を模した人形を持ち込んでいる描写が地味に好きだった...
(多分、野球が好きだったんだろうなぁ)

Love the update designs for weird to fearsome.
Am I the one only one who wonders why they didn't put a squadron of these in the Amazon estuary?
I would assume for similar reasons as with Juggler. Wasn't finished on time.
@@nikoladedic6623 In the main timeline the classic Grabblo predates whitebase reaching Jaburo, but it possibly could be too big to go upriver. And the classic one is a lot weaker than this with no beamcannon.
@@DIEGhostfish I wouldn't even necessarily be proposing they go upriver; they could hang out in the deeper parts of the estuary, or even just off the coast. We know conventional EFSF ships not fitted with a Minovsky Craft system had to splash down and be towed upriver to reach the base, a few of these prowling around, perhaps with Gogg and submarine support, could wreck entire returning fleets. Would have taken a chunk out of the Federation's space capability, at least.
@@autofox1744 How many ships in Jaburo were landed and not built on site the way Igloo and themain series explained? I thought everything in orbit stayed in orbit guarding Luna 2.
IIRC, this thing doesnt exist in the original timeline... at least not in this form. The Grubro, it's original timeline counterpart, wasnt really as formidable as this
This might be the planned mass-production version, since it is stated that the MP version would have a mega particle cannon mounted on its nose... but was never put into production
1:00 "I Must Go, My People Need Me" *Grublo died on the way back to his planet*
The redesign of this MA is just so awesome
The cavitation around the beam blast is very cool.
We do appreciate a MA taken out the traditional way.
Always love to see some mobile armor action. Great upload.
ガンダムの脚を千切ったのが間違いだったよ。動きやすくしてくれた!
*Grublo turned into a HARO.*
0:38 Those legs aren't just for show.
見た目の割に今までビーム撃てなかったなら嬉しそうだぜ
0:53 The Zeons always mouthed off stuff about the weight of earth dragging them down. This guy certainly got it first hand.
I find it very odd that a Gundam is able to outperform an aquatic mobile armor underwater.
I thought beam sabers were ineffective underwater?
Read somewhere that Atlas Gundam (the one in the clip) is amphibious.
With beam sabers made to be usable underwater
My best guess is it worked because the saber was pressed against Globglogabgalab's hull before activating.
Yes the Atlas is an aquatic Gundam Type unit. Its armaments are meant to be deployed underwater.
This version of the Grublo is terrifying and its a shame we never see the Bigro Thunderbolt version even in the manga. please post the Shamblo!
another ace falling to a gundam 🥲
Naisu. ;-;
That isnt how decompressing works, unless im missing some lore
No, that's pretty accurate when a sub goes past its crush depth.
Slowing chipping away at the MA's structural integrity until it gives away violently like that.
It doesnt implode like subs due to it being actually armored and turns into that terrifying dense ball
