Wow! People selling often want rid of their stuff and let’s be honest there aren’t many of those cars around these days. The seller didn’t seem upset with the deal. If Nic wasn’t a UA-camr would anyone really be bothered? I, for one, will continue to subscribe and think that the keyboard warriors are very silly and there was no need. Also 12 is roughly 10!
You were right to call out the comments Nic. Good video 👍 I don’t understand why people said that when it was clear you didn’t know exactly how many, the seller obviously wasn’t bothered about counting them either, I imagine she was just thinking she didn’t want to take them home again!!
Unbelievable 🤣 I watched the original, she got a deal she was happy with and you were so well mannered throughout. Some people... no words 🤣 Love your content and their ludicrous comments will just give 99% of fans a giggle. Need to give their heads a wobble 😂
Good for you Nic. I guarantee she did not want to take that big bag of old books home with her and was probably thrilled with £7. Gone is gone. All this craziness over 2 books and £3. Hilarious really. Haggling is part of car boots. If she was that bothered she could have opened the bag and checked before selling. I got the impression she really couldn't have cared less and was happy with the £7 which probably covered her entry seller fee. Good for her, good for you.
Personally I think the lady was delighted with £7 for the books Nic. I've been buying and selling at car boots for 30 years and firmly believe a little negociating always makes the day. If she didn't want to take your £7 she would have said so. Plus think she definitely would have taken them home with her if you didn't buy them.
I totally agree. It was an bag of old books the seller wanted gone. I have no sense in any way that they were unhappy with the transaction. Rest easy on this one Nic.
We are talking about £1? Next step will be for you to seek down the lady, or anyone you purchase from at a car boot, and share your proceeds when you sell the item. This is the real world.
Oh my goodness i can't believe people have done this to you and Andrea. After the YEARS of amazing hints and tips, going out of your way to share your knowledge and experience, your private lives much more than is necessary and the many ups and downs you've both had, for people to judge you so harshly on such a non incident is despicable. You are better off without them, believe me!! I for one will be forever grateful that i stumbled on your channel quite a few years ago !! So many of us have still hung on in there in the gritty times because of you and lovely Andrea- for every 1 eejit there are thousands of us that have got your backs. Now have a good sleep, chin up and keep doing what you love.... Linda 😊❤
If you were being dishonest then why would you film it and post in on your channel?! Love your content and thank you both for everything you do for the reselling community xxx
The lady was delighted to get rid of a bag of musty old books ! I watched the video before and never gave it a thought - just classic, wholesome car boot banter ! Keep doing you Nic ! ❤
Nic I've actually only today been banned from a local charity shop for exactly the same reason. Yesterday i Took some sealed media to the counter to pay. (all media was 20 items for £1) I ended up having 23 items I genuinely must have miss counted. Lady on the till said how many I said 20 paid my £1 and left. Returned to store today to offer to pay for my mistake, to be confronted by manager accusing me of stealing 3 dvds and banning me from the shop. This shop I attend at least 3 times a week every week. I've even priced things for them that are clearly way under priced. But with out allowing me to explain I am now banned. Mistakes happen but to be brandished a thief in public or on a social media platform is out of order. So Nic you have my support.
Charity shops are changing managers quite often, try again soon, new manager should be alright. This particular one has clearly some mental issues going on.
I was told to leave a charity shop for questioning why items were been listed on ebay rather than been put out in the shop.basically started when I noticed a couple of records on the counter and asked the price to be told they will be going on ebay as they will fetch more money.i see this as morally wrong but that's probably just my opinion.
@@78vinyl97 I know this is a year old comment but I've only just stumbled across the video. I feel your pain about being asked to leave, that's crap if you only asked a question. What I don't understand, though, is the stance about a charity shop being morally wrong for putting items on eBay rather than selling in the shop. How exactly is it wrong? The point of a charity shop is to raise funds for that charity. As much as possible! It is up to them which platform they use to raise those funds. Most charity shops I know of have people that are there to specifically check and list items online. Would you have an issue if it was a record shop with stock going on eBay? It's the same thing.
