God save the Christians of Turkey and the wider Middle East!
My husband and I live in Turkey. I am not Turkish, but he is turkish and Kurdish . We are both Catholics. The pressure here is enormous on Christians, Catholics, Jews, Kurds. It's so oppressive, it's insults in the street, death threats, neighbors who make you live hell because you did Christmas or they saw you carrying a cross, small churches are constantly under stress, people who spit on you or who scream loudly that you should be decapitated in the street ... Not all Turks are like this, but unfortunately the insecurity that a large part of the population creates is so exhausting. Even the police don't come when you call them, you can't file a complaint, the doctors treat you badly most of the time. It's super tiring and stressful, as soon as you leave the house you have a lump in your stomach because you don't know what can happen. It's so sad and disgusting....
Thank you for the word of explanation. Good of you to do so. Happy to hear all is ok.
So glad you're ok, now John! You hung in there like a trooper last week, but something seemed wrong. God bless you!
Glad you’re feeling well. Thanks for explaining. Appreciate you.
So much better presentation this week. Stay well. 🙏🏻✝️🕊️👍🏻
Glad you’re okay! I too need to watch my sugar levels and know how a mess up can put me in a bad spot. Sometimes you drive me nuts, but I also see you as very important to my knowledge of just what is going on in the Church. I also feel that a layperson giving this kind of information is an important issue. Thank you!
I'm so glad you're feeling better, John!
So glad you are ok 😊 hyperglycemia definitely needs close monitoring. Take good care of yourself and if you need to skip a week...while, we would definitely miss you, self care is important and we would understand.
So glad your feeling better and will be more careful!! Let's continue to pray for the Pope and the Church. It wil never fail but sometimes it's a head-scratcher. I always wonder "What do they see that i don't?" Stay healthy.
In a reply to your explanation of last wks episode, John, my husband suffers from diabetes also, and yes, gets disoriented, confused, and cannot express himself properly. That said, when anyone is in THAT state, there is NO reasoning, it is NOT because of laziness on your part, but an effect of spiked blood sugar. Along with that, there is ALSO, a great deterioration of your vascular system, high sugar ERRODES that system, leaving veins, arteries so weakened, they will not stay open to permit blood flow, leading to surgeries, and STENTS, BI PASSES, the like, in your case, esophageal weakness and failure. If you cherish the life and body, the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, take care of yourself, by the remedy’s you mentioned. 🙏🛐🕊️✝️. 👀
Glad you are better! Thanks for letting us know. My next comment with apologies to whoever helps pick your clothes - your jacket makes my eyes water!
The pope is not addressing Rupnik. He is not “serious “ about sexual abuse.
I actually watched the infomercial to get a break from this week’s jacket.
I'm sure it was a simple slip of the tongue, but for the record, a balaclava is a cloth head gear. Baklava is a sweet pastry treat.
Did Pope Francis take any time out from his busy schedule on sodomy and climate change to mention the depredations in Nigeria and now Turkey?
I know I have seen on several occasions where the catholic church in certain localities blesses farm animals at some annual ceremony. Perhaps the Pope should make some comments on this.
Gestis Verbisque, IF ENFORCED- will destroy the worst parts of Fidducia, as it is clear that "couples in irregular situations" are not valid matter for the Sacrament of Marriage any more than a priest claiming "We Baptise you in the Name of Papa and Mapma" makes for a valid baptism.
Is this revision no. 28?
🦚🌴🍇💐🌈🍉 May Our Lady of Lourdes keep you in good health! 🍎🌍👨👩👧👦🌹🔭

By the way, the current Catholic Church’s return to anti-semitism is quite progressive! I am very impressed! I though we had worked our way through that old prejudice, but no! In this ONE aspect, Francis has returned to Tradition!
How can criticism of the unfolding genocide in Gaza be anti-semitic? There are so many thousands of Jews internationally also condemning it. And most of those expressing concern also expressed total horror at the crimes against humanity on Oct 7. But crimes against humanity don’t justify crimes against humanity - neither is criticising the policy of a gov a comment on the race of the ethic majority of the state it governs
@@minui8758 What genocide?
Are Arabs genocided by a tiny minority population of Israelis in the Middle -East?
What would you have the Israeli government do if you were an Israeli citizen?
Not hunt down each and every Hamas threat to Israel?
Yes you're a brainwashed antisemite.
Jesus is the Prince of Peace. He showed us that.
"And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise." - John 2:15-16
Wearing black baklavas? lol
Fuss?
Muslim responsibility
In re Gaza: 1200 Israelis murdered:25,000 Palestinians murdered.
As I understand it ""sex is a sin"" and as such can not be blessed. This includes marriage between heterosexuals. The best marriage in Christianity is one that does not include sex, as the church has noted in the past. Carnal pleasure is to be shunned. The Church embraced the devil when the Church incorporated marriage so that it could become the state religion of Rome, knowing that Rome had marriage prior to Christianity and wanted marriage. The Pope is right for one in Christianity can not bless sexual behaviors of any form.
U don't "understand" much.
@@Jimboken1 thank you for your keen observation. I just hope that you are not dumber then me.
@@marshalldarcy7423 Give us the reference for "(t)he best marriage in Christianity is one that does not include sex, as the church has noted in the past" or why ""sex is a sin"" as you "understand it"
@@Jimboken1 " en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Original_sin "
Josephine marriage
" en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josephite_marriage "
Let us understand that all major religions have for a long time known that sex was not a way to a higher conscience. It is the justification for celibacy but in truth religion has nothing to do with it for this is based on a path going beyond birth/death.
@@marshalldarcy7423 Catechism 1660: "The marriage covenant, by which a man and a woman form with each other an intimate communion of life and love, has been founded and endowed with its own special laws by the Creator. By its very nature it is ordered to the good of the couple, as well as to the generation and education of children. Christ the Lord raised marriage between the baptised to the dignity of a sacrament"
Sex is the primary driving force of all animals and man. Its misuse for pleasure alone is what separates us from God. So your assertion ""sex is a sin"" is drivel.
Moreover your assertion that "(t)he best marriage in Christianity is one that does not include sex, as the church has noted in the past" is drivel and is not supported by your wikipedia references. A nun is in a joesephite marriage to Christ is not superior to a married woman who enjoys sex with her husband daily.
You have a perverse understanding of Church teaching.
John, I keep trying to see otherwise, but you insist upon being a fraud.
