You did an absolutely amazing transformation of this 466. Thank God who you got it from didn't abuse the h+ll out of it. And I know 1st hand the pull of a 466. I drove a rollback for awhile that was set up the same as yours. Crew cab with a six speed. She would out pull the Fords & Chevy's that were 6 to 10 yrs newer that they were switching to. But I wouldn't give up my International. Love the work, it's a masterpiece. And you could possibly do pretty well doing transformations like this for ppl.
I am currently building a 95 4700 crew cab that also came from Covington TN Chuck Baskin great truck came from Mempis public works you have done a great job looks great
I let one like it slip by. I have an 86 F250 with a 6.9 diesel in it that I tried to trade for it. I thought I had it traded for but someone had cash and paid him. But I love that DT 466 engine. They're probably peppy in a pickup truck mode but they shine pulling heavy loads around town pulling a 48 or 53 . They also seem to last forever as well.
Beautiful, lovely transformation. Stuff made of dreams, I am working on an e350 camper van with the international 7.3 PS that I hope to restore and make a shining beauty like yours. Thanks for sharing hope you do more of these in the future!
Yesterday I bought an 1986 International S1900 four door Cab and chassis. I was looking for Ideas and I love the box concept it really looks sweet. I got a old '04 ford dually box I may go that direction instead of flat bed. love the color too.
Great build I would have gone with a ford bed but that’s just me. Also one more thing I would have put the bed up another 2 inches just rise it up a lil other than that awesome truck
Thanks for the video that's what am going too do with my over the road truck that i have sitting and dont haul freight any more thanks to all of the new CDL. Laws But there a Up Side i Got The Truck Brand New and Know It Right !! Thanks for the Great Idea !!!
I just bought a 2002 International 4700 LP to do the same conversion. I had been contemplating a Ford Super Duty bed, but after watching this video I’m thinking that Ram bed looks pretty sharp and might be a better alternative. Great truck there.
Steven Plumley, the reason I went with the international 4700 instead of the 4900 as shown in the video is because even though they are the same body style, you can find 4700’s that are under the cdl weight rating and without air brakes.
I’m doing this to a 2010 Durastar. When shortening the frame did you have cut the driveshaft or were you able to just remove the intermediate shaft? I haven’t picked up the bed yet and I’m trying to figure that out.
Nice!! Looking at a 2015 International 4300. (old Penske moving truck) to do the same thing with. Only question is cutting out the frame. Any special requirements for cutting and rewelding? thanks
Wow, that is a nice transformation. I got a 98 International 4700 crew cab I am making into a farm tow rig. Lots of inspiration here. Did the lightening of the springs help much on the ride?
This is amazing 👍👍👍 great job on both the build as well as the documenting and presenting it ... Sweet and Simple 👍👍👍 how long did this process take from buying it to pulling the trailer with it and do you still have it and if so does it still run and doing okay ???
Great job man. I am currently customizing my 1964 Mack B61. I had some frame questions for you as I'm planning on chopping and connecting a much newer rear frame. Can I email you? Thanks
Try a newer Ram dually long box. And if you want to keep it 10ft, take it to a custom fabrication shop and have the fabricate and extra 2ft. That is, if you havent already done this.

Thank you for sharing this awesome build! Without the usual annoying music & commentary most other videos have. You and your work are 1st Class.
Nice job. I hope you enjoy the fruits of your labor.
An International truck with a Dodge pickup bed, wow that is something. 🚛😎👍
I am currently building a 95 4700 crew cab that also came from Covington TN Chuck Baskin great truck came from Mempis public works you have done a great job looks great
Me too. A 2000 4700 crew cab. From Skip Baskin.

Absolutely beautiful old binder, I'm in the process of building one of my own , I hope it turns out as nice.
Absolutely beautiful. The bed being lower than the cab would drive me crazy but you built one and I didn’t. Looks great.
Nice Truck conversion, it just proves that sometimes you just need a bigger hammer to get the job done.

That is one of the best make overs I've ever seen Done 👍👍👍😎

I love it. I plan on doing this one day.
That my friends is a blue collar American hero! Love this truck!
nice job!!!! I love that it has a Dt466 instead of 444
Yeah right, that 444 wasn't worth it's weight in Politician sh#t.😆
Wow.....,you invested a lot of effort....wonderful result .....congratulations.....
Great build I would have gone with a ford bed but that’s just me. Also one more thing I would have put the bed up another 2 inches just rise it up a lil other than that awesome truck
Couldn’t really move it up without it NOT being centered over the rear wheels ?
Well I mean look at body lifts for truck they do that take the bed and lift it up off the frame
You could lift the bed up using angle iron or square tubing across the frame. Thats how my bed is raised to match my cab on my Topkick
@@TeamTopKick noice
This thing is awesome. If you still have it can you do a video of driving it around?
how did the 4.10's effect the trucks performance and fuel mileage compared to stock? or did it come with the 4.10 gearing?
Thanks for the video that's what am going too do with my over the road truck that i have sitting and dont haul freight any more thanks to all of the new CDL. Laws But there a Up Side i Got The Truck Brand New and Know It Right !! Thanks for the Great Idea !!!

Help me out. Do I still need a cdl to drive something like this?

Awesome job
when u lightened up the leaf suspension which bars did you take out and how many and did you do that to the front and back
That is awsom👍
Beautiful!!!
My dream truck. One day. :)

That is so cool well designed everything looks in proportion and match excellent. How much for it?
Nice!! Looking at a 2015 International 4300. (old Penske moving truck) to do the same thing with. Only question is cutting out the frame. Any special requirements for cutting and rewelding? thanks
right on brother
Any performance mods done to it?
Totally slick.

Fine Job sir

How much to build something like that. would you sell it.
Greatly designed pickup truck
Love the rebuild! About how much did this rebuild cost? Looking to purchase a similar one.
Great job man. I am currently customizing my 1964 Mack B61. I had some frame questions for you as I'm planning on chopping and connecting a much newer rear frame. Can I email you? Thanks
Hell yeah trucks are built not made Great job
Very nice.
I love it
Cool!
What do you pull I see that mini looks like a u. Very nice job on the truck.
Nice!!
Cool 😎 vehicle.
it came out really nice, I'm getting ready to the same thing and I was wondering what do you get for fuel milage?
Not better than a Prius sorry.
If you're worried about fuel mileage then stick with little trucks!
I have a 2004 international 4300 with a 10 ft chassis! what bed would fit? please help
Try a newer Ram dually long box. And if you want to keep it 10ft, take it to a custom fabrication shop and have the fabricate and extra 2ft.
That is, if you havent already done this.
Nice, 👍
Did that with a KS7 and used a 1967 Chevrolet truck long bed.
Looks like the new gladiator
Bad A$$$$$!!! Got my new project
What kind of transmission?
Is this truck for sale? Where and how much?
Wow 👌
I just built one but I need to lighten up the rear suspension leaf springs what did you end up doing?
ua-cam.com/video/rQHn8RhXmv0/v-deo.html
