- A compilation of the life lessons and motherly advice from "Serial Mom" , played by the amazing Kathleen Turner.
Much love for John Waters, always.
I do not own this material, I did create this video for the purpose of helping to spread the word of Ms.Sutphin on a digital media library. Subscribe! - Фільми й анімація
I've heard that Turner says this was the most fun she ever had making a movie. I can believe it...she tore into this role with a vengeance.
I completely believe that. An utter joy to watch
Funny how Serial Mom’s son followed in her footsteps and later became one of the Scream killers!😱🔪She was THE perfect person for this role! 🩸
I mean.... They got the same haircut in this flick!
OK, the prank phone call to Dottie Hinkle is my favorite scene. LOLOL
@Emmanuel González LOLOLOL That's a good one too.
That and the court room bit.
Serial mom is one of my favorite John Waters films. Very underrated! Kathleen Turner was phenomenal 😂😂
One of her best roles, this movie is so awesome.
Omg that look she gives Scotty when she catches his eye out of the window is so funny. It's this, "Scottyyyy, you know I'm going to have to kill you now for witnessing that murder." lol. This movie was too twisted for '94, also it reflected society right back onto itself. My other favorite choice in this movie is that Beverly never actually murders Dotty Hinkle, but she continually just f**ks with her throughout the film which is so funny.
She was incredible in this role.
Who knew Kathleen Turner was so goddamn funny? She absolutely possessed that role!
I wanted a sequel where Beverly runs for President would be amazing!
Nah, too close to reality
@@doctorfeinstone6524 Would have still been more interesting than what American's got currently.
This is an absolute masterclass in ironic cinema. So much of what makes the film 'cheesy' is only possible by Waters having a keen eye for good and bad art/taste.
Nobody else could've played Beverly better than Kathleen Turner! Susan Sarandon was originally called on to play the part, but wanted too much money.
I think she probably would be good. But not as good as Turner!
I'm surprised Waters didn't consider Kathy Najimy or Bette Milder, but Kathleen Turner was good enough.
@@ghosthost100 Kathy didn't have "name recognition" yet....
Loved it! and the prank phone calls to poor Dottie Hinkle, OMG TOOOOO Funny! LOL
Poor Dottie Hinkle? She deserved everything that Beverly did to her in the movie and in the actual screenplay that was written by John Waters.
In the screenplay, she didn’t just purposely steal the parking spot from Beverly, she knew who she was stealing the parking spot from and then she got out of the car triumphally, swaggered passed Beverly in her car with her nose up in the air and didn’t even look at her or apologize. She stole that parking spot from Beverly with arrogant entitlement. The only time Dottie Hinkle ever notices people underneath her is when she looks down to see what she’s stepping on.
My favorite line: "Oh honey... The only serial I know anything about is rice krispies". My mother in a nutshell. 😂 😂 😂
Great underrated film, The world should see this movie, it's my favorite movie....😂😂😂❤❤❤
A fantastic bloody good movie.
all her kill was for a reason the teacher kill was that he talk about her son's art, the boy killed in the bathroom was about him and her daughter saying she hate him or she had wish for him to die, then the woman she killed in her closet was because the woman ate her birds, the old woman she killed because she yelled at her son and didn't rewind the video tapes, and the boy was that he saw her kill the old woman
& the woman at the courthouse for wearing white after Labor Day
@@Magoo7956 Which is the worst crime of all
I actually appeared in that movie it is small scene after she ran over Mr stubbings there was a car wash scene very brief but I was in that scene no autographs please lol
Perry Williams super cool 😎
I am not jealous luv...I am in Wimbledon the movie. A hotel scene. Dorchester. I used to work there.
Great. You are lucky to have been with a scene with Beverly.
Remember that used to be a thing not wearing white after Labor Day...
Still is. Ask Beverly.
Her expression in the last shot is amazing.
Whoo wee whoo wee whoo wee
Stephen Overdahl LOL
I LOVE KATHLEEN TURNER IN THIS FILM!
My mom showed me this when I was a kid. We watched it all the time and laughed our heads off
Kathleen Turner should have won an Academy Award for this performance. With perfect hair, perfect clothes, she's June Cleaver ... with a Freddy Krueger attitude. So funny!
This movie made me nauseous and laugh simultaneously! She was scary as hell, but so particular and ridiculous that it’s funny. 🤢🥴😆 Kathleen Turner was excellent in this role!!
“The only cereal I know about is rice crispies.”😆
I love this movie my first seeing it was 10 I think now I'm fourteen
Beverly didn't concede or compromise. She was a qangsta etiquette enforcer.
I would love to be Beverly for just a while to get rid of some jerks in my life and have as much fun with it as she does.
6:00 - "Buckle up, Scotty!"
One of my favorite films!!
You can't post comments after labor day.
4:30 that man screaming deserve an Oscar nomination.
Holding a shish kabob, no less 😁😂
I love this film. Just amazing fun ❤️
This is my favorite John Waters movie besides Female Trouble and Pink Flamingos! Imagine Beverly Sutphin meeting Patrick Bateman.
One of my favourite films 😊
Every Mom feels this way at some point!
I'm so hooked up on this film! xD
My favorite movie
Ironic that her son turned out to be Stu from Scream.
Great clip video.
So many messages in this movie. All done funny.
Well, except one or two. 🤷🏼♂️
"Now you know."

Was the fly the tipping point for her? What broke her sanity???
Gary White I think it was her neighbor not recycling! 😂😂😂
Wish she was my mom!
REWIND
Funny the way she yells 5:55

who-wee who-wee
🐦 "oooEee... oooEee!"
that entire phone call is a beverlyism haha
Lol Beverly is the biggest hypocrite in all of history!
Does anybody know the horror movie they are watching in the video store, it's a Black and White movie, were woman chops a head off with an axe? The "chopper" looks like Joan Crawford.
Terodesuuri I think that's Mommy Dearest if I remember correctly. Great movie.
leonkennedy1259 The movie is Strait Jacket, released in 1964, but the star is indeed Joan Crawford.
strait jacket from 1964 with joan crawford
My god!
5:03 Here's Bevy!!!!😈😈😈😈🤣🤣🤣🤣
Buckle up Scotty 🤣
😃👍
Suzanne Summers is next.
Why the dude scream “yeaaaaaaaaaahh” @4:28
Scotty pleasing himself was the best thing us 80’s gays had to porn.
Love Justin Whalin "going at it" in his bed.
My husband and daughter think I am serial mom when I go out on a mission cause I get wound up by people lol
Beverly seems nice except she just seems to kill people when they don't rewind their VHS, don't wear their seat belt, or when they wear white shoes after Labor Day. She kind of seems like a perfectionist. She can be rehabilitated with some OCD therapy.
REWIND!!!
FASHION HAS CHANGED.
No, it hasn't!