Hello Nic! I have been watching your content for years. No dishonesty seen! This type of bartering is standard when buying things like this. None of us have time to explain every nuanced thought process when out picking! And most sellers don't care and are simply happy to make the sale.
Hi Nic, don’t watch all your videos but have seen enough to know you’re not dishonest. If people are so quick to judge you, then honestly they’re not worth bothering with. Totally understand why you’d want to explain - I would too. And yes I’ve always haggled too, it’s just something I can’t help doing, it’s sort of ingrained as it were. You did nothing wrong at all.
Hi Nic, I haven't read the comments here but if you read this, please don't give this silly people anymore headspace. You are offering so much FREE advice and helping us on our respective journeys and you are very much appreciated! The hate is completely out of line. We all know that the lady was probably happy just to get rid and have some cash in return. The detail really doesn't matter too much. She should have known what she was selling. If the shoe was on the other boot... Would you care of you just wanted to get rid of stuff to someone else who wanted it?! Thanks again for being there for us and keep up the great work!! ❤
I bought 14 Haynes manuals once...I realised I was lucky they only took 18 months to sell and ended up throwing last 4 away.. I was so sick of seeing them. I'm sure she was happy with the £7 I'd have accepted it for all 14 I bought... Poor nic being accused of stealing. They're a lovely honest couple reselling professionals!
Right there! That’s the thing people saying it’s like theft don’t get. 18 months to sell is a long time and you’ve thrown some away. Right there is the decision making at play oh and that you might have missed that some of the pages are missing from the main ones which means that price you planned on selling them for is a pipe dream. Yes there’s other items in stock that sell to allow for waiting 18 months when reselling, but it’s a game of winning much better than you lose. And that is what is at play when you’re buying. If nic throws 4 books away that means he’s paid £7 for 8 books in reality. They won’t have quality checked the books. So if the books he’s bought the collection for turn out to have missing pages, then are these people going to argue she scammed him??? Of course not, because she didn’t, she just wouldn’t have checked them and sold them cheap with that being part of the risk you take. People pointing the finger clearly don’t resell for a lot living. Maybe they should go out and buy things from a car boot sale and and pay what they think isn’t theft and see if their opinions change when they get home and discover that had the items been in good condition they may have made a decent profit, sold one only to have it returned because they didn’t notice there were pages missing and realise the rest of the items will either sell for less than £1 and take 18 months. Because these things do happen when you buy bulk and don’t have time to check every page. And you soon realise that you need think hard about how offsetting not just the risk in-front of you, but claw a bit back from a previous mistake by way of getting a better deal on what you buy next.
They couldn’t have been regular subscribers otherwise they would have known that you are just not like that. You’re always polite and fair. It appears that a few trolls have grouped together to cause trouble.
Perfect transaction, if the lady was that concerned she would have counted them. You haggled, also perfectly normal and I wouldnt expect anything less at a car boot sale. Keep up the good work Nic and Andrea. Love your channel!
I have watched Nic and Andrea for a couple of years now and I have no doubt in my mind they are two honest people. First of all the car booter should have known how many books she was selling, Nic asked how much she wanted and like most people at car boots asked if she would accept £1.00 lower, she could have refused also she could have counted the books herself- she didn’t, she was happy with the offer that Nic made. I think the people who have unsubscribed you can do without. Keep up the hard work I look forward to the next video.
Oh my goodness Nic and Andrea I cannot watch this video without coming to your defence. Having bought several different items from your ebay shop I can definitely vouch for your honesty and respect and integrity. I know that you have never ever ripped anyone off. I have always been very impressed by the high quality of products and service offered by you and will be back for more. You have done nothing wrong guys.
