I saw a video, Neil and the drummer are best friends and it was the one time Pat thought they would come to blows. Because the drummer couldn't figure out what the beat was, so Neil would play the riff first and have the drummer follow in....sheer genius.

We saw her last Saturday in Bethlehem Pa, just her vocals and Neil's acoustic. Neil Giraldo is the most underrated guitarist in in rock. She still hit all her notes, she did every hit in the original key. she was given an amazing gift ad still uses it like a champ. Neil stated that Pete Townshend was one of his idols. as is he mine. love these 2

I always considered her to be the first true female rock star. Sure, there were some before here, but they were really just blips on the radar. Benatar proved she had staying power.
Would have to disagree. As far as rock goes, especially ladies that know how to rock. my choice would be Heart. Dreamboat Annie was an absolutely amazing album,but Pat Benatar is right up there with them!

I never realized Pat Benetar's version of this song isn't the original, Rattling Sabers was the original band that performed this.
Never heard the original version was from them, I just listen to it and I can tell that in their way to play it is a great tune, but regardlessing Pat's version, on my own words, It's the best of them all!!!

This was the tour I met her at the tour bus. She let me come on the bus and she signed my concert ticket. Her daughter Haley was 4 bouncing around the bus playing with Neil. Pat looked so young; like a teenager. She could of barely been 100 lbs and she was tiny.
I think it would be safe to put this tiny dynamo at about 90 pounds. And she embodied every note with every ounce. Fabulous !

my favorite pat benatar song! when i was little my dad had her greatest hits cassette tape and this song i remember him playing over and over when i got older i bought the same album on cd and formed my own opinion on her SHE IS A BADASS! and as it turns out All Fired Up is my favorite song for many reasons that voice of her's is unreal or as my dad put it when i told him i was going to see her at the zoo concert\benefit he said her voice would scare the lions! lol seriously tho it sounds even better live!
Was it the Best Shots album that your dad had? My mom had that one on CD and gave it to me before she moved. I was 4 years old when this one first aired on MTV and I remember just stopping in my tracks and turning my head to the TV. A few weeks later my mom ordered the Best Shots CD and I had her record it on a cassette tape for me up to track 12 which was Heartbreaker. I wore that tape out!!!
