Young family trying to make it work in Thailand. It's not an easy task... We will share the challenges... the up's and down's...
If you have any questions I'm probably not the best person to give you solid advice but I will answer to the best of my knowledge and anything I share i've normally heard from a thai or a well established foreigner so isn't always 100% correct.

People who like watching vids about Isan don’t care if you are standing there waffling, going to the local 7 Eleven or traipsing down to a local street vendor on a saleng for some hot chicken. Chin up bro, you look after number one and don't worry about your YT I see so many Thai and travel vlogers becoming slaves to the old YT. You do you and don't worry about the rest. We will be here ready and waiting for when you are. I changed my YT name as now had to leave Thailand as my visa ran out so I crossed the border to Laos and two days later had a fall off the hire motorbike and have done my shoulder and ribs in baldy. I was going to try my had at travel vlogging but now don't feel like going anywhere so I'm resting up in Savannkhet waiting for the pain to stop which can take about 6 weeks for ribs. It's a blessing in disguise as the longer I stay here the more I'm falling in love with this place. They say Thailand is the land of smiles well let me tell you Laos is even more so. Never felt so at home in a new place.

How is the visa situation with laos? tbh im pretty much living in laos myself close to the border and I bet they share a lot of similarities! Happy to hear you're enjoying being there though! Keep me updated I should cross over soon and see the place for myself
@@lifeinisan I'm doing OK as you mentioned yourself it's very similar to Thailand in many ways. They speak laos but 99% also speak Thail so if you know the odd phrase in Thai you would find it very easy coming here. They watch 90% thai TV is what I have been told so that's probably why they understand thai too.
Lao unlike Thailand seems to make staying here alot easier and not so many hoops to jump through. I was planning on making my way to Vietnam then Cambodia and once there reapply for thai visa but despite the pain my in from the bike accident I'm loving it in Savannkhet. The more I learn about the place the more I'm intrigued about it. One massive disappointment is the amount of rubbish filling the streets that isn't nice to see but that comes down to lack of education so I'm told. One massive benefit is its so much cheaper than Thailand for just about everything.

Most people your age have a 10 second attention span, needing constant change so you are ok Drew. hahaha I like things mixed up between Bangkok and Issan. Do not worry about wasting anyone's time. dudeee ur channel grew so fast, i was here when u had like what 900-1k sub and 3-4 months later its almost 3k, thats like IMPRESSIVE..... (the people that complain are probably middle aged millenials in their mid life crisis, dont listen to them)
