My Episcopal church left our diocese and we are now an Anglican church in North America however, its been quite a journey. We lost the right to our church building, worshipped in a bldg in a shopping mall, now are St Charles Anglican Cathedral and the Lord has given us back all that the previous diocese took.
I’ve been following Calvin since the Oxford Union speech went viral. He is a man of God & at 6’5” must be larger then life in person! As a part time Resident of Florida, I love that he would prefer to settle in “Florida or Texas” but God has called him to be right where he is. The West is a mission field now more then ever & we are all called to be part of that.
I too am a Catholic and it’s refreshing to listen to father Robinson he has clarity ,wisdom and fortitude. We have very good priest in the Catholic Church whose hands have been tied and it’s sad .the ones that showed backbone have been kicked to the curb . 28:49 if some of the good don’t stay in the church the sheep will be lost because the shepherds are weak. The church does so Much better under the traditional formation of faith. If the church instituted by Christ appears to fall it will not be kept down. Remember Jesus Christ said that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. It being the church, the bride of Christ. 32:34
I am a pastor of a small church in Gonubie East London. I stand on the fact that we proclaim the Word of God only. Nothing added and Scripture interpret Scripture.
I am a Catholic devotee of St. Martin de Porres and am praying for the canonization of other people of color of the Americas as well. As far as I am concerned, Fr. Calvin is on the track to sainthood as well. 🎉
As a follower of Jesus Christ I highly respect and have an agape love for Calvin! I praise God for using his passion for the truth to wake up “The Church”.🕊🙏🏼🛐❤️
The UK can’t afford to lose Calvin. People have had their spiritual homes ripped from under them. Too many are lost in the soup of LGBT and same sex issues. Calvin gives US hope.
Amen! What a great discussion. For the last 2 years I've been diving into what has happened in our culture and asking the question..."What happened to the church?" My conclusion was that the church should hold. We have a wisdom crisis and when these individuals discover that they've ruined their lives and they turn to desire wisdom, if the church keeps "reflecting" the culture rather than reflecting "Christ" they won't have any wisdom to offer these souls. All they'll have is more of the same that they have disillusioned by. We have ancient wisdom. We hold and if need be experience what Paul said would happen, "And indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted." (2 Tim 3:12) Awesome program!!!!
When the church teaches to believe magic, the church is holding back wisdom. The Bible is fiction from page 1 and any attempt to maintain its belief is choosing comfort over truth
Christ stated it well, when he said, “ if the world hates you keep in mind it hated me first” So keep up the good fight Calvin and don’t heed the doubters? Mike UK
Thank you Calvin Robinson for your high ethics and brilliance. Please continue to voice your wonderful point of view throughout the globe. Blessings to you and your extended family.
@@etahenry3377 The Catholic Church has had problems since Jesus established it over 2000 years ago. Starting with Pope Peter when he denied Jesus 3 times, although he did repent and was redeemed. Jesus clearly stated in scripture that the gates of hell will not prevail against the Catholic Church, so I take Jesus at His word and don't worry about any problems that the church might encounter now or in the future. I love Father Calvin Robinson.... I have been so discouraged as a former Anglican... I am looking for a Bible based church in Mexico... It´s wonderful to hear voices such as Fr. Calvin´s Blessings
The Catholic Church is a Jesus Christ based church and will never get involved in this woke stuff. It is also the largest and most mainstream, worldwide Church so you will easily find a congregation in your local area.
I really like, agree with, and admire Calvin Robinson. As to how to grow the Church, when you return to Gospel values, the Holy Spirit grows the church. It's that simple. That's how ALL revivals have always worked. There seems to be an immense revival going on in America right now: I'm watching from South Africa. God moves into places where hearts need to hear the Truth. Calvin is right. You don't need to do modern "advertising", you just need to obey God's Truth.
" And now Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto Thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak Thy word, by stretching forth Thine hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of Thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together, and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness."-Acts 4:29-31. I found god 6 years ago and I'm due to be baptised into the Catholic faith in August. I chose Catholicism because it is the most honest expression of what I understand to be the word of god I could find and I looked at every denomination I could find. To all of the churches who are trying to do things to 'attract people' - IF you believe in god you will preach the gospel and let the dust settle wherever it may, you will trust in god to keep the faithful loyal through the gospel NOT through your own misguided, faithless actions. ANY church who would stray from the gospel in an attempt to popularise the church does not believe in god and therefore is not a Christian church, it's that simple. On the topic of people rejecting the heresy and finding Christ - I was about as staunch an Atheist as one could be until I was 25, then I became a scientist... and understood how to be intellectually honest and properly research ideas, I set out to disprove Christianity and like so many before me, upon reviewing the evidence , could not deny the truth - Christ is truth.
you say "ANY church who would stray from the gospel in an attempt to popularise the church does not believe in god and therefore is not a Christian church, it's that simple. " It's not that simple. The RCC has done it many, many times in its history (indigenization and syncretism ) In fact the lower chuch RCC services are basically anglican services now I've been to many. Vatican 2? You could argue as they have done that they never strayed from the Gospel I suppose. The church has had to correct course many, many times.
@@davidsprouse151 that is precisely my argument, if they are engaging in sacred traditions which have been upheld since before the bible was even written or assembled and those traditions do not flagrantly contradict the scripture then sure theres an argument to be had - but when new traditions, not withstanding the test of time outwardly conflict with the teachings of scripture this is when it can no longer be considered to be a christian organisation - Moreover, I don't see evidence that any seriously considered reforms that were made have been to popularise the church, most have been to stay closer to scripture, the written word I'm not aware of any who have reformed to popularise the church. In fact I would declare blasphemy upon those Christians who utter arrogant phrases like "IF the church wants to attract more people they have to do X" - how dare they prostitute the values of our Lord to the notion of relevance, how dare they suggest that the word of god should conform to childishly egocentric worldviews - this is a sure mark of the corrupted, for these are the words of those who believe themselves so grand they can apply conditions to god, often bordering on blackmail. 2nd Timothy But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
I was forced to leave the Anglican , the Lutheran and Methodist Church. I wonder why the hypothyroidism drove me away. Now i realize that somethings that these churches are adhering to it is why i am being prevented
Mathew 5 - 10,11 "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake." It clearly says that righteous people are and WILL be persecuted. But we should still stand against evil for His sake. Not for popularity, fads, or the what the majority wants' sake... Good work Calvin Robinson.
I love Calvin....he is a true born again Christian....and his voice is being listened to as he speaks by the words of the Holy Spirit. May the Lord continue ti bless him and use him for His Glory..
Fr. Robinson is like King Josiah in ancient Israel in that he is likewise pointing out that the church needs to reclaim what was lost by secularization. Did not ancient Israel also lose its way; cave in to surrounding culture; begin to idolize foreign gods; get 'with the times' so to speak? That has always been the challenge, historically, to not give in, but hold fast, cling to the Rock of our Salvation. We know that the world will always be the world. It has made itself the enemy of God. We are to live IN it (for now) but to not be OF it. And the Words of the LORD are crystal clear about this, it is a recurring theme. Every generation must address the same challenge. Fr. Robinson has been and continues to be inspirational as he is holding fast. To be sanctified and holy is to be set apart for God and I wish more self-avowed Christians would read the Bible to understand what the tenets of our faith are. Especially as the Enemy has consistently attempted to silence and outlaw it, defame it or rewrite it. It's wonderful to see someone standing FOR the Word rather than the world. ❤
I'm in Australia and I've been saved by Grace thru faith from a wild, lawless youth. I live in a regional community in Victoria. The town is known as the one of three witchcraft hotspots in the satate of Victoria. There's been so much disruption, division and grief over the leadership split. Finally, the Lord has brought a new pastor who is true to the Word, but he won't turn anyone away. Nor will he entertain sinful behaviour. He's a great example of the love and mercy of Christ. The church may look like it's in decline, however, the Holy Spirit is moving. And we WILL see a reawakening to truth. Shalom❤🙏
I'm almost 42 years old, have been on the left politically since my early teens, bouncing from anarchist to liberal to socialist before settlement in the populist camp. This year's Easter I came across quite a few coincidences that I couldn't ignore, leading me from paganism straight to Catholicism. I used to feel Europeans should adhere to our ancient ways of worship (pre Christian) but I have since found Jesus' new Covenant. I have a feeling those my age are going through a similar transition, maybe from a different starting line, but now is the time to evangelize because people are searching.
I am probably quite liberal in my approach to the interpretation of the Bible and on sexual issues, but I am disgusted at the way Fr. Robinson (and Fr. Bernard Randall) have been treated. There should be room for debate on non-dogmatic issues (and even on the interpretation of dogma - that's called "theology'"!) This lockstep woke agenda is quite distinct from theological liberalism. There is nothing liberal about its authoritarian woke fundamentalism.
The problem is that socially and theologically conservative folks are too often temperamentally conservative, too. Calvin was right in saying boldness should be a mark of Christians.

