Thanks for watching everyone! If you enjoyed please help by sharing the video to UA-cam, Facebook, etc. for your friends to enjoy!
Thanks for watching and your support!
I now have a bit of “merch” that I personally designed! check it out beneath the video! Thanks for the support 🙌🙏💜
FYI I'm also a photographer & if you are in my neck of the woods, I'd love to take some of you with little Matrix! My gift to you for everything you share with us 🙏❤
Do you know of a place in Southern California or anywhere in California where you can publicly dig for geodes or crystals?
Havent started watching the rock part of video yet. I just wanted to warn you. I know someone that let their dog hang out the window like that. He hit a bump and his dog flipped out of the truck and was run over and killed by the back tire. I would hate to see someone else go through that same pain.
Matrix has grown so much Brian. We can tell he's definitely a "rock hound" lol. Great looking geodes.
Im going to ace of diamond herkeimer mine this saturday, do you have any tips and tricks ?
Matrix looks like he has so much fun on your trips !! he looks so cute in his little life vest ! Thanks for bringing us along on your adventures. I really enjoy them !!!
What kind of dog is he? I want a Matrix puppy!
He's such a good boy.
Deanna Lowe, I think Brian said he was a Shi-Poo Part Shih Tzu Part Poodle. otherwise known as stinking cute !!!
oh i agree! such a precious and smart little guy (i dont know if its a he or she! OOPS LoL Anyway, Furbabys Dad is mighty handsome himself 🤭🤫 just a random fact :)
Eye candy all around! Brian, matrix, and crystals!!
Btw, if these are quartz based, after very thorough cleaning and sterilizing they make incredible additions to an aquarium. Some species will even breed inside them!
As cool as that would look, they are sharp and the fins might get ripped which can cause things like fin rot and it can let disease in. Cool idea but it might not be very good for the fins
@@crustycarl35 I keep geodes in my tanks and the fish seem fine after years
@@crustycarl35 epoxy coat the inside then
@@crustycarl35 lots of rivers and oceans contain sharp rocks ;)
I'm so thankful to you guys for keeping it clean! I teach 4th graders in California, but have fond memories of my Virginian dad finding geodes and doing lapidary work. He's gone now, but your videos enabled me to take my 29 little Californians on a field trip in Missouri with you. They were in awe, and I appreciate you making this possible for us. Thank you!
Where did your dad find geodes in Virginia? I am in va and thinking about looking for geodes?
I found it so amazing to see the geodes just lying about on the river side!! Terry was amazed as well, he is used to seeing parts of geodes in our son's shop but didn't realise they could be found in river banks. I loved watching Matrix scurrying around, he certainly gets to go to different places and enjoys them all bless him. Thank you for taking us along with you Bryan, I have enjoyed the experience. Take care my friend, good luck and happy fossicking Mary-Ellen UK
We find them in Tennessee creeks. I need to take the kayak in more rivers
@@deetngator1624 I live in Tenn and I live on a river and I’ve loved Geode’s all my life, and just love rocks period!! Never occurred to me to look for these fabulous and Beautiful geodes around where I live!!! But I will!!! God bless everyone and happy rock hunting!!! And does most of Tenn have them or only certain parts???
I am from Missouri. Glad to see my state has some interesting rocks. Matrix was happy too.
Your very lucky look what you can do with your spare time. And make some $$$ and getting some sunshine as well....
Same. I wonder what part of Missouri. I kayak big river some times, but I don't really see too much rock hanging out of the side of the bluffs, so I'm guessing not near me.
See folks, money doesn't grow on trees, you find it in rivers!
Shhhhhh!!!
Soo lucky you can do that, looks like fun, your dog is adorable.

We found a bunch of geodes just north of Alexandria, Missouri, In a creek. Awesome geodes. Going back next summer for the geode dig and geodefest. Cant wait.
I am a life long rock hunter collector. My uncle and I did it together and he passed away. Before I never had time raising kids to go hunting.. Kids are grown now. So I spend a lot of time rocking..
My dream is to find anything half as nice as you do.. im watching your videos and learning what to look for. You are a inspiration to me. I am so jealous. I look and look and never find hardly a thing. A few here and there. My bucket list number one is to find real crystals and beautiful gemstones . I live in missiouri in the ste.genevieve area..
This looks like so much fun! Ever since I found your channel I have really been wanting to go crystal hunting too. And Matrix is adorable 💜
You and Rob's willingness and efforts to keep it clean (language and contentwise) enables me to share your videos with my 4th grade students and other children and families. They learn a great deal about geology and also, through your example, how to be in the world, how we treat each other, how we talk to each other. Thank you, this is such a gift to all of us in California!
