So glad I found your videos! My treadmill won't turn on at all, not even the console. I'm trying to figure out if my control board is bad. I have only the first 2 lights lighting up on the control board. Is there anything I can try before I assume I need a whole new control board?

Joanna Wayton sorry I do not the green wire is the ground and is held in by a Phillips head screw . The green wire is a ground wire and never heard it to cause a short. Thanks for the video, how do I know if it’s my control board or motor that is not working? I have an F63 and the belt no longer turns, a message on the screen says “slow speed” where can I find the serial number so I can email you info?

Main difference is power but most work the same .But I am not familial with changing with repurposing them they need a certain Pwm signal to alter speed and dc out put to motor . I would think you would need a console to send start signal ! Well I would start by disconnecting one side of the running motor and both the incline hots red /black .If it still trips with no load on it then most likely controller. Check my video on testing your walk belt. 90% of controllers go from worn walking belt causing high amps
Hi, my F80 2013 sole treadmill display console freezes a few seconds after power is turned on. I check the wiring all is normal. It was working fine before, but after we took the panel apart to move the machine, the problem happened after we re -assembled it back together.

Yes I hope all is ok white is always neutral red as far as I know is always up black is always down red is never neutral or common also if the black and red wires get mixed up it just works backwards red hooked to neutral I have never seen that on treadmill

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention that I if I try to put it in a workout, the treadmill starts but after a second stops and I get the “end of workout message “ message. The other thing I forgot to mention was that when I turn it on and I push any of the incline or speed buttons the treadmill the treadmill starts just like when I press the start button , but stops right away.

Try removing back cover lots of screws 😒unplug each wire harness one at a time and see if there’s a short, sounds like console to me. Hope this helps, Dave
Hi, Our neighbor gave us his Solo f60 because he forgot to unplug the main control board harness when he was disassembling and a bunch of those small gauged wires were destroyed. From what i can tell it's only on the cable side going to the control board and not on the plug side that goes up the steel arm to the console side. I tried soldering them and got it to power on but the motor doesn't spin after the countdown from 3,2,1. and 10 seconds later i get the low speed sensor error. If i rotate the belt, the error doesn't happen and i tried running the DC motor form my drill battery and it worked fine. So pretty sure i need a new harness or maybe controller board altogether. there are 2 green wires that are on that harness and i don't see one that is striped so i tried jumping them together in two diff configs. One has the the controller board clicking and cycling like it wants to turn the motor, the other method has everything looking right on the console screen but it doesn't turn the motor after the 3.2.1. count and throws the LS error. Where can i get a new wire harness for this?

I have taken things apart to get a good look at the boards and I do not see any evidence of burn marks. I do not smell any burning on the boards.
Any thoughts on what might be the issue?
Thanks
Well I would start by disconnecting one side of the running motor and both the incline hots red /black .If it still trips with no load on it then most likely controller. Check my video on testing your walk belt. 90% of controllers go from worn walking belt causing high amps
Hi, my F80 2013 sole treadmill display console freezes a few seconds after power is turned on. I check the wiring all is normal. It was working fine before, but after we took the panel apart to move the machine, the problem happened after we re -assembled it back together.
So the Sole tech.came out today to fix my incline, its not working period.when recalibrating get error,he told me i need new incline motor, got one from sole, i took a picture of all wire hook ups. befor i installed the new incline i saw he had it hooked uo as black red white ,black is up red com.white down I see that you say diffrent, this is a 2012 sole 63 could this wiring be incorrect the way he left it?
Yes I hope all is ok white is always neutral red as far as I know is always up black is always down red is never neutral or common also if the black and red wires get mixed up it just works backwards red hooked to neutral I have never seen that on treadmill
Any thoughts on an E-7 error message on Sole TT8?
jessekac It is coded as Improper motor voltage .Does the unit run or does it give code right away ?
If you want send me your serial # to fitnesspartspro @ Gmail .com So I can see what’s up on cost of new controller
@@FitnessTechnologyServices When I hit Start the fan kicks on for a few seconds then every stops and the error pops up on screen. I got the treadmill two weeks ago and it happened right away. Haven't been able to use it yet. Sole did send me the new board right away and I'm waiting for service but there's a backlog so no date set yet. I saw your video (great by the way) and got thinking I may be able to do this myself.
They sent me 1x Motor Controller, 1 x Computer Cable (upper), 1 x Computer Cable (lower) and 1x Computer Cable (lower) which is different that the other one. Should I try and replace myself? Do you know it voids the warranty?
jessekac So you would to have to check with sole on warranty issue . I have had lots of customers replace parts . But to be safe check with them . I think the controller is pretty easy to do ! I can help you on that . If you assembled the unit your self then you can install the harness for sure you already have ! What code pops up ? Call if you would like more help 410 286 5566 thanks Dave
My f80 Thread mill stops after two minutes under load. I replaced motor and still problem stopping. What could be problem. Not lube.
Hmm most likely it is the belt after a few years it needs to be replaced. And lube no longer helps see video on my full channel fitness technology services . Look for wear see if it is harder to push it in center than on side . I also have a video on correct amp for unit send me your serial number for belt size send to Fitnesspartspro@gmail.com
THANK YOU!!!! love it.
Well you are so welcome I have lots on sole. Please subscribe
I have a 2010 sole f80 and when I press start button the walking belt only move for a second and then stops and I get a message that says “end of workout” could you please tell me what’s wrong with it? I’m mechanically inclined and I should be able to do what you tell me to. Thanks
BLS I have never seen that I will try to recreate that and get back to you . My first guess stop button is bad . try it in different programs and run unit with out someone on it
Thanks for the reply.
BLS So that’s not good that is hard to say . Now it sounds like main console has gone bad . Will be hard to recreate that ,fist step would be upper display
Try removing back cover lots of screws 😒unplug each wire harness one at a time and see if there’s a short, sounds like console to me. Hope this helps, Dave
replaced the incline motor and now the controll board and still error? thoughts
Hi David did you recalibrate unit ? If so does it go right into error or move some first let me know
Send me your serial # to Fitnesspartspro@gmail .com so I can better help
We don’t have the wire harness on our website.Just send your serial number to Fitnesspartspro@gmail.com I have a video on finding serial number if needed
There's an issue with my treadmill. As soon as I plug the switch. The treadmill after INITIALIZATION starts 3 2 1 and starts automatically without me selecting manual or anything. runs on speed 1 and no buttons work at all. I can go into the factory settings but the buttons don't work after its in the menu. Since you deal with sole treadmills. I hope you maybe familiar with this problem. I will be happy if you can help me. The model is sole F85 and is 2013 model as you have in your videos.
Hmm this sounds like a bad console to me .try unplugging and replugging unit to try and reboot console if not you will have to open console back and reseat main wire harness a few times .If no luck you need to replace console.Send me your serial number to fitnesspartspro @gmail.com so I can look into it
@@FitnessTechnologyServices thanks for replying. How do I reset the the console and how do I find the serial number sir?
Just unplug it a few times # is in front by power switch
@@FitnessTechnologyServices I mean from where can I reset the console sir?
@@shawnkhan7866 Hmm you would have to remove the console back and unplug the main wire harness there is no reset button just hopefully just to get lucky
My Precor 9.33 Treadmill stopped working with an error code 22, I have tested the motor with a DC battery and is working fine but when I press the Start running button it gives me error code 22, can you help me please
I am sorry I don’t know the precor codes . In general this sounds like a bad controller if you call the shop 410 -286-5566 they can give you precor phone number
I just installed a new board in my F85 and now I have an Incline error message and it is stuck at incline level 15. I have ran calibration three times and still the error message. Any ideas?
David Borak well first check we’re incline sensor is installed make sure it is right port and well connected then the next thought make sure power wires on incline our right . Red is up white is neutral black is down
How do I find the same model
My goplus fitness treadmill needs the motor controller replaced but I can’t seem to find the same model

