- A Jegan variant deployed exclusively by the General Revil, the Jegan Type-A2 (GR) is designed with better overall performance. It has undergone significant renovation, particularly the enhancement of its propulsion system's output and the addition of more thrusters on its legs and backpack, leading to better mobility. It uses the same weaponry as the original Jegan, but has a new shield with two 4-tube missile launchers built in and a vulcan pod system with added sensor unit.

I like how Full Frontal and Angelo were obviously toying with the Jegans and making sure they knew it.

In all thing consider, the first half of the video, the pilots were super lucky that Full Frontal and Angelo were showing mercy at them (damaged the MS but not causing it to explode and killing em)!

They would kill them if there is no other choice they just basically have morals that if an enemy cant fight anymore no need to kill them
@@ExiaAvalancheMkIIyes they would kill them no problem. They didn't have morals in this case. They were sparing their lives to avoid unnecessarily angering Banagher.
It was just to keep heads cool so they could better convince him of their terms later on.
@@elopsmiiformis5131base jabbers can be remotely piloted as well as manned. More than likely these were remotely piloted by the suit pilots. But there is always the chance they were manned as well

Man, anything General Revil (the ship) is depressing. At least the last few seconds gives them some redemption.
To be fair...The real General Revil probably would not approve of that ship. He would much rather a Pegasus-class ship get named after him (since Revil loved and supported the Pegasus class). Not some super mega huge ship that was a Titan's design.

I hate how shit every scene with grunts is, I understand that yes they might not be amazing pilots. But how the tf do they just get bodied so hard and none can even hit or do okay against the main villain or anyone with a name. It’s an annoying trope I see with media in general but it’s the grunts who have been holding off the opposing sides army not just one or 2 gundams.

I agree, the GM/Federation mass production mobile suit cannon fodder trope has been painfully overdone in recent Gundam UC titles, especially in Gundam Unicorn, Gundam Narrative and Gundam Thunderbolt. There are lots of nice Federation models but they keep getting killed off for the "cool ace pilot moments".......
@@KrimsonWatcher to add to this point, it's so jarring when people say "oh the reason why they're getting bodied is because of skill issue" as if having a vastly superior fighting vehicle doesn't help you in the slightest with giving you a major advantage over your opponent.
In real life, a group of Iranian rookies with F14s manage to take down several Iraqi seasoned pilots in MiG-23s without losing any of their own because their radar missiles were so good that they could sling it towards their opposition accurately from beyond visual range.
the fedy aces do shine a lot more than the zeon ones when they do show up with the gm iii with the beam lance and the stark jegan. i dont think the efreet schneid during the desert attack gets recognized nearly as much considering hes a former gundam pilot
Yes, same here. The Federation MS, despite the cooler looking ones, always gets destroyed on screen and never allowed a Zeon kill, except in some specific situations! 😅

whats interesting is that these Jegans have their Gundam F91 era shields which sucked more when fighting against the Crossbone Vanguard with their newer Beam Shield technology.

I find it weird that Full Frontal and Angelo in this clip didn't kill a single Jegan. Angelo can easily wipe out all those Jegan, but only aim for the legs and arms. Same can be said about Full Frontal who only go for the headshots which is not a kill shot for mobile suits. Then there's the last scene where the Jegan were fighting Neo Zeong mark 2 where all of them got wiped out.
If you watched Unicorn, they did this specifically to win over Banagher and make him work alongside them- otherwise they would have had zero qualms with murdering the Jegans, just like they had done to the ReZels in the first few episodes

In the clips from Unicorn, the animation is so nice with detailed destruction and then you get to Narrative, a theatrical movie, and they just explode with very little detail like a budget show
I've read in the Gundam wiki that this variant is for the ACE'S use.
I just realised these are almost the exact same jegan designs as the f91 jegans 😅 are these like the early types of the prime jegans from f91 😅 they also got destroyed like the their f91 brothers

UC0096の時には袖付きのMSだけど、被弾時にはエアバックが作動してたし

一年戦争期はわりと配線直結が多かったから、頭部破壊から過電流なんかで、コクピットで爆発が多かった
しかし一年戦争以後では過電流対策が取られ、頭部が破壊されてもコクピットで爆発が起きなくなったのと、コクピット自体が脱出ポッドの役割を持つようになったから、分離しやすくなったので、生存率が大きく上がってます

スラスター出力、ジェネレーター出力の強化、楯の大型化と強度向上、装甲材の強化と細かいながらもＡ型に比べて大幅な強化を施された機体
しかしその分、コストが非常に高く、Ｄ型に比べて少数生産に留まり、確認されたのはゼネラル・レビル配備機のみ
連邦側は３体１の複数で囲む戦法を基本として、ネオ・ジオン側は単機での機動戦を重視してる。連邦とジオンでのMS戦術の違いが分かる見事なシーン
（太平洋戦争の米軍が連邦で、日本がジオンみたいな感じで描いたのかな）
