Just an fyi, he was already a platinum producer with Jay Z and Rocafella records when the came out. They signed him as a rapper but they put him on the back burners when the accident happened. So he shot this with his own money to try and create buzz so Rocafella would be pressured into putting his project out. He even acknowledges on his album that they just signed him to keep him in house as a producer and they were going put popular rappers on the album to make sure it didn't flop. Then he popped off and became the biggest artist on the label. Also, his mouth wasnt wired shut anymore for this version. They made him re-record it for the studio version. But he wanted to keep that sound. Find the OG version and you can tell his mouth is wired shut.

i knew that he re-recorded it, but i still thought his mouth was wired shut, he just learned to enunciate his words better
