Shauna Ferguson, YAY!!!! Thanks so much for commenting and letting me know they were a hit! I'm so happy!! I do my best to keep my recipes simple but flavorful and quick! I have a chicken recipe that is very similar you might want to try. Have fun and thanks!! Debra :-)
Great recipe, great taste. I changed it up a little the second time I cooked it. At the end I took out the pork, threw a few cups of hot water in, turned on sauté and brought it to a boil. Threw in some 3 minute chow mien noodles and boiled em till cooked and used that as the side. It was great
My mother and I tonight tried your recipe today in the instant pot. We walked through the entire steps. The finish pork chops were so juicy tender and the gravy made with the left over juice for the mash potatoes was so delicious. We definitely will be using this recipe again. This was the first time my mom used her instant pot and I bought it for early this year 2019. Looking forward to trying more of your recipes.
I measure the success of a recipe by the number of seconds that my daughter (the pickiest eater ever) requests.. So in this case I give this recipe 3 out of 3! It was delicious and when my kids want seconds and thirds.. you know it is a great recipe! Thank you!
I made these as my first recipe in my new instant pot. Wow they were fantastic! They fell apart with the fork and the taste and aroma of the spices was amazing. Thank you
That is so great!! Thank you so much for letting me know you made them and had a great dinner!! I have a similar recipe for chicken ~ you might want to check it out: ua-cam.com/video/ZAQYIaE2ijY/v-deo.html Thanks again for commenting and for the good report!! Debra :-)
Just finished eating pork chops that I did with your recipe! They are done to perfection and I did the thicker chops. I cut them into inch and a half strips and did six strips in the pot and they fit great. I set it for 11 minutes and it was perfect! I sprayed my measuring cup with Pam so the honey would slide right out and that worked perfectly! Instead of all the measuring I added 1/2 cup honey, 1/4 cup soy sauce and the garlic all together and stirred it up and it made a perfect consistency for the liquid in the insta pot.......too easy! I must tell you, you nailed this recipe, it is over the top delicious! The gravy/sauce was beyond delicious and just sweet enough! I think the entire process was 20 minutes from start to finish..........beyond easy and I will have this as one of my regular meals! It tastes like something strait from a gourmet restaurant! I am new to the insta pot but this is one of the best tasting recipes! Thank you so much for sharing!!!!
Thank you so much, Mary Lou Mulloy! I love the idea of coating the measuring cup to help the honey slide out - I'm so happy you love the recipe and that you enjoyed cooking it! Your comment brightens my day! Debra :-)

I tried this today for the first time. I didn't use bacon because I didn't have any. But it came out so good. Very tender and juicy. Thank you for the recipe!
Very good recipe. I made this tonight. The only thing that I did differently was to whisk my honey, soy sauce & garlic together in a separate bowl so I that it was already mixed when I added it to the Instant Pot. The sauce was very tasty on the chops and my mashed potatoes. Thank you for sharing!
i never cooked before, but I decided to cook a dinner for my wife. I followed your directions, and it was an amazing success. I'm posting this before thickening up the sauce for this dish after doing it for the 4th time. Great video!
Just cooked it this morning. I actually had pork chops with bone in still came out phenomenal the sauce my wife loved it. This is the third recipe of yours I've tried and they've all been great. My instapot is actually my favorite thing in the kitchen to use. Thank you
I made this recipe minus the bacon cause I didn’t have any on hand but man ohhh man were these good!!! My pork chops were frozen (2lbs) just broke them up the best i could and stuck them in there with the honey, garlic, and soy sauce for 11mins. Made some white rice with broccoli as a side and it was a hit! Even with the kids!! Keep the good recipes coming 👍🏼👍🏼
Okay. Made this tonight. Used 7 average size chops so I added more of each ingredient. Pressured for 12 minutes since I had 7 chops. After I topped the chops with sauce it was delish. Now one of my favorites. Thanks for the video.

👍🏻🤗shall try this tonight .. new to IP .. tried pork chops from another recipe they were terrible, but yours looked good. Keeping my fingers crossed it comes out better this time.
If I hadn't just made orange beef in the instant pot with the same flavor profile, I would be making my pork chops with this recipe right now! But I need to find another flavor profile for now so I can have a little change of pace. Great recipe I will be definitely using it in the future!
Normally I brine chicken and pork when preparing them on the stovetop or oven. Would you recommend this procedure when using the Instant Pot or doesn't it matter?. Thank you for this recipe. It's on my "bucket list" for my new Instant Pot.
Hi Jerry, thanks for reaching out! I think if you have a preferred way of prepping your meat, it would be fine to stick with your routine. I will say that this recipe works beautifully without the extra step, so you might give it a go as shown. But the Instant Pot is simply a tool - you are still the chef - so if you prefer to brine first, then fo for it. And happy cooking! Debra :-)
Welcome, JoeCubicle! Congrats on your new food tool! Definitely give this one a try - several comments here from folks who enjoyed this as their initiation recipe. Thanks so much for commenting!! Debra :-)
Thank you!!! for this super easy recipe!! It was delicious!! My family loved it! It was a very simple recipe with very few ingredients, which is how I like to cook. I'm not a fanatic of cooking but with recipes like this, I will cook more.
Thank you for your step-by-step instructions!! I loved watching this. I just recently bought a NuWave nutri pot and am anxious to learn how to use it! I subscribed to your channel, so the more recipes you can show with the instapot, the better. Happy Easter!!
Hi Chic1953! Thanks for subscribing! I have a lot of Instant Pot recipes on the channel and at my website (www.lastminutecook.com) so I hope you go through the oldies-but-goodies! And yes, more on the way. Happy cooking! Debra :-)
I’ve had great success doing a dry salt brine for 6-12 hours in the fridge for juicy tenderness and use an instant-read thermometer at 145 F will insure correct doneness (will rise to 155 deg. by the time you serve)
I am so happy to hear that, Camillia S! I love it when meals are approved by the kids! And I'm so glad you love your Instant Pot! Thanks so much for sharing! Debra :-)
Just made this and am loving how quick and easy this was to make. The only thing I did different was, after the 'corn starch-mix' was sauteed for 45-seconds, I returned the chops to the pot to marinate in the glaze. #YUMMY Thanks for this!!!

