i get ya , i was there then music such a part of our lives , we had a lot too , all bands wanted THEIR OWN sound, not like the clone bands that are only around for 10 minutes today , back then music complimented our lives, now its just stressful to try to find anything good on the radio , and no its not cuz e are older , the kids really suck today, heres some tunes maybe you liked but forgot about, diesel sausalito summer night , the kings switchin to glide, heart where do we take it now. :)
she still performs?!! or do you mean, you're just lucky you can tune into UA-cam to listen to her anytime? because all the other music we have these days, is just shit, in its purest form? so instead of getting Pat benatar to perform at awards ceremonies, we get skanky miley Cyrus or overrated Beyonce singing their vomit inducing music. Man, I just realized how bad music is these days, compared to the music we had yesteryear. smh, there is no comparison. The best era for music being in the 80s and 90s. I suppose we still have good memories of those days and will always have it.

We saw her last Saturday in Bethlehem Pa, just her vocals and Neil's acoustic. Neil Giraldo is the most underrated guitarist in in rock. She still hit all her notes, she did every hit in the original key. she was given an amazing gift ad still uses it like a champ. Neil stated that Pete Townshend was one of his idols. as is he mine. love these 2
This absolutely fantastic song has been guiding me during the last months through the best times of my life I have ever had. I can underline every word of the lyrics. Thank you, Pat Benatar!
Remember hearing this for the first time at the end of 1988...my first reaction was "Woah! This is GOOD shit! THIS is a hit!" Sadly it never topped the charts but it is still - in February 2024 - a damned good rocker for a song is three and a half decades old :-)
Pat's last top 40 hit after an awesome 8 & 1/2 year run. She is a legend. Now 71 she hasn't slowed down. Still married to the same guy for almost 42 years now (a rarity in show biz)
She's slowed down. Saw her a couple of times in the past few years, and her sets are 40-45 minutes long these days. Surprising, I saw the Doobie Brothers last year, and they played for two and a half hours and sounded great. I'm still trying to figure out how that's even possible.

i get ya , i was there then music such a part of our lives , we had a lot too , all bands wanted THEIR OWN sound, not like the clone bands that are only around for 10 minutes today , back then music complimented our lives, now its just stressful to try to find anything good on the radio , and no its not cuz e are older , the kids really suck today, heres some tunes maybe you liked but forgot about, diesel sausalito summer night , the kings switchin to glide, heart where do we take it now. :)
oiyabastard sammy hagar ill love again. gregg allman i aont no angel, donnie iris ah leah, nick lowe `cruel to be kind etc. etc.
she still performs?!! or do you mean, you're just lucky you can tune into UA-cam to listen to her anytime? because all the other music we have these days, is just shit, in its purest form? so instead of getting Pat benatar to perform at awards ceremonies, we get skanky miley Cyrus or overrated Beyonce singing their vomit inducing music. Man, I just realized how bad music is these days, compared to the music we had yesteryear. smh, there is no comparison. The best era for music being in the 80s and 90s. I suppose we still have good memories of those days and will always have it.
+Rob Miljus she still rocks I watched her and Neil last night on AXS tv 35 year anniversary concert .hasn't lost anything
+George Vreeland Hill I agree today its rap crap, or pop bull shit. Today its about, sex, evil killing, gang banging crap. Today its about, looks, money, and fame, with no talent.
Hard to believe after all these years... still holds truth. Still can't skip on angel's wings to heaven. Have to become one first.
Boy and Girls of 2019, this is Rock.

What fantastic life affirming lyrics
I believe there comes a timeWhen everything just falls in lineWe live and learn from our mistakesThe deepest cuts are healed by faith
All fired up
How to find your own religion in three minutes
The deepest cuts are healed by faith
some hydrogen peroxide can help too.
If this song doesn't get you pumped, you're dead inside.
Tim Devel on my gym playlist
Been on my workout song list since this cd came out.
Damn straight it does!!!
This song still gets me going lol
You got that RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is JUST UNBELIEVABLE!!!! :) Those pipes !
Congratulations Pat on your inclusion in the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame! Well deserved.
We saw her last Saturday in Bethlehem Pa, just her vocals and Neil's acoustic. Neil Giraldo is the most underrated guitarist in in rock. She still hit all her notes, she did every hit in the original key. she was given an amazing gift ad still uses it like a champ. Neil stated that Pete Townshend was one of his idols. as is he mine. love these 2
2024 still rocking with Pat & Neil
Yesssss I'm Here Dude...🤘🖤🤘
@@melaniefowler2791me too🎉🎉
This is so Ageless
Who's Neil?!
@@ValerieSantonoceto Neil Giraldo. Pat Benatar's husband of a very long time and the lead guitarist in this video.
One of my all time favorite female singers...I would go as far as to say she defines vocal perfection.
this is her best song and spider is superb
I'm 58 years old and I danced , Pat brings back to living., love her.
Such a powerful voice from that little lady! Fantastic performer, I've been a fan of hers for a long time!

