I loved the posture cues in this video-when to sit tall, when to look left in a twist etc. More short yin sequences please! 🙏🏼

Yin is my favorite variation of yoga. I like holding things until the big muscle relaxes and then the connective tissue at each end also relaxes. It helps me calm my nervous system too which is good for my mental health. I love short practices like this too where I can focus on just a couple of poses for a specific area. I learn and remember poses better this way too. Thank you again.

Good morning! I'm not sure I figured out the first pose though ;) Can you explain it just a little more in the comments? Wasn't sure where my arms & hands were supposed to be - thanks!
Hi ! If you listen to explanation I tell you how to place the hands and the arms already so I'm not sure what I can add on that would be helpful, is there a specific aspect you were confused by?
I have trouble getting out of puppy pose. I assume weakness in shoulders?
It could be! The upper back or abs could also be common culprits. A great practice to try for this would be my backbends for total beginners 10 min class to see if that can help you narrow it down! It's this one here : ua-cam.com/video/YAo6v-674uI/v-deo.html