Made it tonight in a Mealthy 9-in-1 6 quart multipot (basically an Instant Pot) and it turned out great!! Served ours with a rice mix and the chops were tender and juicy with a beautiful golden finish on them. Thanks for the video and recipe!
As you said, "probably the best pork chop I've ever eaten"... true!!

Thank you so much for your sweet comment! 😀
Thanks so much for this yummy pork chop recipe ...made tonight and was very tasty the only change I made was to add 2 tbsp. Of hoisin sauce 😃
Hello Stacey, thank you for your comment!
Hoisin sauce and pork are a great flavor combination! Did you add the hoisin sauce in addition to the soy sauce and honey? Thanks! ~Anastacia in Cleveland
👍🏻🤗shall try this tonight .. new to IP .. tried pork chops from another recipe they were terrible, but yours looked good. Keeping my fingers crossed it comes out better this time.
I hope you like this version!
If I hadn't just made orange beef in the instant pot with the same flavor profile, I would be making my pork chops with this recipe right now! But I need to find another flavor profile for now so I can have a little change of pace. Great recipe I will be definitely using it in the future!
Thanks so much!
Tried these chops as my first meal in my new instant pot. They were great! Thanks
thank you! Just made these and they were delicious.
Debra :-)
Thank you for this I'm the cook in my house and this looks great I will be trying it soon.
Hope you enjoy these chops! :)
My family loved it. Thanks
Great to hear!
That looks so good. I would totally eat that. I just inherited an Instant Pot the other day.
Welcome, JoeCubicle! Congrats on your new food tool! Definitely give this one a try - several comments here from folks who enjoyed this as their initiation recipe. Thanks so much for commenting!! Debra :-)
It really looks good and looks like it's been browned too. Gotta make this
Thank you very much! This was the first recipe I did using my new pressure cooker. It was absolutely delicious! :)
I'm so glad, Thiago Rossi! Thank you so much for sharing your success!! Debra :-)
Wow! Trying this tonight. Thanks!
Just fixed this for dinner! Delicious, I plan on making this Instant Pot Pork Chop recipe quite often!
Yay!!!!
Thank you!!! for this super easy recipe!! It was delicious!! My family loved it! It was a very simple recipe with very few ingredients, which is how I like to cook. I'm not a fanatic of cooking but with recipes like this, I will cook more.
I'm so glad to hear!!! Thank you for the comment - happy you like this recipe!
Just made these except with bone-in pork chops and they came out so good. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!!
Thanks so much for commenting and for sharing your success with the bone-in chops!! I'm so glad you enjoyed them!! Debra :-)
Dawnyhell Mosley, How many minutes did you use for the chops with the bone?
Debbie Oman, Try 10 minutes. You can always add more time if needed (a minute or 2) after checking them. Debra :-)
great directions easy to follow thanks
will let you know how everything turned out
I need to get 1 of those pots... Is there Anyway to make them in a crock pot or something else??
Just had these for dinner! They were a hit! Thank you
Awesome!!
Looks beautiful -- but did you put the cup of water in the pot to start? I thought you always had to do that
Thanks for asking, Jeanne Falkenstein! This recipe does not require the addition of water. I hope you enjoy these chops! Debra :-)
Definitely trying this today
Thank you for your step-by-step instructions!! I loved watching this. I just recently bought a NuWave nutri pot and am anxious to learn how to use it! I subscribed to your channel, so the more recipes you can show with the instapot, the better. Happy Easter!!
Hi Chic1953! Thanks for subscribing! I have a lot of Instant Pot recipes on the channel and at my website (www.lastminutecook.com) so I hope you go through the oldies-but-goodies! And yes, more on the way. Happy cooking! Debra :-)
And Happy Easter!!! Debra :-)
I added some crushed pineapple to the sauce. My first Instant pot meal and I looked like a pro.
Walt Cachia excellent idea!
Will have to try these
I can't wait to try this! I love your video. You're a kick. Thanks for sharing.
Made them again they are amazingly awesome!!!
Yay!!!!!!! I love hearing this! Debra :-)
Wow!! Just wow! Looks amazing!
Thank you so much, Ashley!
Looks good - I would have thought the honey would add to a burn notice. I would definitely add fresh ginger. Enjoy!
I’ve had great success doing a dry salt brine for 6-12 hours in the fridge for juicy tenderness and use an instant-read thermometer at 145 F will insure correct doneness (will rise to 155 deg. by the time you serve)
This is my five year old sons new favourite with broccoli 🥦 I love my instant pot know
I am so happy to hear that, Camillia S!
Thank you for commenting Joseph McClelland! I'm so glad you like it and I love your suggestion!!! Debra :-)
Hi Joseph McClelland, have you seen my chicken recipe that is similar to this one? It's equally #yummy so I wanted to make sure you don't miss it :-) Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/ZAQYIaE2ijY/v-deo.html
That is an excellent idea. I'm going to take this advice and use it!
Awesome, Ben Luca! Thanks for commenting!! Hope you enjoy it (and the #yummy sauce!) Debra :-)
Your dish looks amazing!! I have to try it!
