In this guitar lesson you'll learn how to play a simple surf style lead on electric guitar (although this can also be done on acoustic guitar). This is a great lesson for practicing alternate picking with your right hand.

Hey Brian.. Good stuff here! This is the style music that 1st caught my attention to want to play the Guitar, .. one of my early tunes was Apache by Jorgan Ingmann.. I basically learned it on my own without the music by playing/learning it piece by piece off a 45 RPM record. It wasn't an easy task, but I did finally learn somewhat. .. You and your lessons make thngs like learning these tunes and others so much easier than what I had to do in my early days of learning to play the guitar .. wishes can't change the times, so all I can do now is appreciate the present and focus/practice/learn the music you have for us/your students.
Your wide repetoire in your music/tunes is Great!. never thought I would be learning/playing these type of tunes from you, but happy about them and looking forward to more .. just keep on what U R doing becuase I like it and think there R many others that agree with me .. just going to get back to my playin/learnin now .. Thank you Brian, I am trying to get my head around when to barre vs open... wouldn't it be easier to play on stage by staying on the 5th fret and just moving up a string?
