Max and I went to the same high school. Graduated 24 years after he did. Met him at our Hall of Fame dinner in 2019. Great guy! He even sang a few notes!
@@the18handsteam70 No, it's NOT or only when songs are culled and put in a rotation, a list of songs. I hear so called "hits" all the time on so called "classic" rock stations. They haven't got a clue as to what the decades ago were about. This sort of BS from the 80's really alienated me. This song is cheese.
Pretty sure this was first single from the album of same title. Did not hit top 40 then they released "Second Chance" which hit top 10 and is the groups highest charting hit. Max Carl did a great job for those two albums that he was lead singer and chief songwriter.
This song was one of the songs that we listened to coming home from ball practice with Dad. So many memories.
Memories of bad music. Lucky you.

Can we all just rewind to the 80,s it was a great time...fuk da present.
amen
Thank you for posting this rarity !!
Another .38 Special hit single that has disappeared from radio rotation. "Rock & Roll Strategy" hit #5 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart in 1988.
@@sjdhgydhfyrn1023 In USA sure, but not in France ;)
Less than 500 views? This was a radio hit back in the day!
And a 'classic rock' staple today.

No, it only made 67.
Not very well known song but it's a beauty.
No, it's an ugly.
Not really .38 Special, but I love this song!

Why couldn’t this lineup stay together when Don Barnes returned to the group. they could’ve made amazing music together as a 7 man band.
Lol!!!!
What crap. 38's early stuff wasn't good but OMG is this awful.