Thanks really awesome to hear! Gives me inspiration thanks
@@TheCrystalCollector Seriously, the kids need examples of good men now more than ever. Plus, thanks for taking us to the river with you to MO from CA; I wish we could make it in reality!
Matrix is awesome!!! I can feel your bond and it makes my heart swell!! There were few times he warned you about something. Never underestimate a small dog!!!
Sooooo unbelievably amazing...Thank u for sharing...bet those canoes were riding low in the water from the weight of those beauties...Matrix is adorable as always 🐶🐕...Many blessings...🙏💜
I love how you take Matrix on all these trips with you, that lil dog has a very enriching lifestyle
The rain kept me from hunting at Geode Fest this year. Thanks for another great video!
Man your Matrix is cute than ever. My favorite type of geodes. I remember when I went hunting for them in a river and very quickly we were able to sort hollow from solid.
Awesome & love the beautiful finds but, little Matrix always makes me smile, he's adorable! 🙏❤
Great video Bryan! What an amazing spot! Thanks for bringing us all along. Hopefully you’ll be selling some of the geodes! 💎👍🐶
Oh how much fun.....makes you want to dance sing amongst the sparklie ✨ sparklie shinning geo's....how beautiful .....geo heaven.....what an awesome adventure ...
Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
Thanks
Mary
The one with the hole in it would make an amazing candle holder! Love your videos, my dude! Really good vibes, as well as some amazing finds! Gives me the itch, for sure.
I too have had the pleasure of being in a river bed after a big wet.........its on thrill of a life time.......thank you for sharing your experience Mr Crystal & Matrix.
I've collected in a similar creek in NE Missouri, and I can't forget the one that got away. The creek was nearly dry and embedded in the rock floor was sticking out the top of what was at least a 3-foot diameter monster. There was no extracting it but I took the obligatory 20 whacks knowing that someone someday would make the lucky strike and crack it. The knobs on the outside of those big ones you have are frequently little geodes themselves. Oh - and there was an open one in the stream bank which had a beautiful red and orange agate filling - until it moved! - a corn snake had coiled itself inside the rock - LOL. Best wishes!
What neat finds and u all have such fun together....great friends..I would love finding the sea bisquits....so neat finding the old ones....thnx and looking forward to your next adventure 🐚
Loved this! This is so darn neat! I loved seeing matrix's tail Wag so hard at the end to
Now THAT'S the life!! Matrix is adorable - looks like he's having a great time as well 😀
Hey man, your channel is awesome, any chance you could do a video of your collection, stuff you just can not let go of, including and stories of offers you've turned down if any.. Like your ultimate whaaaatt's lol
Awesome bro! Glad we could have such an epic adventure.hope we have many more to come.
I found one in my backyard it almost shaped like a eggplant, but it was half way open with purple and reddish crystals looks amazing in the sun light.
WHAT A SPOT!! (humming big rock candy mountain)
also I love those druzy formations from missouri that are like clouds.
How truly spectacular! Thanks to you two for sharing with the world the beauty that surrounds us, if we look intently.
I am so glad he kept the flat bottom medium size geode! I would put a small candle in it and watch it sparkle and dance around my room! Beautiful! I am Always be grateful for what GOD has given us! I notice how amazed CC gets when he sees Crystal's! He is always gracious and stays positive in all his videos. He is blessed to be able to do what he does! Thanks for sharing your informative, adventures with us rockhounds! Btw! Your little rock hound Matrix has got to be one of the cutest puppy I have seen in a while! He is adorable!
Awesome pieces! Assuming these are Warsaw formation in the northern part of the state, from the looks of them, yes? Last time up that way (and it was a long time ago) I did better in central Indiana than i did near Keokuk. Guess I need to head back that way.
Oh my lord I just LOVE LOVE LOVE WATCHING YOU!!!!I am housebound and love crystals your so interesting and your knowledge is impeccable!! Plus you make me laugh also! I live in the uk and wish I could teleport over to you lol I love the crystals you find I love geodes can you fly one over to me lol I keep looking on your web site to buy one I will defo buy one! One day!! ❤️❤️❤️
Years ago...went camping at Dale Hollow Lake...located at the Tennessee-Kentucky line. I couldn't believe all the Geodes...they were literally everywhere!
I’m planning a trip that way soon. Could you give me more info as to where at by the lake please ??
