I'm really proud of this video. I spent all day working on it and even picked up a new mic (thank you Christopher, my biggest supporter :)) and it came out really well i think.
Yesterdays feedback was so helpful. I'm going to stick to normal houseplant vlogs, but there are some places that blast music and so i just cant have the audio there, and 36 is one of those places :(

I love begonias so much but I get intimidated by the high humidity ones. I keep my office at around 50% for all my Tropicals and don’t want to getting much higher. I don’t even know how to tell which ones need high humidity.

Very cool begonias. The melanobullata is the one I'd like to try but the humidity is something I would struggle with. I have been on steves leaves wish list & was given an option to buy when it was in stock but chickened out because of the humidity. Its nice to see what it looks like in the juvenile form
I have a Julua coming from Anya , very exciting also a P Compostantadatum I’m sure I butchered that one ! That was on your top philodendron vid ! I haven’t seen any out there other than her shop and your recommendation helped 🤩 My Verricosum I ordered from her last week is thriving in a plastic bag !
Yes, it's begonia tiger. I have it. I'm in England and have mine growing in my south facing window. I do not grow in greenhouse or humidity tent but out with me, breathing my air. We keep the house cool in the winter and no air conditioning in summer. It's absolutely stunning. Roots easily from leaf cuttings in water. Takes a while (3 weeks or so) before starting roots but then secondary roots come on quickly.

I have a beautiful begonia that’s , starting over again too . It was all by itself at a small summer business here . It has the thin Angel wing shaped leaves and silver dots . Not sure if u may know what kind that it ? Tfs 🌻🌻🌻

When you said you had your julau sitting on top of perlite- Do you just put perlite in a dish with water like a pebble tray? I just got one from the same place and I thought I had enough humidity but now I'm second-guessing my terrarium 😅

I bought like 8 begonia babies about a month ago and spraying the dirt with peroxide water has been saving them from mold, root rot, overwatering until the roots grow in, and bacteria. They are shooting out new leaves. I also keep them next to the humidifier in the shade under the window. I think you should try. They were starting to fail and now they are doing much better.
Wow you taught me something I had no idea about. I touched my begonia julau and she was withering. Now I know why I hope she pulls through.

Do you check your pH in soil/water before you feed or water?
My curtisii lives in my terrarium, it likes low light. It goes green with too much sun. They are absolutely beautiful. Nice video.

I mean this in the friendliest way possible, I would love to watch your videos if you maybe invested in a better mic or a way to balance your audio a bit more. As it is your vocals are a bit blown out and it sounds like you’re yelling/hurts my ears, I love your content I just have to turn you way down or turn the audio off when I watch and wanted to let you know in case you weren’t aware and you wanted to look into a different mic!

Why would you recommend a plant that you can’t touch, is super expensive, and dies at the drop of a hat ? I never Understood wanting something just because it is rare.
Its not because its rare, most “rare” begonias are easily obtainable. Its because of its unquestionable beauty that i like them
