the correct term for these are "canards" - a horizontal stabilizing/control surface to control air flow (originally used on aircraft) the newer bikes have proven results to reduce drag and increase downforce at certain speeds in wind tunnel testing.. since these are just "stuck on" without any measurement as to WHERE, im sure they're not actually benefitting this bike (probably causing turbulence, in fact)
Quite funny. I think GP bikes have become so ugly since all the aero mods. And now new bikes have useless aero wings on them. And there are even people putting wings on classic bikes. :') Complaining about the perfectly sized R1 tail. Just buy a modern bike already.
I watched your video of buying this R1 and talking about the dislikes of tacky sh i t and what people do to their bikes etc and then you just go and butcher a classic with those stupid things. Unsubscribed.

Why feel the need to add little plastic moustaches to an incredible legend that is the R1 , and you mentioned that anodised parts were tacky ?
Yes I'm aware they might be tacky but I cant help liking them! Bright colour anodised parts are horrific. Even more than chrome plated

How to add weight.
All that bike Needs is a good pair of frame sliders, as those tacky pieces of plastic will not save your fairing when you drop it!
