I went through all your steps and determined it was a bad board. I then sent it away to be fixed by a company listed under ebay . It costed under 110 . I installed it today and the treadmill is working properly! Thank you for your videos!
Just wanted to thank you for these videos, I bought a Sole F63 for 150 bucks with the hope it wouldn't be too expensive. I replied the board and boom it works so happy! Thanks again!
That's exactly what my treadmill is doing. I found the part on your website and will give it a try, thanks! Also, you are selling for $40 less than other stores so thanks again.
Well that’s great and thank you. But also check your walk belt worn walking belt causes 90 % of controller issues. Push walk your walk belt walk on sides then in center if it is harder in center then belt cause the controller to go bad I have videos on that 😁
@@FitnessTechnologyServices yep, just tried that and it is definitely harder to push walk in the center of the belt...pretty easy on the sides. So, replace the belt too?
I did your troubleshooting exercise with my F80. When I turned the belt I did not receive the LS1 error code. I attempted to lift the deck on an incline; however, it would not rise either. Would my problem most likely be the control panel still/too?
Thanks for hosting this commentary on the Sole Treadmill. I am getting the LS1 Error (low speed) and the belt stops; I pushed the belt for 20 seconds or so then tried to raise the angle and that also was not working. After I restart it everything works for about 5 - 10 mins at 2-2.5 mph before stopping with the LS1 error again. Could this be due to a worn belt that is causing the motor to work harder and overheat the protection component?
Well you are so welcome I would start with seeing if you can run the unit for 20 minutes or so with no one on it. This will test the speed sensor and somewhat the controller. If unit only fails when a user on it then it looks like walking belt.send me your serial number to Fitnesspartspro@gmail.com so I can see what belt you have. And please subscribe Dave
We have a sole f60. It just stopped working. From your video it sounds like it is the control board. How much is a new one & do you sell this? Is there a video on installing it?
Yes on all three send me your serial # to fitnesspartspro@gmail so I can what you take and look for testing your walk belt for wear on my channel . 90% of all motor controllers go bad due to walk belt wear 🤔
Hi. We are having this LS1 problem on our 2010 F80. We did the test in this video and it did exactly what yours did. The only thing is that it sometimes totally works with no issues. Sometimes we can turn it on and it works flawlessly. Would you say it’s still the motor sensor? Thank you!
Hmm what I would do is run the unit with no one on it.And watch The speed light on controller it should flash every time the magnet in the front roller goes by I have a video on troubleshooting sole motor controller on my full channel fitness technology services.let me know results on my email Fitnesspartspro@gmail.com
Sir, I have a Sole S73 treadmill. Approx 2005. Everything comes on (incline motor, cntrl panel, fans), but belt won't turn. I think its motor cntrl circuit board. What do you think and do you sell?
Kent Jensen yep for sure lower controller but with a unit over 10 years you should replace belt and maybe deck send me your serial # to fitnesspartspro@gmail.com and yes we sell .Thanks Dave .Oh and see video why my motor controller blew on my channel
Also check the speed sensor on the left side by the front roller. If it is not aligned with the flywheel it will not detect any speed. This is a simple fix, just realign it.
Hi, I have the same issue with my f63. Incline works but belt won't turn. I've tried adjusting the speed sensor but still doesn't work. How much does the control motor cost? With delivery to Austin Tx.
J Saenz Hi the controller runs $225 15 shipping would need your serial # sent to Fitnesspartspro @g mail .com to get right part . Also look at my video why my Motor controller blew .most times walk belt needs to be replaced also !!
I have enjoyed watching all your videos to try and figure out why my F80 does not work. My daughter-in-law gave me her treadmill when It quit working for her. She said it blew the breaker at the house when she was running on it and it quit. I checked the motor with a battery from my electric drill and the motor started and the belt started moving. When I plug it in and turn it on all the things on the upper board light up and start going through all the displays...hill, fatburn, cardio, etc. If I push "start" it makes a noise like it is going to start moving, but nothing happens. The LS1 shows up and low speed error starts flashing. I was thinking it might be the motor control board after watching your videos, but I'm not sure. I also noticed three little green lights that come on on the motor control board when I turn the treadmill switch on. Just wandering what you think could be wrong?
Well thank you very much I would think you have two issues bad motor controller but also worn running belt .when the belts are worn it makes the unit hot blowing controller happens a lot if you want send me your serial # to fitnesspartspro@gmail.com and I will get you pricing on parts
$230.00 plus tax and s/h. Would need your serial number to send you the correct one. If interested, email me at fitnesspartspro@gmail.com with your serial number, name and address and note you need the motor control board and I will get you taken care of. Also look at my video "why my motor controller blew" That way you will know why it blew, lack of lube or worn walk belt. Your deck if worn may still be under warranty, I can check if you want. I just bought an F63 Sole treadmill and none of the buttons on the console work. When I bought it the person that sold it to me got it to run and she pushed two buttons to start. I was able to make it run one time but since then I can't make it run. Nothing works, fan, program, speed, incline, etc. I have power to the dashboard and it scrolls by reading, press program to start, but I cant' get it to do anything, can you help me? It looks like new and has set around for three or four years unused!
Hmm two buttons to make it start that is not normal you should just it start. This sounds like a bad console or display you will have to remove back cover and remove one port at a time to see if one is shorted
I have a F 85 with movement of the belt and just got a new motor but still get the Ls1 error. Tried adjusting speed sensor. Passes calibration but as soon as I step on it slows down and Ls1 low speed error. Can you suggest anything.
F63 Ls1 error was walking when it tripped breaker and now everything turns on except belt doesn't run.If I do this video diagnostics it seems motor board is bad any other test hate to spend $ on new board and not work or blow new board up.
Well you are right! 90% of all motor controllers go bad due to walk belt. The belt gets worn in center and causing high amps.I have a video on testing your walk belt with bad controller. Or send me your serial number to Fitnesspartspro@gmail and I will send you links
This is honestly hard to say Most likely a worn walking belt overheating connections. Did the lug on the controller melt also. There are some times controller just goes bad but normally the lug on controller melts then
Yes sir fist does it do this with no one on it ? If so start with speed sensor if only happens with user maybe walk belt send me your serial# to fitnesspartspro @gmail.com for more troubleshooting and to see what sensor yours takes
I bought an F80 at a garage sale. Everything works when I push start, but it will stop at the 5 minute mark and show an LS1 low speed error. Could this be a sensor issue or a bad board? Thank you.
I would start off with running it with no one on it . If it runs for more than 20 mins by it’s self then the walk belt is worn I would be careful worn walking belt blows the controller board! It gets expensive send me your serial number on my contact form on www.Fitnesspartspro.com I can send you links for testing.get belt info
I have a F63 and now the LS1 error appears after the first 15-20 minutes of use after I first start using it. When I turn it off and back on, the LS1 error appears within 30 seconds.

Hi thanks for sharing the video
I serviced my friends treadmill yesterday and the LS1 came up on screen 15min later
I would start with double checking the speed sensor. And make sure the speed signal light is flashing when roller goes by
