I love how she goes from “Mother Fucker” to simply at ease when Rosemary walks into the room. This is one of my favorite Kathleen Turner roles. Goes from a probably “straight to video” movie to a cult classic
It played in theaters, but was a flop, even though it got good reviews. It's stood the test of time, though. Still loved and remembered after other movies from the same year are forgotten.
At least in the 90's, dollar theaters got some business from second run movies before they ended up on video. For the most part, movies would be released on video six months after the theatrical release, regardless of box office results.
yea. and statistically speaking. she's more than likely the one who initiated the divorce to divorce rape her husband.. did you see that nice house she lives in that her husband likely paid for?. she deserved it.
Luckily for Rosemary she didn't walk in a few seconds earlier. Otherwise she might have taken a very unfortunate and very mysterious fall out Beverly's window.
No one can do that now expcilly when some people have a door camera like ring and other home security systems that can see who's at their door with camera's.
I can watch this over and over and it never gets old the sexy Kathleen Turner voice talking such dirty filthy profanities !!! She is so sick and twisted I love it!
Yeeeessss. Everything does try to hard to be funny and it makes people laugh anyways. I don’t get it. Serial Mom is probably the most hilarious movie I’ve ever seen lol
@@Alixiran exactly I sometimes feel like was born into the wrong generation through some older comedies are problematic not all older comedies are problematic. 1:59 Slight error. Rosemary approaches the bedroom and hears both Beverly and Dottie exchanging insults. Since Dottie was only heard through the phone receiver, Rosemary shouldn't have been able to hear her. Or at least not as loudly as Beverly. I wonder why Beverly chose to simply harass Dottie. She usually kills her victims, but in Dottie's case, she preferred to torment her.
"I'm a divorced woman, please help me..."
Lamont Hall that’s the best part lmao
😂😂😂😂😂
I see why she's divorced. Stealing a parking spot is horrible behavior 😡
it's a beautiful piece of script
That's my fave line of the film!
I remember watching this when I was 9 for the first time, I hadn't laughed so hard in my entire life! 🤣
Dottie Hinkle should not have stole Beverly's parking spot. She deserved to be pranked.
Lol
Over something so petty. 💀🗿

She was always at ease. Look at that huge smile on her face the entire time.
That's how a psychopath really is lol Kathleen did a tremendous job portraying a female psychopath killer living a double life fucking hilarious
That's what makes this movie so unique. Everyone acts so campy except Turner who acts like a legit serial killer

I still call friends this way…good phone etiquette is essential! 😆😂🤣
Kathleen Turner was great in this, and Mary Jo Catlett was hysterical as Rosemary.
"Beverly, honey....you've got some doodooonyourshoe!" 🤣🤣😭😭😭
A masterclass in trolling ...
Now who on earth would, harass poor Dottie Hinkle? Serial Mom thats who! LOL
"I'm a divorced woman. Please help me."
🤣

My favorite line!
I wonder why she's divorced ...
This movie is how I fell in love with Kathleen Turner.
She’s a stone cold legend for doing this movie.
"I'm a divorced woman. Please help!" IKills me!!
If only Mrs Puffs hadn't interrupted Beverly Dottie Hinkle would have got more obscene phone calls.
Such a nosy parker, that one. Lol
Mrs.puff lol
Luckily for Rosemary she didn't walk in a few seconds earlier. Otherwise she might have taken a very unfortunate and very mysterious fall out Beverly's window.
Okay, first of all who just walks into someone’s home like that?
I saw Mrs. Kravitz do it on Bewitched.
It was another time...
This was before 911

A white woman in the suburbs in the 90s
“Now who on earth would want to harass poor Dottie Hinkle?” 😟
🤣🤣🤣🤣
All because of a parking space. 😠
Still funny as hell today!
“I can’t say the words out loud, I don’t use bad language.” 😂
This movie is brilliant, I can’t help but wish there was more trolling of Dottie
God damn you stop calling me!

Poor Dottie don't even know what she did!
Most horrible trash people never do.

Mary Jo Catlett as Rosemary Ackerman
Mrs. Puff
Nosy ass neighbor just walking into her house like that😂😂😂😱😱😱😱
I love this part ❤️❤️❤️
Mrs Wilson is the best !!!!
"The telephone company" who remembers when that was a thing?
声凄い
She was having a ball.
I just woke up thinking about this movie in a dream laughing. And now I get to relive this memory on UA-cam. Awesome... Not that I am a fan of YouT.
A pox upon caller ID, which put an end to these delightful phone calls.
Goddamn you, stop calling here!!! 😂
😂😂😂😂
Mary Jo Catlett as Rosemary
Who just sits and waits for a phone to ring?
Dottie Hinkle does.
Poor Dottie Hingle 🤣
This is dark comedy done right I miss this type of comedy nowadays all comedies try to hard to be funny

Who barges into someone’s home and walks up the stairs into their room?
LOL yeah, I thought she'd get murdered for making herself at home too much.
Poor Dottie Hinkle
1:56 lol
Hey it's Mrs. Puff
I feel like Divine would have been Beverly if they would have lived..
Second question, would the scene been funny or creepy if Divine was Beverly??
😂😂
All this over a parking spot!

Beverly kill her? Never. She's keeping Dottie around forever!
Way more fun I guess?? 🤷
I can't say the words out loud, I don't use bad language.
I know it's difficult, but I need to know the exact words.
Isn't that Mrs puff
Yes
before caller id
All because of a parking space? She needa get over that.
Joseph Hernandez 😂😂😂
Dottie shouldn't have stolen it 😒
If you sit there for *any reason* you get what you deserve. And Beverly had to keep looking because of it. Dottie is lucky she isn't dead.
She takes petty to a level you could never understand.
🤫 justice is bring served..
I'm a divorced woman , please help me.😢
I fell in love for real after this scene. Was sold on the whole movie.
