Hi! My name is Christopher Odd and I’ve been playing video games on the internet for a few years. I really enjoy a variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (Bioshock, The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us etc), strategy/roguelike games (XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Darkest Dungeon, etc), and RPGs (Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Dragon Age, etc). Of course, I am always looking for great indie games too!

Disarm happens before damage does. You are A-Okay to use mercurial's kick on the explosion bots.
Disarm occurs, then push occurs, then finally damage (Which also means even if the kick didn't disarm you could kick them, as they get pushed away and then blow up from the damage)
Something to consider about leap with Weathervane, it is basically a teleport, similar to Rebounds Spin. You trade an Action for 3-5 Movement.

Yeah, this was a tricky one, even on Normal. I went in with the same team as you, but with a few more upgrades, and I still had to reload a few times to hit all the objectives. That said, the reinforcements aren't endless... the Company eventually runs out of robots to throw at you. Weathervane having Leap was extremely useful in being able to reposition him; having 3-5 extra movement at the cost of an action is absolutely worth it more often than you'd think. Also, when it comes to disarming the little bomb spider things, as long as you do at least 2 Disarm to them, they'll be defeated without exploding no matter how much damage you'd otherwise do to them. So you can use Mercurial's kick to safely defeat them, even if it looks like it would knock them into another member of your team.

Are there any actually feminine characters? There seem to be no women in this universe, only nonbinary angsty bipeds.
Seems like on a first run-through one should stick to the recommended team. I believe whoever is in the intro is who you should be taking. In this case Hyde, Mercurial, Ignis and Sam. Just an observation. 🙂
