Those formations you were wondering about are helectites. They are formed when wind currents within the cave stop the water from falling off the formation directly, causing them to form 21:15 into oddly curved straws. Nice video
@16:18 minutes in one of the formations that is centre screen when you pan your head around looks like a huge blue stone man and just before that the other formations above you way up high in the ceiling look like enormous spine. They should call that area rock monster pit or something. Thankyou so much for uploading such cool videos. These caves are just so beautiful and the adventures you have look like so much fun. 🤘😃
Thanks guys, great video! I went into a few caves in Indiana when I was in high school but now am too old for such adventures, thanks for sharing so I can still enjoy!
Where is this. Beautiful colorful and interesting shaped formations! Animal bones? Wonder how long been down there? All the blue color is amazing and surprising 😮! Thanks for sharing this fun video!
Awesome video! I had a chance to drop this pit back in March and the waterfall was flowing a lot more. A friend suggested we go up to see the skeleton but we were short on time. If you follow that sloping mud down to the lowest point, there’s a light squeeze that leads to a beautiful stream passage. Lots of flowstone and formations down there. If you go up the mud/moss slope there’s another crawly passage that has some crinoid fossils in the walls.
Now I’m subscribed to the other half of the duuuuuuuuuuuude brothers lol. I just love watching y’all explore the outdoors. Reminds me of my childhood we played lol outside til the streetlights came on
hello, first vid I have seen from your channel, wow! how many holes in the ground are in that forest? such a beautiful forest....it would have swallowed me! how often do you find animal bones that far into a cave? are they usually solitary or have you ever come across piles of mixed bones? (fell in and starved vs predator favorite dining area?) have you found odd animals or other entities? was it a comfortable temperature when you got to the back of the cave? what kind of footprints we're on the ground that you had commented on? thank you for sharing this video. it was amazing. some areas almost look like a naturally formed cathedral! it's scary only having a single beam of light in there! I kept waiting for you to look to the side and see someone/something like RIGHT next to you! all the best to you & yours! ♥️🙏♥️
That's alot of questions. And I'll try to answer as many as I can. The area where this cave is at has quite a few caves most of which are pits much smaller than the one in the video. Finding bones of bats and rats is common but finding bones of larger mammals that deep in a cave is kinda rare. Predators don't tend to drag Thier kills to far underground because they can't see with no light any better than a human. But I have seen large pikes of deer bones in front of caves. In tag cave temperature stays between 57 and 60°F all year so comfortable until you get wet. The foot prints I seen on the ground where rats. And thanks for watching.
@@Underground_Adventures thank you so much for answering! I can be an awful question box at times! but you had so many neat things in your vid! waaaay better than any documentary! rats! I was getting tense watching because of the limited scope of your light, I was waiting to see something looking back at you! thank you again! I can't wait to see what you do and see next! all the best! ♥️🙏♥️
I was thinking about maybe black lighting or ultraviolet and how that might look. It might bring more likes more subscribers to your channel. Heck Niagara Falls has many views just for bouncing colors behind them

Sub #106 👋 cool cave. I know where a cave is in Alabama that I have permission to explore and video but I can’t find anyone to go with me 🤔. It hasn’t been explored for more than a hundred years according to the property owner. Everyone is afraid of it because of the small entrance and a little bit of water flowing through it. I’m really anxious to explore it. If you guys know anyone in central Alabama who may be interested let me know plz
