Watching this reminds me of my father-n-law who passed a few years ago. he would find truck loads of these rocks and sell them for next to nothing to someone from OK. He once had one that weighed in well over 200lbs. He loved the hunt for shiny rocks and didn't do it for the money but if your pricing is anywhere close to accurate he was truly getting ripped off. Thanks for bringing back good memories of a great man.
Ikr, im very young (11-12) age group and i belive in crystals. My mom says i am too young to belive in anything. So we went on vactaion 4 days aho and i found crystals in the woods and she was like "oh this is quartz this is amethyst" and she pointed out a FRICKING GEODE AND ALSO PROCEEDS TO TELL ME IM TOO YOUNG TO BELIVE IN CRYSTALS.
I am fascinated by the way those crystals are found right on the surface. I have never seen any crystals here in the UK and I used to walk and explore a lot when I could walk. I have seen plenty of flint but live in a gravel and sand area, no rocks. Now I watch your videos and I love what you find. Thank you for showing me the wonders of what can be found. Take care my friend, and good luck Mary-Ellen UK
Yes, I’ve been all over and I’ve never seen such a spot like this, it’s in an area that is secluded from people so overtime they have decayed out to the surface, it’s an amazing place💎💎💎💎💎💎🙌
Ah Zelda...The lost woods song...Love the Zelda games! And I have been a rockhound all my life..Nothing better than collecting the world's "oldest antiques" ...As I call them... ;)
I am speechless and caught myself with my jaw just hanging open like an idiot.... No joke, this is simply amazing to watch what you guys found! Congratulations on your amazing finds. This earth is fascinating.
I have no social media other than UA-cam, so I hope you still share your awesome videos here, my friend.Thank you of all my heart for your precious work on making crystal videos.
O.....M......G! Other than the Herkimers.......THIS has to be my favorites! I love this type of crystal structures.....IF I ever get the chance to go digging......I think it may be in Missouri!!!!!
Thanks to you, I drove to AK from Boston and dug at the Coleman mine and Twin Creek. It was awesome and I got a decent haul! I stare at my table full of crystals and dream about the next time. Thanks Brian! Love the channel.
@@michaelblackwell7408 yeah. That’s a good place to find them. But growing up in Missouri, you see them all over the place, so my mind just sorta sees it as another rock. That being said, I’m a jeweler so my eye is more caught on slightly larger facetable stones with some color or brilliance. So even though this stuff is awesome for a lot of rock hounds and gem collectors, when I see it it’s just a little disappointing and a reminder that the geology of my home state just doesn’t have the fun stuff I like. :(. The woods look awesome a couple years after prescribed fires and tree thinning though. Amazing hill savannas.
Thank you so much, I will be in Missouri next week for a couple of weeks doing more digging! It’s such a cool and awesome place! You have a beautiful day as well🙌🙏
Originally from MO., my mother had a huge rock garden which were 98% from MO. So beautiful that when I sold her estate, neighbors asked for a remembrance to have for their gardens or homes.
Dear lord i fell outa my chair!! Lol. Beautiful finds. Wish i could be down there diggin some with yall. Sparkles just like the stars in the night sky. So beautiful! 👍✌😄😎💛💛💛💛
Cool vids! I’ve found some nice agates and quarts crystals around my home town in Minnesota. Blue lace agates and smokey quartz and gold bearing quartz and garnets and sapphires near my grandpas ranch in Montana. And some large quartz crystals from Arkansas. I’ll be heading to Missouri on business soon so I’m definitely going for a walk in the woods!! Keep up the good work my boy and I love to see all the treasures you unearth👍
I have been bingeing on your videos, lately... You are very entertaining to watch, and I learn a lot. Hopefully, I'll be able to put this knowledge to good use, someday... Digging for crystals is my dream....!!!❤❤❤
I am obsessed with this channel! I would love for you to do more teaching on the definitions of some of the rocks and crystals if you could! Love learning new things!
I enjoy watching your stuff over and over I just love it very much. I m in South Africa, I wish i can for only one day go in that mud and get myself a nice blue one. I JUST LOVE IT
Well damn, this is obviously a newly found location. Anybody... anybody.... would have taken these home long ago. Good on ya mate! This is absolutely epic!
How absolutely exciting! I know the feeling. I discovered an opalized log in the ground this summer. I live in California, and it's on forest service land... so I am limited for the amount I can bring home yearly/daily. Let us know when you're coming to the west coast, I'd gladly share my spot with ya.
Was with Shawn B from PA - The one he has is exquisite excellent video I don’t know how I missed this video I’ve seen the majority of yours he told me and also threw in the link excellent stuff
Yes, I find so much Joy and bringing people out to these locations, that’s why in the future I’m going to try my best to open up more and more, one main reason I do the videos also, thanks for watching🙌💎🙌🙏🙏👋👋
I’ve watched this video at least a dozen times! 🤣 I live in Missouri... I want to start a public pay to dig site soooo BAD!!! Just need that one winning ticket for start up capital!
I’d love it!!! I’ll set aside a digging fee and... 🤫 My lips are sealed. I think the Missouri druzy is not well known and undervalued in the gem and mineral community, but that’s changing fast. I believe the value of this type of material will probably double to triple over the next 10 or so years. I found a piece of this stuff as a kid in a parking lot and thought it was a once in a lifetime find lol. It’s less than a 2 hour drive for me to collect this stuff. Most of my life I had NO idea how abundant it was! Also love the variety of crystals! I’m hoping to find one that’s reddish from hematite inclusions. I’ve found a couple tiny pieces but a big one would be killer! Much love Bryan TY!
The Crystal Collector I am also in Missouri!! I am in college getting my bachelors in Geology & petrology!! I would love a fee dig or any information you may have!!
@@predictableally2144 This stuff is easy to find if you know where to go. It's laying on top of the ground all along the road outcroppings on Route C between Belgrade and Davisville.
As a 54yr old Missouri novice i love your vids. Have not really been anywhere yet. I plan on going down the road to Warsaw Mo area, and find me my first Mozarkite. Maybe go up northeast to the fox river area and look for my first geodes. I live close to sedalia und actually found on my property yesterday a single lava rock, scoria i believe. Odd it made it here im assuming from the southeastern Mo volcanic area. Not sure if glaciers moved it.
@@brockreynolds870the thing about going to public sites is they use a back hoe to dig up the crystals and they are all damaged and broken in some way. I really wonder where these guys are.
