I've recently gotten into fly tying and your videos are very pleasant to watch. No flashy editing, good camera angle, thorough explanation, and good advice and tips. The flies look great and you have so many videos available. Thanks for sharing your experience and skills.
A trick I’ve learned is that when you have dubbing that’s unruly (hard to spin) I concentrate on the portion that’s nearest to the hook then take a single wrap which anchors the dubbing in place and this makes it much easier to spin the rest of the dubbing on the thread
Nice little bugs there Jim. I’ve just followed along and for once my deer hair didn’t fight me! lol. Thank you for another one and a Happy New Year to you and your family dude.
Nice tie Jim. Have you ever fished the Manatawny creek in S.E. Pennsylvania? I heard you mention that creek sometime ago. Think you even named a fly after it. Just wondering if it's the same creek I live 7 minutes away from.

My thoughts exactly
Welcome aboard! I truly appreciate it.
Thanks
Like the half hitch technique. That’ll help with small versions. Thanks Jim. Happy New Year
Thanks, you too!

Good tip thanks
@@TheFlymanJim You are welcome. I just wish I could tie half as good as you. Great work. I enjoy your videos

Glad you enjoyed it
Trying a Caddis tie for the first time. You make it look nice and easy. Up here NE we have an early bug called a Small Black Caddis #20 or smaller.
Good Luck with that one Keith, My eye's don't permit me to tie #20's anymore!
