    very nicely done, excellent display of hybrid systems and ship and would serve as a beautiful crossover from TOS to NG .
    Gabe Korner is a good source for inspiration too judging from the ship design. Over all, a very nice and refreshing surprise and pleasant watch, glad i stumbled across this one.

    I love it... No one has noticed the captain's face is textured with Kevin Sorbo, his hair is from Hercules. Just another kick back to Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda.

      HA Your right. I didn't notice the face. But I did jioke about the hair

      I did notice the 'long hair'; but I am watching the video, on my *cellphone.* And I'm riding the bus.
      (Plus, I'm seriously *visually challenged * and I get really funny looks from people when I hold my cellphone, *an inch and a half from my face!* )

      I Love it. Just one thing.. the registry number is a tad too high... It's pre excels era it could be better marked in the 1980-1990 series of registries as those are not only unused according to original lists BUT available for Constitution Class MK3 variants.
      Just a professional Starfleet Listmaker... But I love the premise of the design! Maybe call it a Constitution Class MK2- block C. As it looks very much like the Mid-refit design.

    • @dragonalpha9894
      @dragonalpha9894 5 років тому

      I caught my Andromeda Boy right on first look. I'm very impressed. But you need Rommie as the ships computer.

      Kirk always ignored that rule after Star Trek TMP and used one quarter impulse power. They did use thrusters but that was mostly for drydock in Star Trek TMP. Star Trek II despite re-used scenes from TPM Sa'avik ordered to Sulu one quarter impulse power when they left dry dock.

    Just a small point of correction, Robert. D C Fontana came up with the term "LCARS", and in an interview, she pronounced it as "L CARS", not "lecars", as you had done. Of course, everyone now refers to them as "OKUDAGRAMS" or "OKUDAGRAPHS", even though they were created by Robert Walker and Andrew Probert, working under Lee Cole! Got that straight from Bob Walkers own mouth!!!! Just wanted you to know!

    It looks like the tos Starfleet reversed engineered late 23rd and early to mid 24 century technology. I can see that happening if a ambassador class was tossed back in time and the crew was killed for what ever reason. Kinda like how it happened in the mirror universe with the defiant.
