I have nine bikes. I ride 5 all the time. I have the same bike but in blue.

I would of loved a blue one but I do like it in red

@@riderjapan1731 the red one is rare. So, yours is a great find. Love the channel. Keep it up. :)

Yo. I reckon the ideal number of bikes is 4. I keep revising this up but you need 1) road 2) off-road 3) track, and 4) a PROJECT. I have a ‘99 R1 as my number 4. It’s currently running on 1 cylinder but I will spend some time in the garage this winter and get it right. Thanks for the content. I share your enthusiasm for bikes/cars/whatever with less modes/assistance/etc

Sounds good to me. Id love a supermoto type bike for wheelies, a triumph rocket to customise, my R1 for everyday travel and my FJ12 is the project.

I have a 2001 r1 . Im 6'7" and its so comfortable and even with my big arse on it ,it goes like a train! Rode it 400 miles in 24 hrs and could have rode 400 more!

Eerste versie R1s zijn 2 tot 3 keer zo duur als de generatie daarna.

I currently drive a Suzuki 1999 GSX 750F. And i seriously consider buying one like yours. Do you have any tips or something I need to look out for? Typical failures or anything like that?

Don't buy rn01 and rn04 buy atleast rn09. The liners crack on the early r1s

Hey, play Ride 5 with all this assists off and tell me how close it is. It has me wanting this specific R1. On too much power, this has 149, not like the new ones. I think 149 is perfect.

I have the same bike, got it because of your videos. How often do you have to fill up your tires? Thanks

Great! Glad the videos were an inspiration. Its a great bike but treat it with respect. Tyre pressures dont change much but if the bike isnt used for a week or more i just made it a habbit to push my thumb in to the tyre and see how it feels before riding it. Cold weather may lower the pressures also. Filling with nitrogen helps keeps pressures stable I was told

@@riderjapan1731 great thanks for the reply! I've had it for 6 months now, really amazing bike, I ride it in London. I thought I was going crazy, just like you I feel a huge difference whenever the psi drops even a little bit. Doesn't help with all the potholes here. Looking forward to the next videos

Anyone with one of these in the UK, E5 fuel only that E10 will wreak havoc on the seals in the carbs
