not sure if you'll see this but I have 2 questions:
first, why is the EQ necessary for the Master? And second, can these presets work using other Maximus presets like Clear master/Clear master RMS?
Besides that, thanks for the tutorial, it's pretty useful and helped me alot on improving my mixing!
@@bannedforeverrrrrrrr Don't know if it's necessary :D but I'm doing it to be clear, that there are now unwanted frequencies.
Regarding the presets, I don't know really. I always say, if it sounds good, it is good. There's no right or wrong

Diggi bist du Deutscher? Ein wenig viel „ähm“. Mit dem EQ bei dem du die Störfrequenzen herausfilterst solltest du vorsichtig sein. Im Normalfall solltest du beim Mastering niemals den Mix so in seiner Dynamik einschränken. Alles was stört sollte bereits im Mix an sich rausgenommen werden. Bedenken dass du so die einzelnen Effekte ansteuern kannst, ohne die gesamte Summe zu manipulieren.

you can try both if you want. I only used the post knob. If you get the same result with the pre knob, why not :D If it works, it works.

I wanted to ask why did you put the volumes down in the beginning of the video for every track/channel ?
To get more headroom :) I normally put the channels down until the matser is at around -9 db, so I have enough space to put it up again at the end :)