As a Catholic i love and am so grateful for Calvin Robinson.
If you like to listen to him, then you're not a Catholic since he teaches error. Just agreeing with him because he spoke out against the lgbtqia alphabet soup does not make him a truth teller. Even satan can tell you the truth, but I doubt you would follow him, and following a protestant is no different it's just less obvious of his duplicitous nature since he does not have a tail and two horns.
Yes, as an RC I like this Anglican priest too.
@jeanettebard2597 satan also speaks the truth, so I have heard. Even scripture testifies to that, but like protestants and protestantism, it is always taken out of context to change the narrative.
Same here. Keep going Rev Calvin. For all of us.
@josephdrillon6401 Never thought people would be so eager for hell through error
Keep speaking the TRUTH Calvin, stay strong ! He will enable you to be bold !
This man is exactly what we need right now. God bless him.
That’s what I’m saying ❤️❤️
I'm blown away by his intelligence, love for Christ, and His church! Articulate, fair, balanced, and full of faith.
Why wouldn’t he be intelligent or articulate?
Father Robinson is a true man after Gods own heart. I’m a non denominational Christian, in America, but I find him a breath of fresh air.
It’s cause they get politically correct brownie points for it!
@@roslynaubrey7766 by today’s cultural, and political standards I wouldn’t say, father Robinson was politically correct. I’d say he was faithful.
The host is afraid this will make us mad? Why? We're glad to listen to Father Robinson!
He's in the closet.
6'5" with or without the afro?
A larger than life priest indeed. I wonder why he did not cross the tiber?
You have it sooooooo right! Truth is truth. Thank you for speaking