@@heathermarietrembly5480 We stayed at the Willow Grove Campground in Allons, Tennessee
Brian you're just magical 🌟 look at you breaking that geode in half... go on with your bad self. Lol 😳☺😂
Makes you wish you brought a bigger boat!
JAWS "Were going to need a bigger boat" !!! hahaha
Nice finds. These look like they are mostly filled with quartz, which stays intact and lustrous a lot better. I prefer them over the calcite ones, though some of those can have nice big standalone crystals inside.
Wow...so awesome... Always exciting to watch as you discover hidden gems and ctrystals. But what a great find after the storm, just out there for the picking!! Beautiful ❤
OMG.............if I could could do this I would.......simply HEAVEN!!!! Would LOVE to find some like these and put my gem trees inside them......hands are a mess and have not made any trees for over 1 1/2 years BUT.....seeing these geodes makes me wanna break out my wire, gems and start back creating!!!!!! FLIPPING AWESOME.....TY hun!!!!! HOPE to see these all cleaned up the rest of the way..........just might inspire me totally to ignore the pain in my hands and get back to creating!!!!!
i went to woodbury tn and found a bunch of giant geodes on Sunday so its cool that you've been digging geodes also
You are so much fun to watch! Its almost like being there myself, except I din’t get to keep any of the geodes or crystals for myself. 😁

Lots of great geodes. Lots of fun watching and they are beautiful to see !!
Awesome adventure whaaaaaaaat magnificent geodes such crystal structures beautiful what a honey hole I think you need a bigger boat awesome awesome
With a classic quote from the movie JAWS . " WE ARE GOING TO NEED A BIGGER BOAT"
Can anybody please tell me what dog breed Matrix is? He is just the cutest! Love the rocks too!
Half shihtzu half poodle 💜
@@TheCrystalCollector I used to call my Chewey a Shit a Poo.
Janners Crystal Collection Heaven lol
I have a shihpoo too! He’s an awesome pup! It’s a great mix. And I call him a shitty-poo. Lol
I remember finding geodes in a dry riverbed back east somewhere. It was so fun! Amazing to open up a rock and find beautiful crystals inside.
That first geode you showed looked like some crystal lips !! So icy 🤪 beautiful ❤️
When looking into a geode, just imagine it as a micro world and what it would be like to be able to walk around in it. Thank you for sharing.
I have too! Ever see the 1950's-60's movie Journey To The Center Of The Earth? If not I know you would enjoy it.
This must be what RockHounders Heaven looks like....😇🍻🍻👍👍
That’s crazy! Beautiful finds. Matrix looks like he loves rock hunting too.
The area yall were in was beautiful! i wish i could live somewhere like that, in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by All those crystals 😍 I Loved watching this one!! 🙌🏼
Love your videos! Amazing finds!
Matrix is so precious. Great video as usual! 😇
This is so cool! 😎 Although I have no rockhound experience, I've always loved rocks since I was a kid. I have no idea where to start but I'd love to go treasure hunting and find stuff like this! Thanks for sharing! 😊
You have some nice geodes, but your puppy with his coat looks so sweet..🥰❤❤🐕🦺👍🖐
Wow this was amazing! So many great finds!
I need your life!!!! Lol! I have collected geodes since I was a child, this is awesome!
This is really cool! I'm a huge crystal fan. My grandma used to tell me fairies lived in geodes, so to always be respectful of their "home". 🍀☺
Glad to see you made it to the fox !! We had gotten a lot of rain in the last month. Makes for good hunting
Ain’t nothin better than cracking open a geode 😉
Thank you for another great adventure 🤗
Matrix is just the CUTEST! So happy you have a lil rock hound ❤️
Totally addicted to your vids 🌟🌟🌟 can't wait to see you crack open all those geodes 😍🌟 watching from New Zealand 🌏
Talk about “easy picken’s”! I’d give ANYTHING to go there. You could pick up enough geods in a week to live off the profits for a year💜
Wow what does your name mean please?
Looks like Arlene spelled backwards!
Oh my whooooo i just bellowed the word wow no joke like 7 times in the entire video my daughters are already irritated with my crystal and rock obsession and. My uncontrollable verbal reactions to this killer video drove them even more. Nuts hahahahahahaha man your Herkimer Diamonds in NY or your Amethyst in North Carolina those two videos were badass but I'm telling you this is my favorite one and it's not even good quality I can feel your energy it's just I could tell how excited you are and I felt it we were all right there with you every time I watch your videos I'm like okay this is where I want to spend my retirement dirty and in a desert or on a riverbank hot broke looking for crystals sell the house give away the cat get a fix me up trailer LOL I'm ready keep doing what you're doing man. Always make my day your living my dream
That’s so cool!! Keep an eye out, we will be doing some public digs this year
18:50 and 19:05 These are gorgeous. These have to be my favorite pieces of your crystals found ❤
Wow I've just watched this geode video in Australia and I must say I'm mighty impressed I'd go as far to say that I have geode envy mind blowing indeed.