Well Nic and Andrea we have to thank you 2 for giving us the confidence to sell on line 4 years ago, you kept us going through the lockdowns and give out plenty great advice, along with a team of other resellers so Thank You both x
Hi Nic! Long time suscriber here and I don’t plan on leaving! I was flabbergasted to hear you being accused of stealing. Total nonsense. You and Andrea are some of the best people. Don’t pay any attention to the folks who are talking crazy. I enjoy watching your videos after a long hard day at work. Big hugs to you and Andrea. ❤
I think your a very decent and honourable person, you have taken many hours out of your life to help good causes through your auctions and charity donations, the drama queens will probably have trotted up to the next public forum by now without a second thought, dont let this affect you in any way, your both helpers and have given time and advice to us all through your channel, take care/
I’ve been watching you for at least 4 years now I’m only 2mins in📍you give everyone information every week for years & still people want to hate, this is so sad, keep doing what your doing Nick mate, I see & learn information from you weekly! As for you buying books for a certain price, it’s none of my business💭
Nick its so obvious you weren’t doing anything unkind or underhand you and Andrea have always been thoughtful and fair to people as many of us who have followed you for years know keep smiling
I can't believe people have unsubscribed over this! I've been watching you and Andrea for a while now would never consider you to be dishonest. To be fair your estimate wasn't far off. The lady seemed happy with your offer, and you got your books, surely that's what boot sales are all about? Who knows, she may well of had to take the books home again had you not brought them. You've done nothing wrong, well done for taking those comments so well, I'm sure there are many people out there who wouldn't considering the accusation being made. I for one am sticking around and looking forward to many more videos to come.
Nick its Jelousey. Ignore them they are Jelous of your finds and success. First of all you didn't have to explain yourself as its the nature of the beast. Everyone haggls at a carboot and nothing is accurate. If they want to unsubscribe tell them "Goodbye" thats if they even followed you in the first place. But dont let it get you down.
"about 10" wonder what the reaction would have been if when counted there was 8 ! doesnt matter how many if the seller is putting a price on the bag full. end of in my opinion.
People making a mountain out of a mole hill in my opinion, Id just crack on Nic everyone who watches your videos can see a mile away your an honest fella. Keep up the good work
Been watching your channel since the very beginning , no dishonesty here , the self entitled snowflakes need to get a grip . Onwards and upwards Rodney , onwards and upwards.
I personally do not think you are a rip-off merchant myself, I personally think you are very wise and very very calculated with numbers and profit margins 😊😊
As some old bloke called Will once wrote "Much ado about nothing". The lady was within her right to refuse Nic's £7.00 offer but she was happy to accept, nowt wrong with haggling it's half the fun. Also I think she probably had an idea how many were in the bag and the box of other books Nic and Andrea bought.
I've been watching your channel for well over 5 years! Every video and you're both great honest resellers and you definitely wasn't mugging the seller off at all! Keep the videos coming i love them
I think if a reseller like you didn't come along and relieve her of the entire bag on that day, the LOT would have probably ended up in the recycling. Most people go to car boots to declutter for a nominal fee in return. You saved her a big weight to carry home. Yeah, it was a bit cheeky shaving another pound off, bearing in mind profit was guaranteed even if you paid £12. The Game is the Game. Haggle > Shake hands > Hand over money > Drive Home > Throw Tat on death pile. ✌️
From a certain point of view all resellers are dishonest if you feel that honesty involves explicitly telling people what the item they have is worth. That's their responsibility not yours
Until recently the wife and I have not been to car boots for over twenty years. I have been amazed at the low prices people have been prepared to sell things for and people will still haggle over something costing 20p. The other surprise is if you then wait until they are packing up they will give the items away as they do not want to take it home. The wife spotted an item of good quality clothing and asked the seller how much, the sign said £1, we offered the pound and she said no, pick up one of the large shopping bags and it’s fill the bag for £1. I have no doubts on your integrity and honesty, and thank you for the information, videos and knowledge you both pass on.
