@namuhammedrafi2895 I see it in younger people and it blows my mind, more so as I don't see a lot of older people having it! (Unless through natural ageing ofc)
@@Im_here_lol btw found out that Isntree has a product called 'C-niacin Toning Cream', the main ingredients being sea buckthorn extract (rich in vitamin C), retinol, and niacinemide. 20 bucks for 50ml. I'm sure the extract isn't as potent as vitamin C, as a dedicated serum, but it's probably better than nothing. Also kind of curious about the formulation, because usually it's adviced not to use vitC and retinoids simultaneously, since they counteract each other's effects. If it's a good formula and this has been counteracted somehow, then this seems like a good and cheap vitamin C option for use in the mornings, with additional retinoids to a nighttime routine. So for a person who's main thing is retinoids, but wants some added benefits of vitamin C in their am routine. They also have an ampoule version of this btw. Gonna order it and see if it's any good, because don't have no 70 bucks to drop on a 20ml serum 😭
Did you ever check out Timeless Vit C 20% and 10% both with the same ingredients as SkinCeuticals? It's a lot cheaper and comes in airless glass pump bottles.
@@katea9689 2-4 weeks. I must tell you that I use sunscreen every day without fail. I feel like Major Fade helps my sunscreen do its job better. I've seen improvement in my sun spots and rosacea. It's the first Vitamin C product to not inflame my skin. Hope this helps.
I would rather the pump with the Vit C. I want to try the Pillowtalk as soon as I save up for it. In the meantime, I have already subscribed to Doc's videos, so I have watched the full video of her explaining Vit C serum choices and why. I am going to go with CeraVe right now because I rarely follow a regime and am attempting to step up on working on my skin health, my overall health, too! As I sing, "It's now or never!"☺️
It would be great if you could recommend some more reasonably priced Vitamin Cs. You only recommended two - both very expensive and only one of them available where I live.
How do I stop sharing of my my personal information easily? This problem is enough for me to not purchase. The option should be simple for your customers.
Rec for eye cream to specifically target drooping eyelids (in my mid 30s now)? I get milia along my lash line so do want to be mindful of that as well. TYSM! Your videos have been lifesavers.
Save your money and do something that actually works. Like a blepharoplasty or face lift. There are no creams that can lift sagging skin, its impossible. Your face falls with age, theres no way around it
The only thing inactive form of vit C does is making u spend money, even active form is probably not doing much given so many little details like formulation, ph, freshness etc. that need to be in tact
Love your channel and you! Can you review the C E Ferulic Skinceutical versus C E Peptides from Vivier? I tried to buy your products, but it seems like I cannot. I am Canada.
I'm NOT SURE about this, but I just suddenly had an idea about that: Maybe they use dropper on propose? Because it's just like what you said, you have to use it FAST. And if you use it fast, and if you find it effective, then you're just gonna keep purchasing it, right? So maybe that's why?
If your skin can tolerate them together- vit c and tret, you should be fine. Especially with this kind. That’s exactly why she used that type of Vit C because it can be used with anything. I use Vit C every morning and night, and tret at night and my skin is doing fantastic:)
I'm based in Europe and always on the hunt for a good vit c. Can you please take a look into elmt pure vitamin c element? They claim to have a revolutionary packaging that helps L ascorbic acid to be only combined with the lotion/cream when pumping as far as I understand.

I've never used vitamin C. Currently I use nothing more than a moisturizer--sometimes. I have no skin care routine but I've been learning a lot with you, Dr. How often should I use vitamin c as a beginner? I would be most likely to buy the purple pillow talk vitamin c you showed. I sometimes have dry and sometimes combo skin that is also blackhead and pimple prone/sensitive? (I think I live in a humid-ish climate.) If I can use it at night, as I would also like to start using retinol 1×week (lowest % but idk what brand is good), should I put it on when I use retinol or no? If yes, does the vitamin C go after or before the retinol?
Hello, I have really sensitive , flakey skin and everything seems to bother it, would your pillowtalk moisturizer. you just mentioned be a good option for me? I have been struggling finding products that work for me. Wish you were closer so I could have a consult.

Thank you for giving knowledge! In which percentage is Tetrahexydecyl ascorbate in your moisturizer? And what percentage of Tetrahexydecyl ascorbate or ascorbyl tetrasopalmitate is best and enough?
You've taught me so much, Dr. Idriss, and I'm very grateful. I can't wait to try your products! I want all of it, but I'm waiting for another sale on the bundle, lol. My skin is good enough to where I don't "need" face foundation, but I have noticed increased redness this summer. P.S. How much is one of those special sunscreen coverage testers and where can I buy one? 😄
What about the glow rceipy vit C serum? It has 5 formas of vitC derivatives including Tetra one and has trnexamic acid. I am slightly oily skin. Please review for us. I would love to buy your line but where i live it would cost me a lot
What about MDAIRE vitamin C-FK? Also expensive but also in a pump so prevents oxidation? Is this a better choice than the Skinceuticals since Skinceuticals will oxidize in the dropper packaging?
Hello Dr Idriss!! I am huge fan of yours❤️❤️❤️ I just had a small question...i was thinking of starting out retinol and as you have said lower percentages and consistency is key so I was gonna go for a product with 0.1% retinol+ 0.5% granactive retinoid+bakuchiol ...is this Formulation beginner friendly and sensitive skin friendly?
Is it OK to incorporate the inactive form of Vitamin C with Retinol Serum? What do you think if we use retinol serum at night, then seal it with your 2 in 1 cream?
Is the pillowtalk derm cream good for sensitive skin? Do you make little testers ? I started using retinol because of acne and it's made my skin even more sensitive to products that didn't do anything before retinol... I guess I should wait before adding a vitamin C product
Am I supposed to use a vitamin C serum in the mornings and combine it with your pillow talk term moisturizer with vitamin C or is that too much vitamin C?
I've heard of using the sandwich method for applying retinol, but can vitamin C also be applied this way on sensitive skin or while my skin is healing from an angry breakout?
Yes! You can always use the sandwich method, just know that it might lessen the effect of the active ingredient some, but it will still be more effective than not being able to use it at all. 👍🏻 Good luck!! 💞