This absolutely fantastic song has been guiding me during the last months through the best times of my life I have ever had. I can underline every word of the lyrics. Thank you, Pat Benatar!
The Queen of Rock and Roll!
"We Live And Learn From Our Mistakes, The Deepest Cuts Are Healed By Faith" Great Song from a Legendary Performer !!!
One of her MANY songs that makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up every time!
HER song? This is a cover of a Rattling Sabres song.
Isn’t she singing it and isn’t that her band?

FOR THE TRUE FANS OF CLASSIC ROCK MUSIC
this song makes the hair on my arms stand up ✌✌✌🫀🫀🫀
I'm 15 minutes from Lynn Auditorium on July 10th. I would love to get a picture with the two of them. They were my childhood and teens.
One of Pat's better songs 😎 still listening now 2024 and I'm All fired up.
I can never play this song loud enough... It's that good.
ua-cam.com/video/kV1ELKBGpu8/v-deo.html
f yeah!
One of her very best.
File in the "CLASSIC" 80's Rock library.
@@saltydogz4657 Yes I've seen the Doobies in recent years Much of their original nucleus was still intact (Tom Johnston, Pat Simmons, Tiran Porter) you'd never think they are in their 70s.
Lyrics
Livin' with my eyes closed, goin' day to day
I never knew the difference, I never cared either way
Lookin' for a reason, searchin' for a sign
Reachin' out with both hands, I gotta feel the kick inside
All fired up
(Now I believe there comes a time)
All fired up
(When everything just falls in line)
All fired up
(We live an' learn from our mistakes)
All fired up, fired up, fired up, hey
Ain't nobody livin' in a perfect world
And everybody's out there, cryin' to be heard
And now I got a new fire, burnin' in my eyes
Lightin' up the darkness, movin' like a meteorite
All fired up
(Now I believe there comes a time)
All fired up
(When everything just falls in line)
All fired up
(We live an' learn from our mistakes)
All fired up, fired up, fired up
(The deepest cuts are healed by faith)
Now I believe there comes a time
When everything just falls in line
We live an' learn from our mistakes
The deepest cuts are healed by faith
Now I believe there comes a time
When everything just falls in line
We live an' learn from our mistakes
The deepest cuts are healed by faith
Now I believe there comes a time
When everything just falls in line
We live an' learn from our mistakes
The deepest cuts are healed by faith
Now I believe there comes a time
When everything just falls in line
We live an' learn from our mistakes
The deepest cuts are healed by faith
Now I believe
All fired up
(Now I believe there comes a time)
All fired up
(When everything just falls in line)
All fired up
(We live an' learn from our mistakes)
All fired up, fired up, fired up, hey
(The deepest cuts are healed by faith)
Now I believe there comes a time
When everything just falls in line
We live an' learn from our mistakes
The deepest cuts are healed by faith
Song wasn't hard to write. Two verses and the rest is repeated for 4 minutes. Not her best work.
@@rontorrance3170 It's all about the guitars! That's why this song rocks! The lyrics are secondary.
Thank you 🙏 so much much for the lyrics to this awesome 💪 song 🎶. ✌️ ♥ 🙏 Levent 🦁
Your dead to me
@@ronski39 She didn't even write it
Neil Geraldo has to be one of the most kick ass, underated rock guitarists of all time.
her ol man is a pretty damn good guitarist !!!! you rock buddy ...got my thumbs up !!!!!
A level Lady Gaga will never attain!
That's why they are a team. Pat Benatar's music is equal parts Pat's incredible singing voice and Neil's equally incredible guitar playing!
Love some oat Benatar she used to sing at the teen club in fort Jackson , Columbia south Carolina, Military brat here. Fort Jackson 🇺🇲
Coolness
The QUEEN OF ROCK IS STILL REIGNING
It’s 2020, this always did and always will get rock fans into beast mode.
Pure class!
To me this is her best song. ABSOLUTELY ROCKS!
Hey Pat ! Vous êtes my Queen of Rock ! As my friend Bruce Springsteen, The Boss, and Elvis The King !!!
The late Glenn Miller looked for the perfect sound & found it after an accident in a recording studio....Pat & Neil have that perfect sound which, like Millers, cannot be replaced..
What a great couple neil and pat are. A true example of love and happiness.
This lady knows how to rock a kick ass anthem!
About 12 years ago...I got to see Pat and Neil live at a outdoor concert in the park....Pat would've been in her mid 50's back then...she and Neil opened with this song and just SLAYED it...she was awesome, and Neil should be more recognized as an amazing guitar player!
What a show!! it was the highlight of the summer for me. Pat...you're fuckin awesome!
