I have a suggestion for these type of tutorial videos: Mention the fact that you need to train flexibility on setups as well as setting up from very fast balls and multiple situations other than simply rolling balls up the wall that happen to be lined up with a big boost. Air mechanics are pretty worthless if you need more time to set them up than your opponents will give you (ball chasing/insta-challenge is very common and the players who do it only get faster as you rank up). I think this kind of content is great to have for new players but its also just as important to showcase the true difficulties of translating these mechs into an actual game, which is what makes pros shine brighter and brighter the more you understand quality touches and quick setups. Keep it up though!

All of these kinds of videos put a disclaimer like “if you want to rank up, air dribbles are not important, you should focus more on…”, but I just want to use the flashy move cause it’s fun, not cause it’s better.
Good tutorial, also good tip is to let go of boost before contact with the ball mid air to prevent pushing it away from your car, but after that tiny tap you want to boost again to keep up and let go again before contact.. and you're good to go :)

I have a hard time setting up the shot on free play at the moment. I use Wayton air dribble pack to get use to the set up. Even then it's hard to hit it exactly towards the goal. I just need practice lol. That's the secret.

A tip for air dribble beginners which took me a long time to figure out myself: for the adjustment after your touch off the wall, hold your jump and air rol adjustment simultanously. Otherwise you'll un-align yourself by adjusting your car on the wall right before you jump

And theyre convinced thats actually a proper way of playing out the attack/counterattack IN 2S MODE 🤣
I have 2 questions. 1 What do i do if in the iar dribble i get in front of the ball? 2 How to flick after the ball like if the ball is too fast and you can't just doble jump you need to flick after it and how to flickl after it to not bounce the ball away from you?

fun fact: there's another (albeit not super relevant) reason why air rolling during air dribbles is helpful. The car spins at different speeds on different axes, pitch is actually the slowest, roll is obviously the fastest, and yaw is in the middle, so by turning your car on it's side your pitch adjustments will actually be a little faster (but overall this just isn't really relevant at all and tbh just doesn't matter) this is a fun fact, not a helpful fact 😉

I would just suggest trying these set ups in 1v1 against an oppenent. That gives it the challenge of overal game sense
This is why I tend to prefer ground to air dribbles off of bounces

3:43 easily the best advice I've seen in any air dribble tutorial, all the other ones I've have either failed to mention this, or weren't clear
Good tutorial, also good tip is to let go of boost before contact with the ball mid air to prevent pushing it away from your car, but after that tiny tap you want to boost again to keep up and let go again before contact.. and you're good to go :)

And being able to go across the whole field from your net is helpful in many situations even if you don’t get it in net

What's the cam settings?
If your struggling in free play you can just go to settings and change game speed slower.

Hey Spookluke, I have a question on controls. Is it okay to put Powerslide, Air roll, and Boost on the same button?
No. Point blank. If you do that then you cant power slide cut. Can’t recover as smoothly. And can’t air-roll (not directional) without boosting
