What I appreciate about Emmet so much is that he is always original in his playing - he’s a musician’s musician!
This set was a pure joy to hear and watch how the musicians clearly and thoroughly enjoyed playing with each other as they gave each other room to stretch their vocabulary in their conversation with each other.
Buster Williams and Lenny White are still amazing to listen and watch weave and bob in and out of that conversation! Excellent Set! So glad there is an Emmet’s Place” - it’s an absolute playground for musicians!!!! 😊
