Just found your channel. Very entertaining! I laughed out loud at how stuck the piston was. :) I vote you keep going and build it into something cool. I also have a 75/5 I just started restoring and made a couple videos so far on my channel. Maybe we can help keep each other motivated! Cheers from NY USA. :)
Thank you for your comment. I am going away for a job trip now. Will continue the project in about three weeks. I fear this R75/5 is a "basket case" but I am going to make that decision when I have done some more checking. looking forward to check out your videos.
Why didn't you flood the cylinder with penetrating oil? Surely that would have helped. I vote you turn it into a cafe racer or scrambler. Love the look of these old air heads .
As a fellow co-worker to you and extremely tight to how things should be done in a correct manner - im a bit dissapointed. You should have called me for advises for this. I`ve been watching this over and over again, and every time it hurts my eyes. I have tears... I`m more or less traumatized by all the hammering and all the saws`all engagement.. You owe me a "twist" or two to get my mind back on track. Next time, i`ll tell you how to fix things like this with a coupling nut and a all-thread. ;-) Otherwise, -very much entertainment. 😀
keep going
Brutal..........
So cool! Gave me a good laugh !! Keep going
