@@yardhostler3728 facts man. Like in the early 2000s 300hp was very respectable power level and you’d see that in top of the line sports car sedans and certain sports cars. Vs now your see 300 in like your average V6 grocery getter.
This man and that shop is super legit. If you got a S-550 Coyote Mustang 5.0 or a beast of a GT500. You have to take it to this man and this shop ASAP.
Ken, I appreciate and respect the methodical approach to the modifications and testing you are doing. I'm in NY and can't get away with the same "kind of fun" Floridians do. I've done a number of mods to my own '20 GT500 but can't ditch the cats as much as I want to. Thankfully, they can't stop the want so I watch these videos with a jealous grin. Keep up the good work.
It's always interesting to follow the work that you do with this machine ! But honestly, Every time I see that Car in that Color my heart melts ! And the sound, Damn !
Good job. I really like testing of single components. In many instances people will say they put on headers and got a result, but they also changed x, y and z at the same time, so never really know the true effect of the component.
On stock manifold it made 856whp at 7900 rpm , after installing headers and make some tune adjusment it made 875whp BUT this time at 8400 rpm !!!!! Undoubtedly it will make more power Much different between top end rev , however the LTH it wont require for this level of power , 1000whp+ you will need the LTH
Great contents I suggest to do a video about weight reduction part like new bear brakes battrey and the wheels with details like how much weight brakes shaves off not only seats and delete back seats these new gt500 you can easily get power but it's to heavy if you can shave 200 lbs pound with brakes wheels battrey it will be a big improvement
We can do a brake video on a Mustang GT but I sure hope no one would put Baer brakes on this!!! That would be a sin IMO. That's more for a drag car setup and I don't think many are building GT500 drag cars. We will drag race them but most don't want to ruin what makes the car so special. And the braking is a big part of that.
I have and recommend the Whipple but it's not installed yet. I don't think KB has one out for this yet. It would make sense to do it all at once but I'm doing one thing at a time to help everyone see this progress step by step
Awesome! Shaving weight is always great but I wouldn't take such a great piece off of the car like the brakes. The Anderson carbon hood weighs 20 lbs less than stock. That might be a good place to start
Problem with those short ram air filters is that they create no suction when driving. It just sucks up the air in the engine and some from outside. But no suction like the stock air system. That's why I love the Corvette's air system. They usually have it right at front
The JLT and other still use the air inlet from the front grille. I haven’t personally experienced any difference in IAT’s after installing my JLT on my 2021 . But did shave 0.3tenths off my 60-130 times 😊
Headers are great but not worth the money to buy and have installed. Almost 3 grand for my roush mustang installed and probably only getting maybe up to 30 more hp.
A lot louder. I just installed a set with Corsa Extreme cat back with a double h pipe. Normal mode is almost equivalent to having stock manifolds and cats with the corsa extreme cat back in track mode. Track mode now becomes headers with 3” pipe. Quote mode gets you out of your neighborhood but it’s definitely much louder and much deeper.
WOW great stuff but i wonder for each state what the EPA regulations and emission regulations are and how many cars out there are technicaly not road safe or even roadworth due to the emissions regulations in each state, just saying that all, not once have i seen any upgrades to any cars performance which still keeps the emissions in check wwith each state, etc. :)
AS TORQUE AND HP CHANGES IN GEARS AND RPM. WHY NOT DYNO TEST GOING THRU ALL THE GEARS AS YOU WOULD DRAG RACING. I THINK IT WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS TO DO SO. IT WOULD BE INTERESTING TO SEE THE TORQUE NUMBER IN FIRST THRU 7TH, AND HP AS WELL. AS WE KNOW LOWER GEARS GIVES YOU MORE ASPHALT TORQUE. GOT IT!!!.
Cool video, gains were good. I'd speculate 910-915hp after the ported blower and throttle body upgrades, maybe more. I guess it depends on who does the porting and what throttle body you use. GD LUCK 👍, more power is Good
I hope you are able to do throttlebody only, then with ported supercharger. Would be interesting to see any gains eith just throttlebody. Mainly because it seems when people do the intake they typically do the throttlebody as well.
We already did that. There were zero gains as expected. The stock flange is restrictive so that needs to be opened up for the throttle body to help. We will mention that in the porting video.
I’m here to speculate who he is gonna use to port the blower. My instinct says Kong but I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t go elsewhere just throw everyone off.
I haven't heard of any failures on a modified vehicle. We have multiple cars above 900 wheel with no issues so far. I'm sure we will need a clutch upgrade at some point
I helped start up a shop in wpb then got let go because of politics. I am a customer service specialist. I hope to see you at cars and am rooting 4 you to always beat my former shop.spiteful and a little petty , but soo what.

It sounds awesome. I still can't get over how good it looks in blue.
What blue is that?
Bradley Pfeffer looks like velocity blue
2020 color is ford performance blue metallic
900rwhp on stock blower pulley ratio is insane. Amazing what we can build today
for real. I remember thinking back in the day that nothing like that would ever be possible
900hp is the new 500hp 😂💪🚀🏎🇺🇸 Crazy how 600, 700, 800 seems normal these days!
Yup, back in high school in the 90s I thought my neighbors z28 with 275hp was a lot 🤣😂
That blue is sweet! And those headers looked so clean under there and sound great!

875rwp with bolt-ons , just letting the engine breathe while still using factory pulley's/factory blower !
That factory blower is the largest TVS blower on any factory vehicle.
Those blowers can make 1kwhp without much work.

Eh I've been Catless. You should have 5 years before inspection no? I know a lot of guys in NY/NJ running no cats
@@732Mopars Nope. Still had to obtain an inspection sticker. I stood right there as they plugged into the port and answered questions.
@@raymondrumbundaberg didn't run Catless for that long. It was just to hear what it sounds like, which is way better than with cats.
8500RPM on this V8 sounds so scary to me when the stock is 7500. Curious how that'll hold up long term.
Probably not long
I noticed he does that (pulls to 8500 on his dyno runs). I would hope not on customer cars.
@@maximusvonce1381 over two years later. Cars still run like this and hold up perfectly. Thought you should know.

Long tubes only add 20wheel. So $2500-$3k total for 20wheel. No thanks
Great power gains, can't wait to start doin some mods on my brother's gt500

Nice work, love how that dct rips through the gears. Any concerns about how much more power the dct can hold?
Freyja Frigg the 2020 gt-500 has a dct trans not a 10 speed auto. Nothing out there shifts as fast as a dct transmission.
Coming along great Ken!

Thanks for the informational video.I am interested in seeing just how much hp is gained from porting.
Great video Ken
Thanks 👍
At what rwhp level does the dct start needing clutches
The way the engine shakes when you let off is violent. Are you running pump fuel at that level?
No, just larger injectors are needed at this level. We have made 950 without any other changes. Above that we recommend a fuel pump booster
Ken, at what point will 1-7/8 headers become a restriction ?
Looking forward to see just how much hp porting produces.
Man that thing is a beast.
Holy shit so this is the future. Flying cars these days is what these factories are putting out
What color is the blue mustang mustang
Dam that mustang looks and sounds good.
Bruh ... I just got my whip and u about to put me back in Debt.. man that thang is nice
Are these catless or with green cats? I have a gt500 and I’m trying to decide if I should go catless or green cats

Howd you get the carbon wheels
Weird question but do you think the gt and gt500 and gt350 headers all fit the same ?
So the gt500 doesn’t have a maf?
How are the Kooks headers holding up? any issues so far ?
What color code is your gt500? Thanks

Can you please give me the wheel studs specs you are using for your CF wheels?
