I like to put in chinese fuel pumps from Amazon and eBay. They are cheap, so they only cost me 30-50 bucks, with free shipping. They only last me 3 to 6 months, so I gotta replace them regular, and get lots of practice. I could replace one in my sleep after prolly having done it 7 or 8 times on my truck. My brother said why don't I just buy a Delphi or other name brand for like 200 bucks and prolly never have to do it again. But I hardly ever have 200 bucks, and I can afford 40 bucks, so I'm saving money.
Not only did I switch to a different pump manufacturer because the pump didn't last too long but the Delphi pump is made in China well guess what the Carter pump is made in China two2.
Well, I probably got about 2000 miles on the truck since then seems to be holding up. This was one I got off of Amazon. I don’t think really there any different doesn’t matter nowadays they’re going to use junk. And there’s hardly any companies that manufacture anything in the United States . It’s too expensive. We either want cheap or we want good I think people would pay for good…… but it would be expensive. Nobody wants to take the risk. People bitch about the prices of my parts and they save their vehicles from the junkyard … without them, that’s the only place it’s going And they can watch me on UA-cam and they still don’t give a crap I help millions of people they just want everything cheap
@@sharpcarco I can understand some people wanting cheap because that's all they can afford. I have been there. Had a Peugeot given to me that needed back brakes. It was a 66 I think and the wheel cylinders were leaking. Nobody close to me had any parts for it and a rebuild kit was not to be found. I had to travel a bit and the cylinders were 45 bucks a piece back in the early 70's when your normal price for a wheel cylinder was about 6 bucks. It's a good thing the car was free. If you buy from China and the part only lasts 3 years and you have to replace it then it's not cheap. Bring back American made parts, heck I'll even buy from Mexico maybe the illegals will go back home to make car parts instead of us just giving em a handout a voter's registration.
this might be the best video ive ever seen
It certainly could be if you’ve never watched any other videos
Good video. Depending on model, tilting the bed is also an option.

I always make an access panel. With the junk pumps they're selling, you could take a tank down 4-5 times. Not this guy.
Gotta put a fuel pump in a 99 Caravan. Put a new Delphi pump in three years ago so I'm trying a Carter pump this time. Happy Motoring.
You brother!!!