Good stuff Crystal collector‼️‼️‼️
This video reminds me of that time I went creek walking and found my first geode. It was beautiful! I also found some pretty river rocks but I might just go back and see if theres more 👌
Matrix makes all of your videos that much more fun to watch😆 Definetly a good natured dog.
It's not fair! We don't have anything like the treasure troves you find on your side of the world! I have always wanted to be able to find and collect beautiful stones all of my life, but unfortunately, there aren't any places like that where I live. You are blessed!
Matrix is one lucky pooch, getting to go adventuring with y'all. And he's so fuggin cute! 😝
Yes 🥺
Love love love. Wish i was there!!!
I started hunting geodes with my siblings on our Great Aunt and Uncles farm. I was 5. Their farm was on the Mississippi. I never get tired of them. Each one is unique. Soak them in a bucket of bleach water for a week and they sparkle like crazy. Good to see it excites you too.
I hope you are at least half as happy as you seem and would have to be living this fun adventure lifestyle. Enjoy every second! So lucky!
Just watched the video again. Can't imagine finding a place like that
I’d really like to go hunting for Geoid Hunting.. love them ..
Man the quality of your videos just keeps getting better and better. Your videos are my favorite out of all my subs, keep it up man
thanks for making them. I love rocks and minerals and it's really cool that you're making it fun to watch a video of you discovering them. I'm out of Southern Ontario and I love rock hunting on Lake Huron, I find all sorts of fossils and interesting rocks. Hopefully you do more in Canada because I'd love to see more locations and where I could possibly go to hunt for minerals!
Thanks so much! I’m trying!
They are so beautiful.. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful! Thank you!
He literally yeeted that dog out the canoe 😂
Oof
Go! Matrix!
Almost EVERYWHERE you picked up a geode, I saw Indian artifacts... especially pristine, unbroken arrow heads.... WHY did you NOT collect those as well?? What a treasure trove... and so lucky for you to take the trip.... A collector’s dream come true for sure. Very cool video. Peace 💜
Beautiful finds 😍 absolutely massive in comparison to some I've found here in the UK 😊
Very cool who knew thats how they are formed !!
It was so beautiful you made my day, thank you from the old lady
Some of the pieces are just gorgeous, I wish I was in expeditions like this!!! Lucky you.
I encourage you to stop by Southern Michigan sometime! We don't have super great stuff (other than those Yooperlites and Agates) but the South West area has a large limestone layer, and in several places in the Bellevue area you can find great Calcite and pyrite crystals, and if your lucky, calcatized fossils!
Cutest doggie ever! Great geodes
Awesome video! Makes me excited to want to hunt some Geodes and other gems. Any locations in Central Florida?
Rucks pit is all I know about
@@TheCrystalCollector where is rucks pit? I'm located in the Gainesville Florida area near the springs in North Central Florida and my son has inherited my love for crystals and rocks especially when we go treasure hunting. With the current situation going on and schools closed for the remainder of the year I'd love for him to experience this.
Thank you for sharing your experiences hunting for crystals. Very inspiring 💎😀
Have you found any places in Florida? I'm in North Central Florida Gainesville area. I've always wanted to do this.
I'm almost sick seeing all those goods. What a great score. Keep having fun and thanks for sharing!
Hi, i was sent here by Jake. I love this topic, and i love all of the beautiful things you find. Amazing! Don't ever stop!! What kind of crystals are in those?
Yay another new vid!!! :)
You should have someone make you a classy display with an LED light to set that one with the hole on.
man how cool you find easy geodes near the river! see how you leave the geodes there, when the viewer is looking at this behind the screen wanting one, they are so beautiful!
Wow absolutely stunning wish I had one, thank you for sharing.
I love Matrix he’s so sweet. I’ve never heard of Geodes I’ll have to google that
I dont like rocks but hell this makes me want to go look for these beauties 😍
How are you gonna say you don’t like rocks🤡
Lol Diamonds are rocks!
Their not just normal rocks 🪨
Wait a sec... why you don't like rocks?
what did rocks ever do to you, huh?
That piece at 6:19 is like it's smiling back at you. What a mental fun float. I want to go there!! Great stuff man
Oh wow that’s cool, you’re exactly right I never noticed that!