The people watching these videos (your audience of subscribers).... their brains are engaged with your content (as if it were THEM at the sale)... and therefore many of them ARE counting the books, whilst watching you rummaging.... just like any reseller WOULD likely be doing when going through a bag of manuals at a boot sale. So when your average viewer, watching you rummaging one by one through a bag of books.... automatically counting them as they watch (in their own minds)... just like they would do, if it was THEM at the sale instead of you... then they witness you give the lady a number that is less than what you've got in the bag..... It can come across a little surprising. I'm sure everyone will get over it.
Thanks Nic there are some well weird people about and its so easy to tap away on a keyboard using strange names. You are completely up front and honest. Please carry on uploading your lovely films. Chris in Devon.
The biggest crime against reselling here is bothering with Haynes manuals. 😂 No problem with anything else, must be a slow day for the trolls. Jon Luc was getting pelters on TikTok for haggling over some Harry Potter books too. It’s a car boot, what do they expect?
what you think about eBay data fishing for more info from sellers which it can use as a 'commercial product' same as Facebook did ages ago.. also they told me they have no link to Bank account identity so they are lying if they say are preventing fraud..
Hi NIC you were totally respectful, honest and probably the best customer of the day for that lady. Sadly the opinionated ignorant voices of those who have possibly never sold anything at a boot sale ever feel free to comment as they see fit. Once or twice a year I sell at a boot sale most people offer 50% of whatever you say!! Perhaps this tactic is a feature of the general Cambridge population! To an old person like me you seem to be a jolly decent guy and you are always welcome to bulk buy my spare mouldy books for 50p each anytime!! Well done on the TV quiz to and your friend were mildly impressive!!!!
Oh my - that’s crazy that people think this way. Micro analysis of 30 seconds of a persons life and rushing to judgment. She probably would have just recycled them if they didn’t sale. I think of that scene in Sully where they got all the pilots to reenact the flight in a simulation. That is not real life and a moment in one’s life out of context is crazy to criticize
Firstly from a purely psychological viewpoint. He is being upfront and is telling the truth, I have no doubts about that whatsoever. Second from experience doing something similar but with music, what he says here 11:45 is 100% true. Even at second hand music shops if you buy over 10 cd’s and they’re about the same price (I’ll buy 50 or so, which if you apply the same logic the “theft” is even bigger). I haven’t counted them properly, so I could be ripping myself off if I’m wrong. I might have counted them, but there’s time pressures and other pressures that mean even if I count them I’m probably wrong so if the seller wants to count them they will. I don’t how much each will sell for, or how long many of them will take to sell. Im taking enough risk here and sometimes you get lumbered with rubbish you can’t sell. That’s how these things work. For example, does he know whether there are pages ripped out of the books? No he doesn’t, can he get a refund if there is? No he can’t. He is the buyer, and whether it is a high street store, independent 2nd hand shop, or a car boot, the seller should count them. The seller packed the bag, they could have written down the total in the bag or had a look inside and counted them. The seller has the power and choice and busy or not they could have been counted BEFORE. As for bartering on price, again absolutely, most car boot sellers know the score, and resellers need to stack the odds in their favour when selling (due to reasons I mentioned earlier) because although it looks easy to do, there’s a lot of risk involved. You may think they buy stuff and it goes straight out of the door at a profit, and some items will, others will take a year (and that is £x you’ve spent eg your budget, gone until it finally sells). But there are many items that may not sell for years, and even if they do, it’s going to give you £2 profit, and if every item was like that you’d be out of business within months. Those items take up storage space and will end up either being sold as part as a job lot, or at auction where someone else will take them for a lot less than you paid for them. If you really think this is like theft, you’re misunderstanding how it works in reality for someone who isn’t a multimillionaire business. Also the seller was happy with the price, most likely couldn’t be bothered or didn’t have time to put the work into selling the items online and went for the fastest option of car boot knowing they’re going to probably sell some valuable things cheap, which is why they’re a good place to go if you’re a reseller. If this is really something that is playing havoc with your moral compass, you really need to start getting on to all of the major corporations you use. Because these people don’t even need the money but do things you will certainly think fall under the “almost theft” banner, just they make millions they don’t even need to stay in business, from millions of “victims”.
