How long were you taking them for and what dose, really happy for you that you have managed to quit them, I'm on day 8, and I'm getting really bad bursts of adrenaline like feeling in my head!, are you familiar with this?, to top it off I got COVID yesterday and it made these adrenaline type bursts in my head a lot worse !

@@stevenvitali7404 you need to understand that withdrawal is not an easy thing. But the end goal is the focus here. You have to embrace the pain first. Tell yourself you deserve the pain, that it's part of you. Your body would start to adjust to it. Exercise will also help with the adrenaline burst. Eat a lot of fruits and take fluids a lot too. Try not to stay idle. Read, play games, or do whatever hob y that makes you happy. You'd be fine in no time

Took it on and off (mostly on) as a low dose for over 6 years. Never had issues with it. Been off for 2+ yrs now.
As any narcotic or additive substance, you need to be careful. Monitor yourself. See your prescribing doctor regularly. And if you feel you are becoming dependent-talk to your doctor ASAP!!!!
Some people are, by nature, more likely to become addicted to substances than other people.

One point that is important to mention. Tramadol contains a component that is similar to an antidepressant. This is why it is so addictive and why people find it impossible to withdraw from. The side effects of withdrawal are similar to withdrawing from an antidepressant. Please research and mention this in your videos. Thank you.

    🚨 PLEASE READ 🚨
Tried tramadol recreationally for the first time. I didn’t know 2 days of no sleep before would make it so much worse. I had mini blackout every few minutes, even driving to school my legs felt floaty but not in a good way, my legs twitched and I would have blackouts ON THE HIGHWAY. I am so tempted to try it again, but since it was from Mexico and I have no prescription I don’t have the chance to try it normally. This was off of a 100mg tablet cut into two half’s, one eaten at 6:30 am and one eaten at 8:30am. The high lasted until 11:30 that night. It was bad apart from the somewhat enjoyable feeling of warm blood in my body. If you want to try tramadol recreationally, divide the pill if you can and don’t dive into the deep end. Also get a good nights sleep before you do. Final note: the whole high I could only think about how half of a pill when I smoke weed would be great. Haven’t tried it, and I won’t. Please be careful unlike me.
Edit: I dissolved all of them in water and flushed them. No more tramadol ever again.

I was on Tramadol from 2012 to three months ago. I had nerve damage done to my leg from a broken leg and four surgeries. The doctor said I would be on it for the rest of my life. In 2014 I was diagnosed with growth hormone deficiency. I went from 128 to 171 in six months. Two years later I was diagnosed with Sjogren's. My husband died of COVID a year ago, we had Ivermectin and the Chetty protocols but the hospital refused to let me use them so I watched him suffocate for eleven days. I also have COPD and Sleep Apnea. I am seventy-four years old and that picture is three years old. My endocrinologist put me on Victoza which helped me lose sixteen pounds and stayed off for two years. But after Lary died I went down to 148 but in the last three months, I have gone back up to one hundred seventy-one, after weaning myself off of the Tramadol. What is causing this? I really need help.

To those of you going full cold turkey. I commend you but the problem with that is you still end up relapsing as your body is not mentally prepared for that type of stop. Best way to stop tramadol is a careful and well thought taper schedule. I've done cold turkey twice and relapsed a couple weeks later but with my taper schedule it's getting easier. Good luck to we addicts out there.

I remember the first time I was prescribed tramadol it was not a controlled drug in those days.
I can’t count the number of doctors that said this medication was non addicting..I took the medication daily for years and abruptly stopped without any withdrawal..I did the same thing with extended release Morphine due to the sudden death of my prescriber.,Morphine Withdrawals are the worst form of sickness I have ever felt..The flu x 100 does not come close. Just strange I guess how some long term users of Tramadol get withdrawal, others don’t..

      Of course,as a synthetic opioid,it is addictive.
If you need or want to stop, reduce the doses on a long run, until you jump out.Ok?
And do not worry too much,it is bearable.
I am an old toxico, and all opiates and opioïds are not easy to quit, tramadol is one of the easiest if you reduce the doses at a minimum possible before stopping totally.
Always Ask your doctor before because everybody can react differently.
      Courage and good luck!😊

I just find it strange that certain drugs that have addictive properties get FDA approval and are not even a scheduled drug..Tramadol was absolutely not a scheduled drug when it first was approved for US consumption..Carisoprodol also a similar story..I didn’t personally have any withdrawal from Tramadol..I think I took 6 or 8 a day for a few months..Put it this way Tramadol was nothing compared to coming off 180 mg per day of Morphine..Not in the same stratosphere..I agree with always asking your doctor because it’s very true people are different..It just amazes me how many people claim Tramadol withdrawal is horrendous..

I was taking tramadol for 10 1/2 years, along with Gabapentin and Baclofen. I stopped taking tramadol after 4 days of using Dr. Schuessler's mineral cell salts (non-toxic or addictive). I haven't had RLS, since Jan 14, 2022. I'm on day 3 of not taking Gabapentin (200mg) and Baclofen (25mg). Definitely struggling with sleep at the moment from not taking the Gabapentin and Baclofen.
