Finally I am able to bring to you, the elusive stage 1 of a 2021 Harley Davidson in the UK/Europe!

Hi, i enquired about slip ons and then the pipes you have on for my 2021 fatbob, euro 5, the supplying Harley dealer say the have a work around, they don't fit a tuner but do some sort of download for stage 1, they said it would not effect warranty & the bike would run fine, guess i'll find out in a couple of weeks.
Brilliant- this has given me the re assurance to complete my own stage one with John Lilley who I know to be a “ top gun” equivalent in the Harley motorbike service business👍 Looking forward to more vids John. Thanks for sharing. A much needed informative clip for anyone in Northern ireland 😁

Hi, so what tuner are you using isit Screaming Eagle or FP3/4, hoping to get something done on my uk 2021 fatbob. Cheers
Hi pal…so I don’t have a tuner in place, but have flashed the ECU with Diag4Bike software as tuners were not available. Led to believe the FP3 will not work with 2021- present models. Perhaps the Fp4 will? I am not sure.
I stayed away from screaming eagle personal preference. What pipes you going for?
@Flex & Freedom , Hi there, was initially just going with slip ons either vance and hines, s and s or rhineharts, not too sure, once warranty out probably a 2 into 1 .

How much did stage 1 cost in NI? Also does it eliminate the o2 senors issue (euro 5 regulations) so you can change out the exhaust?
Hi mate - really depends on what you include as part of the stage 1 really (pipes/air intake).
The software is reasonably affordable and easily done though! £1600 all in for mine including V&H big shots and arlen ness monster sucker!

@@robio1982 No, I got a Diag4Bike ECU map installed and the bike is running perfectly! :)
I have my own 2020 Softail standard, I appreciate seeing your journey with it. Since I share your mod interests. There is not much content for it. Lookin good brotha!

No engine light didn’t get activated as rear o2 sensor is “deleted” as an input!

Now that you've had the bike for a bit of time, just wondering if you've noticed a significant difference (decrease) in your MPG?
Nice bike...Way to go!
There’s a slight decrease but I wouldn’t say it’s significant at all, especially when you consider the feel good factor from the extra rumble from the pipes and that little bit of extra power when you twist the throttle 🤙
now that the airways are less restrictive a torque cam will let more air into the motor ,, this should make a fair difference .
Is always nice getting the mods done.

I have the same bike, with same exhaust, only difference, from Dean Speed Customs, have one of their sissy bars, handle bars , and a 2 inch tank rise, my dream bike

do you know the difference between a 2021 and a 2020 , mines 21 reg but I suspect its a 2020 production, looking good though fella

In terms of difference, depends on the regulations in your area i.e in Northern Ireland/UK 2021 models and onwards are manufactured to comply with E5 laws in relation to emissions, but 2021 and previous only needed to comply with E4, where the rules are less stringent. Would imagine specification/performance wise there is very little if not, zero, difference.

If it is not Euro 5 compliant will it not fail an MOT?
Hey rich! Good question, that would mean any bike pre 2021 would technically fail MOT if that where the case as it is only 21 models onwards that are Euro 5 compliant from factory….
It seems to be a restriction implemented on bike suppliers rather than the consumer itself , as far as I am aware there is no follow up at present to check if the bikes are still compliant with Euro 5 after leaving the factory, our local centres do not check emissions but no doubt this could change in the near future
Luckily our local dealer now offers a stage 1 package on 21 and 22 models that as far as I am aware runs with the euro 5 rear sensors still in place

Just doesn’t seem to be worth it just to make it sound louder. I’ve got a 22 standard and unless there was a performance upgrade it’s just doesn’t seem worth it for what you have to pay.

Huge difference, sounds so tame pre-stage 1 😂 Yeah now that you mention it I think so too but haven't had too many spins on the bike yet so must pay close attention. Thank you pal, very much appreciated and thanks for watching! 😀