"I think there's roughly ten" Do people not know what "think" and "roughly" are? It's a load of old manuals being picked up quickly at a carboot, not a month-long forensic accounting investigation. Some of the hand-wringing from internet weirdos is pathetic.
I'm not bothered about the books, but if everyone wants to cancel you for leaving your Facebook notification sounds on in every video, I can get on board with that 😂 Catches me out every time!
I almost always “haggle” with folks at a yard sale. I make a little pile and ask for a deal. In the US, it’s seems to be expected , and usually accepted.
Hey Nic, We have been waiting for a while for the final update on the Ebay problem but, thus far, we haven't heard anything. Any idea when that is coming?
All this and the people who thought you were a bum have unsubscribed so they won;t see this. (I bet they're still here). Don't worry about the people trying to get you. You and Andrea are a wonderful couple with a great business and a good channel.
I can’t believe people would think you were dishonest if they have followed you long enough they would know what a lovely couple you are and so helpful. The stall holder I’m sure wasn’t bothered otherwise she should have counted. Thanks for sharing
I resell, I never haggle if someone is selling something cheap and I know I’m going to make a decent profit, however buying a bag full, I would have said “will you do something on the price if I take all of them?” Haynes are notoriously difficult to sell and even at Boot sales most don’t sell, even at £1 I don’t see anything wrong in this, I’m sure when this lady counted up at the end of the day, she was pleased with her takings and happy to have gotten rid of junk. This is a business, this is their livelihood, they need to buy things cheaply. It’s quite difficult buying at a boot sale you have to be quick and can sometimes get caught up with buying something and wanting to move on.
Just watched this and can’t believe people are so horrible, normally car boot banter, no dishonesty at all, you too are the nicest, respectful pair of resellers around, your videos are always spot on and honest. 😊
Perfect deal, you asked the price!! She gave it. You haggled slightly like we all do, and she accepted. So many Karen's about that probably do exactly the same when they are out and about sourcing.
I think the lady would've eventually end up taking it to the charity shop anyway if they didn't end up selling. I bet she was glad to be rid of them and still had some money for it 😅👍 tbf, I've always done an extra cheeky haggle, even if it's just 50p off, that's just normal behavior at a Carboot. The only time I don't haggle is if the item is in pristine condition and if the seller is already given a fair price. I wouldn't worry about it too much. I didn't see anything wrong with the video 😊
Nic , the lady was at a Boot Fair , she was very grateful that you took the books off her hands I would imagine , she then did not have to take them home , I resell myself ,and no you did not rip her off , some people are funny and it only takes one to get on the bandwagon , onwards and upwards Nic & Andrea you carry on a do what you do .
I often end up with these Haynes manuals from job lots I acquire, you are right they are worth very little apart from a handful (the McLaren mp4 one for example) she got a great price for them, I never doubted Nick for a second here.
I'm totally with you, Nic. I do about 35 car boots a year, you've got a few seconds to do a deal or you'd be there all day. You suggested £7 for the bagful. She agreed. End of the matter. A verbal agreement has been made. It doesn't matter if there's a 100 books in the bag and a Ming vase.
I have watched hours of your videos over the years and i see you two as honest lovely people. Always seem very upfront even with the secrets to your own buisness !! To HELP many ebay sellers, does that not say everything ?
Brilliant video Nic. Can't honestly believe that people honestly believed those comments they were writing on that video. The Internet can be a strange place. Great stuff :)
One or two of the books were in pretty grotty condition. I think it was a very reasonable offer and she could have said no to it if she wanted to. Didn't see anything dishonest in the transaction. Some people are just making an issue out of it when there is no need to👍
Resellers are struggling atm so things are brutal out there saw 1 reseller fighting with another over a £10 item it’s now embarrassing, but stealing you was not more hustling
I had a similar thing happen to me at a record store. I purchased several reel to reel tapes from a record store and wound up selling several on eBay for a nice profit. Out of nowhere the record store owner claimed I stole the tapes and reported me to eBay and made comments on my UA-cam channel accusing me of being a thief. I had the original receipt and ultimately had to contact the police. They paid a visit to the record store and all of a sudden he removed the comments and said he was mistaken. Unreal experience. Come to find out he was just mad I resold them for a profit.
