Excellent video as always! Your friend Dan will be in for a very squeaky ride on the long run, within a month or two the front anti sway bar will start rubbing directly on those d bushes making an awful squeaky noise .. regardless of how much lube you use, it just will not last as most of it will squirt out once you clamp down the brackets. Hi Allan interesting video, colour combination on the rear suspension looks great, your making good progress,, now I know what those little vents are inside the car,
Great vid mate as always. I own a Range Rover l322 td6 and yes battery drain is a common problem. My motor stands for long periods of time, so just purchased a trickle charger when not in use. Parts that don't fit can get you scratching your head, I replaced the rear brake pads on my old Saab 9000 a few years ago. Every time I clipped the pad into the caliper piston it shot out again! The old one clipped in and out no problem. The new Pagid one looked identical but measuring with a Vernier caliper showed otherwise. Back to ECP and swapped for another make, problem solved. It would be interesting to remove the Goodridge hose that fits ok and try it in the problem caliper.
Hi Allan. You could check the voltage on the fuses. I've seen Scotty Killmer do that and it helped lecate the leak as the voltage on one of the fuses was higher than it should have been.
Thanks Alan you're encouraging me to get out and get my van ready for mot, was due in June because of the government extension and my laziness its now due in freezing December, sorry to say the discs go on the other way, all the best.

The brake hoses on the front should have come with a copper crush washer. They do that so they don’t have to make custom length fittings for every brake callipers setup. Providing the aluminium isn’t badly pitted and the surface is clean and smooth then you won’t have any sealing issues
@@alan4x I’m sure your customer will supply you with the right ones. We’re those lines meant for a mondeo or a focus? If you get in contact with Big REDD they will do the a custom line kit that will work for the specific callipers you have on the car that they are going on
Just got to this part. I was wondering would Dan get a new set of HELL brake hoses or not. I don´t know if they sell them front/back apart but when I ordered mine for the Volvo V50 I had to order all 4 of them as a set. They are really great quality and you can have them in colour of choice (they are a bit expensive in comparing with original ones but they are tight like armored hoses so they do not get that swell under preasure). I wonder if they had send him hoses for different car or where the fault had been. They make them plug and play really for individual models. Also it came to my mind those could have possibly been the front ones. Bad luck I gues.
Hi Alan, Hope you're well, Could you do a video on how to remove the MK4 Mondeo subframe should one of the fleet MK4s need a clutch, trying to learn. Thanks 😊
Bonnet pin switch is common, unplug it. You also need to leave it for longer to monitor it, if there’s a intermittent fault, it might wake back up on its own after a period of time..... continually. Easy way to tell if it’s gone to sleep, is the light on the gear selector will go out, then come on when it wakes up. Water in the electrics in the ear cubbies, sat nav etc is common. I’ve had around 10 of these l322s, I know them quite well.
There was a Zafira model that would have mysterious overnight battery drains - could not find any drain or anything on the meter - then one night was taking the bins out and could hear the radio blaring away - turned out the radio would randomly switch on and off, turned out to be a fixable software prob. Perhaps you could fix up a timelapse camera on your amp meter?
