Like they should have been with Axis Zeon, the very enemy they're supposed to fight yet sided with them after the Federation disavowed them, even after their defeat and demise of Scirocco and continue antagonizing the AEUG and Judau's Gundam Team.
Blue Cosmos are like the Titans of Cosmic Era universe in a nutshell. They're both massive military organizations with massive hatred with those they don't like: Spacenoids and Coordinators, and they do stupid evil things for kicks. And now they're reduced to mere remnants who were whittled down constantly.
They did cut off from the Earth Alliance and took whatever they could from them. The EA must've only had a handful of 105 Daggers and Windams with some Jet Strikers, and what I think it is a large abundance of the old Strike Dagger's beam riffle and shield, and some Destroy Gundams that are either fully functional or in disrepair.

Also since the Atlantic Federation is a shell of what it used to be and Blue Cosmos's main supplier were the Atlantic Federation they could only get their hands on 105 Daggers with no Striker packs plus some Windams with the Jet Striker pack. Blue Cosmos probably have very small number of Destroy Gundams left in their armory which is why they don't deploy it that much.
105 Dagger are the previous model of Strike Dagger before the Dagger L which makes it more easier to acquire from the Atlantic Federation since if the Atlantic Federation start supplying Dagger L to Blue Cosmos the Pacific Federation, who are in charge of the entire Earth Alliance now, would notice and would intervene as the Dagger L is still in service.

If the Earth Alliance starts throwing nukes at ground forces? Well, the faction in question is more than willing to LARP the Mobile Infantry from the book version of _Starship Troopers_ and vibe in the same environment as Bolo-verse and OGRE.
I'm sure that's part of the plan, so that they can claim to be international and not actively say they are from some evil organization, pretty standard thing in false flag operations.
Looks like absolutely everybody agreed the Windam was a mistake. Rare to see an intended successor unit so thoroughly overshadowed by the ostensibly obsolete unit it's meant to replace (although there's real-world precedent, like the british Fairey Albacore which went out of service before the Swordfish it was supposed to be an upgrade over...)

In this Gundam Seed Movie the Earth Alliance and ZAFT are now at Peace Terms, and the feddie looking suit/Daggers that you see belongs to the Blue Cosmos/Logos Remnants, the C.E equivalent of the Titans. And the Gundams that assisted ZAFT belongs to COMPASS, kinda the equivalent of AEUG/Londo Bell

The star wars noises are distracting. Though it wouldn't be the first time SEED had some SW inspiration. Just look at the showdown between Durandal and Kira in Destiny. That room looked exactly like the one in ROTJ right down to the chair.

@@Fulcrox Destroy Gundam is only effective when Blue Cosmos had those Extended like Stella Louisser piloting it but they, a shadow of themselves - cut off from unlimited funding and resources they once enjoyed and wasted, don't have the luxury to create any more Extended and had use one of their regular fanatical grunt to pilot the Destroy Gundam which didn't go well after we see it beaten one-sided.
I wouldn't say massacred as the original Gyan wasn't that great of a mobile suit. All it have was a shield that shoot missiles and a beam saber. The Gyan Strom comes with a beam axe, beam saber, beam saw shield, two triple barrel beam Gatling guns, heat rod, beam rifle, and the compatibility to be equipped with Wizard packs.

歩兵としてのポジションがいいな。ライフル撃ちながら進撃するシーンが。ただやられるだけでなくシールドでガードしたりサーベルで斬りかかるもあって。ジンはもちろんムラサメ改も撃破してるしエースパイロットの攻撃を一回だけでも防いでるし。
映画の時系列でも105ダガーは高性能な機体。ウィンダムほどではないが。

I hate this movie and greatly dislike Destiny, but SEED and Stargazer were both quite enjoyable to watch imo.
