Mr Tate, love learning how to rebind with your videos. Two questions:
1. Does the edge around the leather, after folding, have to be stitched to hold well?
2. How is the inside liner chosen, can you use two pieces of the same leather (outside/liner) or does that make the cover too thick? Having trouble shopping for liner leather.

At 1:40 you mention attaching material to the spine for the tabs - what material do you use?

At that time I was using medical gauze primarily as the material I would wrap the spine of the book block. I don't use that technique anymore because I primarily use an Oxford Hollow, or Oxford Tube, now.

If the book block is in rough shape and doesn’t have paper that is attached very well on very front and very back how do you glue the cover to it?

Hello Mr. Tate, Do you also change out paste down liners for leather or synthetic edge lined liners? I have a few Holman Cowhide Bible that I really like, but they are paste down liners. If you do, how much would you charge? Thank you