Thank you Calvin, you won the Oxford debate by a country mile.
As a Catholic I love Fr. Robinson and pray for him everyday! Saint Martin De Porres Ora Pro Nobis!

I am a Catholic devotee of St. Martin de Porres and am praying for the canonization of other people of color of the Americas as well. As far as I am concerned, Fr. Calvin is on the track to sainthood as well. 🎉
You really gave a trigger warning 😂 don’t ever apologize for the truth

As a follower of Jesus Christ I highly respect and have an agape love for Calvin! I praise God for using his passion for the truth to wake up “The Church”.🕊🙏🏼🛐❤️
You are greatly respected. Your courage is a great example and a challenge to all of us who love the Lord
The UK can’t afford to lose Calvin. People have had their spiritual homes ripped from under them. Too many are lost in the soup of LGBT and same sex issues. Calvin gives US hope.
There is always the Catholic Church in the UK and in every country in the world. It is united worldwide in its teaching and it will never go woke.

ALOT of the church has gone on the liberal side so as not to offend anyone forgetting or not caring that they are offending God.
When the church teaches to believe magic, the church is holding back wisdom. The Bible is fiction from page 1 and any attempt to maintain its belief is choosing comfort over truth
Thank you for allowing Fr Robinson to share on your platform. God bless & keep him & yourselve.
Calvin. you are a Warrior, God speed you
Fr. Calvin Robinson is very polite, clear and logical. He is telling the truth, and he is not abrasive at all. - Catholic in Texas

We need this Holy Man in the Catholic Church!!! ❤️
Haven't you got enough problems?
@@etahenry3377 The Catholic Church has had problems since Jesus established it over 2000 years ago. Starting with Pope Peter when he denied Jesus 3 times, although he did repent and was redeemed. Jesus clearly stated in scripture that the gates of hell will not prevail against the Catholic Church, so I take Jesus at His word and don't worry about any problems that the church might encounter now or in the future. We need Fr. Robinson because he is not afraid of the truth or stating facts clearly so there is no confusion!

I would love to see something like Calvin Robinson chats to Fr. Mike Schmitz. Now that would really draw in the punters. I am R.C. but could listen to Calvin and Fr. Mike all day. God bless.

Those who complain about an "abrasive style" are simply unable to confront their own guilt regarding these issues. We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God but we all must admit it and cling on to Christ who is the only one who was ever able to redeem us.

Yes bro we are all looking for Churches that keep the New Testament truth . Keep praying . God bless
The Catholic Church is a Jesus Christ based church and will never get involved in this woke stuff. It is also the largest and most mainstream, worldwide Church so you will easily find a congregation in your local area.

Absolutely incredible, haven’t heard anything of this nature in years, bravo bravo 👏🏼

I am in America and the united Methodist church. The bishops have gone against what typically we believe in and our church voted and we have disassociated from the UMC. It’s hard because my husbands mother is a direct descendent of John Wesley. But you must do what the Bible says, and when a church goes with society and not God and not the Bible, then it’s wrong so we did the right thing.

God bless brother 🙏 🙌 I like to hear brother speaking the truth and being honest
2nd Timothy
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.
@@beautifulchlorophyll2285 You could say that I suppose But to say "It's simple" is a massive misrepresentation.
@@davidsprouse151 you're right, I will concede that it is not simple, perhaps I should have neglected to use those words

He is a wonderful man. He puts the case for the horror of abortion and the craziness of transgender.
May the Wisdom of the Holy Spirit be with him and guide him in his walk with the Lord... Amen
Shalom❤🙏
Calvin should be the archbishop of Canterbury, welby is a heretic.
Good point my Friend!

You can help lead the way because you have done the journey.
Dear God, please protect Father Calvin at all costs!!
