You will get a letter in the mail from FMCSA for your audit call. Do this ASAP. It’s easy, they basically just go over your application to verify what you’ve entered.
1️⃣5️⃣Pay your down payment for insurance close to the 21st day after applying for your authority
You have to wait 21 days from the time you apply for your Authority and you want to make your insurance effective a couple days prior to that to make sure the insurance company has time to process the filings so your MC will be active on the 21st day.

Quick question. Have you ever done OTR using a company that works as dispatcher/factoring agent? The commission is higher but the loads should be consistent. Just starting out and going that route. I didn't want to have to spend time finding loads, just driving. Thoughts?

That is correct, the MC number is associated with the business. It doesn’t matter how many partners are in the business you only need one MC number

There are so many tires companies out there looking for drivers. You should visit them and introduce your company

Hey Chrissy, my wife and i have made it to completing and receiving our DOT number. We completed our application and paid 300 but we expected there to be two seperate applications for DOT and MC#. So did yall have to fill out another app for the MC? its not showing our mc number when i go to check it on the fmcsa website. We did do it kinda at the end of the day friday so maybe the issue it on a weekday? again we have a dot number but no mc number yet. thank you so much for these. they have been a tremendous help to another box trucking couple! We got our DOT number the same day and it was a few days before we could see the MC number. Did you go back to your portal. Use this link and check portal.fmcsa.dot.gov/login

To my understanding Boxtruck drivers are not required to have CDL unless they drive a truck with Air Brakes. Here are the requirement for Drug Testing Consortium

You don’t need Workman’s com for a Boxtruck. Your insurance agent will help you with the rest

What amazon relay mean?
Im not seeing any loads for the present day, is that because im extremely new to Amazon or the loads already spoken for?
The best time to look for loads is mainly in the evening. Loads really start popping off later in the afternoon and then all through out the night. If you don’t have a score yet, that’s a factor to why you’re not really seeing loads either. You need three loads to get a score. They may not be the best loads but get them out the way and be on time. Get a good score and the board will be open to you. You can also post your truck to get a load assigned to you
