The original group disbanded and the lead singer, Gregg Fulkerson, tried to remake the band with new members, and even made an album called The Innocent Ones. Gregg passed away in his home in 2009.

Sincerely can't say it enough, there's something special about Blue Tears, there one of those bands that i get exicited to hear no matter how many times ive heard the songs and usually have a hard time letting the nxt track play without repeating whatever i had on lol.I'm a dire hard collector of all 80s rock/glam and out of the thousands of albums I've acquired over the years Blue Tears has always stood out and held a special place. There's something in Greg's vocals and the song writing.... the sheer number of amazing hooks. Easily in my top 5 favorite bands of all time. Would LOVE to see this footage get a DVD release

Halfway to Heaven is my favourite song of them and their first song I heard back in 2011 during my college days. A funny way how I got to hear about them, actually I was searching Europe's song Halfway to Heaven n tumbled upon this. Gregg's vocals first made me think this as a Bon Jovi song. RIP to him..a wonderful band very few Lucky men got to hear.

If you see a dude with a blue shirt that says "Jesus Rocker" on the back that's me. Such a cool memory. Did Roger LaPoint sing a song in this show called Stay With Me? Some how I was able to video tape the Final Exam Jam in the old Gym that same year I believe. I gotta go through some boxes and find that now.

Lived in Union City back in the 80's and remember an interview you guys did on a local radio station. I thought I remembered the band being called Sahara. had a great song about Jesse James.
I taped the whole broadcast from 92 FM that night on a jam box cassette player and listened to it for YEARS. Every time I heard that E minor chord that starts that song, it gave me chills. Thanks, Mike for posting this show. My friends and I were right in the center of the crowd in the theater that night and it’s such a treat to revisit the soundtrack to our lives from those days. I probably bought 16 copies of Blue Tears debut album and was thrilled to find “Mad Bad & Dangerous” on CD a few years ago. Best wishes to you.
