i just picked up a 97 international 4700 cab and chassis that was a tv station communication truck that spent its life parked inside. Not bad for 30k 199,000 miles 5speed spicer DT466 Im starting a hauling and transport company with a diesel dually too.
Do you have this listed on market place? ITS GORGEOUS! I hope you get what your looking for on it. Wishing it had a stick, and that I had the cash cause that’s a BMF right there!
Hi thanks for the video. I was just wondering if you did your own paint. I’ve been working on the same truck for about a year. I have a 2002 4700LP crew cab with a 2011 GMC Sierra dually bed. Currently the cab is yellow and the bed is black. I’m doing as much of my own work as I can, but I can’t paint the beast and it seems like a tough vehicle to walk into a body shop and start talking paint jobs.
I just bought a 4700LP for a project. I know the LP stands for low profile, but I'm trying to find out what is different about the LP? Is it just a bit lower? The oil pan does seem a closer to the ground than I would expect for a truck that size.
Beautiful truck
I've watched this repeatedly and its great every time. I like both the brown/tan version and the black version of the truck.
Lol my buddy owned that truck when it was tan. He mounted those stacks

I had a body shop paint it, they were a very cost effective option.

nice
Where did you get the front and rear matching seats?
What mirrors did you use?
Motorhome mirrors that are lighted
Anybody make a lift kit for a beast like that?
Not sure, but great idea!
As far as I know, you switch out the springs and front axle with a regular 4700.