Honestly some people on Social media. Its not exactly the Brinx mat robbery is it. You answered roughly ten and there was roughly ten. Some people are not happy unless they're offended.
As I was watching the clip it became obvious to me that you weren't counting the books. In that arena you are doing, judging, guessing at speed. How many times have we brought things home to find holes/damage and despite the sellers assurances things that DON'T work. It's a shame that there has been an over-reaction. As to haggling, that's what any good reseller does. Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves. In response to someone's previous post you CAN learn much about people that UA-cam regularly. You can see and find the measure of that person. For me, Nick and Andrea are as honest as the day is long. For me, there was no skulduggery or shenanigans. Thank you Nick for your inspiration, your knowledge, your sharing. And the wonderful cut of your jibe..........big kiss X
Pay no attention guys you are always respectful and always putting items up for charity. Pay no attention they got nothing better to do than put people down.
As others have said.. if she was bothered she would have asked you to count them or counted them herself. She was also happy with £7. if she'd wanted more she would have said. After all, car boots are people getting rid of stuff they dont want anymore, for whatever they can get. Not stealing, not ripping off, just a transaction where both parties were happy. job done !
An excellent video Nic. It is good to address comments and bring them put in the open especially when you feel they are challenging your character. Focus on the masses of lovely supportive comments you receive on all your lovely videos and know that well over 99% of your subscribers think you and Andrea are great resellers.
Can't believe the woman turns up to a car boot sale not knowing exactly what she is selling! Obviously not bothered!!! Not down to the buyer to start counting for her. I totally believe Nic - Unsubscribe? What a joke!!!
I've only watched a handful of your videos. Good luck to you mate, thanks for making and uploading them, and for sharing your experience and knowledge.
It’s plain to see here that Nic actually didn’t know how many books exactly were there. The deal was done for a bag of stuff the woman didn’t want to take home. Nic is no way a dishonest man. I don’t know him or Andrea personally but I feel I have known them for since 2016 now when I saw his video that prompted me to start reselling. You have nothing to prove Nic! Keep doing what you do! People are too quick to hate or be “offended” or “outraged” these days, it’s getting tiresome.
Nic you haven’t done anything wrong please don’t let the trolls get to you carry doing what your doing and your doing great I’ll always remain subbed and follow you and Andrea xx
I hope everyone who wrote those things watches this and reads these comments and feels stupid. Some people just want to see problems where there are none. I guarantee that lady was delighted you took them away. Keep up the good work
Wow! People selling often want rid of their stuff and let’s be honest there aren’t many of those cars around these days. The seller didn’t seem upset with the deal. Totally understand why you’d want to explain - I would too. And yes I’ve always haggled too, it’s just something I can’t help doing, it’s sort of ingrained as it were. You did nothing wrong at all.
There is nothing wrong with what you did. Keep doing your thing ❤
I fully agree x
I agree too, more than likely if nic just wanted the 4 books the lady probably would of thrown the damaged ones in for free
This reminds me of a camera incident a few years ago 😂 Nic, you aren’t dishonest. Please don’t worry about it
Perfect transaction, if the lady was that concerned she would have counted them.
I think you're the kinda person that would rip a Monopoly so it fits in a box.
I think I should troll the trolls on your behalf
Ooh your hard ..
@johnm8336 noone asked you. Your a nobody and an insignificant individual.
You're
Clearly, people don't know how a car boot works. Haggling is part of the course. Morons will always troll, unfortunately
Par for the course - I hope you spot my intended irony
Steal? You and Andrea? Err no way!!!! 100% believe you Nic, you didn't need to justify yourself
Not dishonest but taking the Mickey asking for the pound off I personally couldn't do that.