My F85 control board shows two green lights when I turn it on and that’s it. I can’t switch the treadmill belt on. If I switch it off and on there’s a click. The console sometimes flickers.
Sounds like a bad controller see my video on troubleshooting sole motor controller I would need your serial number sent to Fitnesspartspro@gmail.com to see what you take
@@FitnessTechnologyServices thanks. I just heard it beep like it’s going to start which is unusual.
And now it’s working again, probably briefly.
Just stopped. Says LS1.
@@4Cranleigh try to run unit with no one on
My Sole F63 will stop in the middle of a run and I get a LS1 error. If I urn off power it resets and works again and eventually the same thing happens.
This sounds like either low on lube or walk belt is worn . Run unit with no one on it if only happens with user on it then belt or lube send us your serial# to fitnesspartspro@gmail.com I will send you some links for troubleshooting if want thanks Dave
I have a sole f80 showing an e4 error. As soon as I hit start I hear a click then the error comes on.
Hmm this sounds like a bad controller. Run your motor on a dc power source see if it seems normal. If so then you need to test your walking belt for wear! Issue with either of these can over heat controller and blow controller send me your serial number Fitnesspartspro@gmail.com ....And I will send you links for testing
yes recalibrated showes incl err,but no code, does not move at all ,unplug unit turn back on says incline err immediatetly on bottom of screen press stop to bypass.Sole say said its the council,I have replaced incline motor and now board.
Send me your serial# to fitnesspartspro@gmail .com so I can see what system you have
We used WD40 Plus to spray the screws. Then using a drill worked.
Great idea thanks for posting
Great video on my it says LS1 low speed and won’t run!!
That sounds like lower motor controller e mail me your serial # . To fitnesspartspro@ Gmail.com or pic to same email so I can see what controller you have . Thanks Dave
Would be nice to learn how to repair the control board
There are a couple company’s on eBay but they run 199.00 + core too close to new for us .new we sell for 230.00
i can’t even get past the take the screws out part. 😂 there is no way. they are so tightly on there even a drill does nothing.
I just had a viewer post they do use WD-40 on the screws and sometimes you have to use some type of vibration to loosen the screws tap war use an impact drill
Do these sole control boards crap out often? Ive only had mine for 6 months and it’s already needing a replacement... the wires started melting
rmccorma well they are all the same or equal to others . The most often reason boards go bad is do to worn walk belt . If your wires are melting it’s most likely high amps from walk belt .see video amp check made easy hope this helps
@@FitnessTechnologyServices It turned out the wire that goes to the switch was touching the board, thanks to your video I was able to install the new board and routed the wires so they arent touching the board...its been a few weeks of solid runs! Thank you for your video it saved me the time of having someone come in on the repair! Much appreciated!
rmccorma awesome you should still check amps ? See video on amp check made easy Thanks Dave
@@FitnessTechnologyServices thanks, will check it out
This is fantastic, thank you! I have a defective F85 making this noise: ua-cam.com/video/cLepRz7bw_Q/v-deo.html Sole replaced the motor 2 times but neither fixed it. They sent a new board which is about to go in. Curious if you've seen this issue? Again, thanks for the video!!!
Do you sell parts for xterra tr 6.65?

Hi my F63 powers on but the display/ console doesn’t come on. Is that my control board? I can hear the beeps when I plug it in but no display screen.
Hmmm that can only be the upper display or the whole console depending on how techie your are
I may have forgotten to mention that although the power is on the display is not, the treadmill will not work. Is that still the console?
@@jacknthebox3723 for sure
It would be best to replace console
