For some reason that little droplet kid asking you what stars are while this plays is really sad. Like, his line of questions are goofy, but when set to this music it really accentuates the fact that he's asking because he and his people have been trapped underground for WAY too long. Someone is denied such a common knowledge, such a simple thing. How I felt at that moment is just how I feel towards people that are excluded from society. Not excluded literally, but... I would absolutely lie to protect a loved one, but not to them. I don't lie and say I did that project I skipped. Instead I worked hard go keep my B in that class, succeeded, and eventually in the Summer told my father when he asked me about it. Sure, I made a mistake. However, I never covered it up. I WANTED to do the project to get it over with. However, I never did the project since of procrastination and shyness. I was afraid to ask my dad about getting supplies for my project. I never did the project, yet still kept good grades and didn't lie when asked about the project. Yes, he was disappointed. However, if I lied to him, I would feel the guilt for eternity. I never had tolerated lying. However, I would do it to protect someone. (I would put something Undertale related in this comment, but it doesn't really fit the theme of it.)

Other songs in the game really only make me think of the fandom but this track and Waterfall really give me a feeling that I'm right back in my first play through again. I left my game open while doing other things and listened to Waterfall for so long. It just has a really good feeling to it. It makes everything feel more like a game than just some putty the fandom is molding. I love the fandom but sometimes I just gotta sit back and enjoy the game itself.

It's... sort of a hopeless song. It's a version of 'battle against a true hero', as Waterfall, but it's an expression of Undyne's feels for her people, see? Trapped underground, with no hope or future. At least, thats my take on it.

For a long while i couldn't sleep at all at night because of my stress..i couldn't stand it anymore and tried different ways so i could sleep peacefully again. This is so beautiful... Waterfall is definitely my most favourite area in the game. It's so breathtakingly beautiful, and the music adds to the pain you get as you learn more about what the monsters had to go through... It makes my heart ache. Music can do some amazing things.

I can’t listen to this song without breaking down in tears tbh. It reminds me too much of my past. The calming song soothes the mind, not the heart.
To add to this, the way the rain spatters on the ground in waterfall is the ding sound in the song, the dripping water represents time without love, family, happiness. Because your stuck under a mountain.

It's... sort of a hopeless song. It's a version of 'battle against a true hero', as Waterfall, but it's an expression of Undyne's feels for her people, see? Trapped underground, with no hope or future. At least, thats my take on it.

I knew about Undertale since the day it was released. And then after i had finished this game, i remembered this song..i listened to it before i sleep..and for one time after almost a year, i slept for more than 3 hours (that's how much i used to sleep). This is so beautiful... Waterfall is definitely my most favourite area in the game. It's so breathtakingly beautiful, and the music adds to the pain you get as you learn more about what the monsters had to go through... It makes my heart ache. Music can do some amazing things.