If anyone had ever met Ninky-Nonk and Nandrea they would know that they are THE MOST honest and delightful people. Just ridiculous comments.
I got 14 when you went through them, 10 already in the bag plus the 4 stood up outside it
Seriously people, get a life.
Losing your minds over mouldy old books.
Sadly Nick some people are just horrible you and George taught me everything I know and changing my life around. Thank you.
😁👍🏻
I honestly have no words! What some people say is simply unbelievable and I will never get it.
Got to admire the dedication to go back and rewatch ;)
Thanks Nic there are some well weird people about and its so easy to tap away on a keyboard using strange names. You are completely up front and honest. Please carry on uploading your lovely films. Chris in Devon.
The biggest crime against reselling here is bothering with Haynes manuals. 😂
No problem with anything else, must be a slow day for the trolls.
You're honest and more than reasonable. I would of given her a fiver.
You did nothing wrong your better without subscribers like that love watching yours and Andrea's vids
"I think there's roughly ten"
Do people not know what "think" and "roughly" are?
It's a load of old manuals being picked up quickly at a carboot, not a month-long forensic accounting investigation.
Some of the hand-wringing from internet weirdos is pathetic.
I'm not bothered about the books, but if everyone wants to cancel you for leaving your Facebook notification sounds on in every video, I can get on board with that 😂 Catches me out every time!
People just need to get over themselves and get off their high horse. Nothing wrong here.
I am Scottish I would have offered her £1 for the whole bag-sorry no wait 50p😄
I almost always “haggle” with folks at a yard sale. I make a little pile and ask for a deal. In the US, it’s seems to be expected , and usually accepted.
Hey Nic, We have been waiting for a while for the final update on the Ebay problem but, thus far, we haven't heard anything. Any idea when that is coming?
You already know this but you did nothing wrong. The lady got a fair price and cleared some space
All this and the people who thought you were a bum have unsubscribed so they won;t see this. (I bet they're still here). Don't worry about the people trying to get you. You and Andrea are a wonderful couple with a great business and a good channel.
The Lupin of boot sales! 😂
Envy is a crazy thing .. remember people reselling is hard even if you get the stuff for free. It takes time and lots of work plus lots of Space.
Exactly!
Nic , the lady was at a Boot Fair , she was very grateful that you took the books off her hands I would imagine , she then did not have to take them home , I resell myself ,and no you did not rip her off , some people are funny and it only takes one to get on the bandwagon , onwards and upwards Nic & Andrea you carry on a do what you do .
dont worry about the trolls Nic - you and Andrea are 2 of the more honest resellers out there....
Honesty works both ways at a boot. How many sellers say something is working or complete but know its not.
Those people that say
" I'm unsubscribing "
This isn't an airport , no need to announce departures .
There was no rip off,it's just car booting.the lady was happy and you were happy,it's all good!
When she said how many are there? ?? You should of said one minute I will count them I'd of counted them anyway, I'm too honest tho.
If she was concerned she could have counted them or even said the firm price is 10, she seemed happy to offload them, I’m with you on this Nic.
Makes sense. Sorry that happened to you. Enjoy watching you both!
Love the videos, some people seem to be jealous of your success. keep up the excellent videos and take no notice of peoples sour grape comments.
There are some seriously weird people out there. Sad, weird people
Can't believe the woman turns up to a car boot sale not knowing exactly what she is selling! Obviously not bothered!!! Not down to the buyer to start counting for her. I totally believe Nic - Unsubscribe? What a joke!!!
Why did you not just buy the 4 you were interested in?
I've only watched a handful of your videos. Good luck to you mate, thanks for making and uploading them, and for sharing your experience and knowledge.
Oh for goodness sakes..keyboard bullies but wusses in real life
Oh my gosh! I would just ignore them. People kill me!!! You keep going! You are awesome! I sell also!
